Anyone watching indoor tennis?
I am watching ATP sofia indoor hehe A small amount of bet for Mannarino. ATP ranking 46. Hope he makes it.

On which channel is it being telecasted ?
I tried streaming online but didn't find it.
Check bet365 live streaming if you have an account. Mannarino lost the first set but coming back in 2nd set. I hope he holds the 10th game :-)
Mannarino holds his served on the second set and score is 5-5 with Maden serving. I hope Mannarino won the second set to extend to third.

Edit: Maden holds served. 6-5 in his favor.
Man he lost :-(
It was a great fight. He lost in tie break :-(

Not a lucky day for me
I noticed most of these lesser known opens the favored players do not win their matches.
I was watching the Stan Wawrinka match yesterday and he lost. The player who he was playing wasnt a high ranked player either. I think over 60th place of world standings.
Even Denis Istomin lost to Matteo Berrettini earlier today so these smaller tournaments are real up in the air to who will win not corresponding to standings in the world ranking.

Maybe just a case of bad day for Stan, we can't discount that he is not pushing his body. After all, this is just a minor tournament and he doesn't care if he win or not.

So it's really hard to bet on this tournaments, bookies odds are too difficult to hit. I don't what to say this, but we can't really discount the possibility of match fixing, just saying.

This is why I never bet on these tournaments as they are hard to predict even if the top players are playing as they might not even be playing at their best. I really believe that the top players just use these tournaments to keep their fitness up ready for the major tournaments like the Masters and Grand Slams.

And again, there are lot of young prospects, but they always feel short in big tournaments. But a lot of them have big potentials so in the coming years it will be a new generation of tennis greats.

However the day the top 4 goes, the change will be dramatic in tennis world.
This is gonna be fun I bet Smiley

Not sure we will see such close games year to year tho for a while after the current top players retire.

and its importand for any game that the younger talent do come through
the ranks, the household names like Federrer, Nadal, Djockovich, Murray,
Wawrinka, Williams, Kvitova, Wozniacki and Stephens will fade from the
game to be replaced by new exciting talent like Tsitsipas and Osaka.

I also agree that Murray will bow out at Wimbledon, he really struggled and
was clearly not his physical self at the AO.

That is right my friend, we are seeing the young talent rise to the top on the Women's side with Osaka winning two GS already and we still got a lot to see with Simona Halep who is still young at 27 and also Garbine Muguruza but on the Men's side not one young guy has been able to win a GS yet. Yes they are good in lead up tournaments but they can never produce the same when it comes to Grand Slams. I was hoping that this could be the year but the way Nadal and Djokovic are playing right now it might not happen even though Tsitsipas was the shinning light at the Australian Open for the young talent but still he has a long way to go before winning a GS, maybe next year for him.

Exactly, in the women's side we may have witnessed new girls coming out and winning Grand Slams already. Although the top spot has changed a lot of hands in the last 5 years or so as compare to the men's side wherein the top 3 or 4 still dominates. And again, there are lot of young prospects, but they always feel short in big tournaments. But a lot of them have big potentials so in the coming years it will be a new generation of tennis greats.

Because his brother specialises himself in doubles event and he is also a former number 1 doubles.

There are a lot of potential young tennis players coming up so even if Andy retires (we hate to see it), someone will come out and we will hear new names this year. And in the next couple of years we might see the eventual changing of the guards.
Ok that's explainable. I was never into double. It's not much exciting.

Andy Murry is the pride for English tennis. I hope he get well soon and come back again.

I did not know that Andy had a brotherl, oops. I hope Andy comes back from this hip injury. After Djokovic, Nadal and Federer, Andy Murray is another player who plays good tennis.

I don't see any important match today except for the Davis Cup qualifiers, Uzbekistan vs Serbia and Slovenia vs Canada, so If I where you just keep your coins in your wallet for now because there's nothing worth to put our money with.

Thanks for the input mate. Appreciate it a lot.

In other news: The Murray Brothers is contemplating for a double's in Wimbledon, not far fetched and at least Andy will be having a lot of fun moments before finally retiring. What do you think guys?

I haven't seen any live tennis in my whole life, lol. I envy you for having the chance to travel and watch tennis greats like Rafael Nadal.

The closest I can think of is watching Davis Cup eliminators in my country, but it's nothing compare to watching at least one grand slam tournaments in my lifetime.
So sad. Not sure which country you live but I am fortunate to watch tennis games whenever I want. It's fun to have a day out with friends and watch the game live.

We all know that Nadal's strength is clay and there are years wherein he was really unbeatable on clay court. So I think he is still the man to beat in French Open. However, we have seen Djokovic emerges and young prospects coming out of the shadows although they really choke on big tournaments, I wouldn't be surprise for another Nadal vs Djokovic finals in Roland Garros 2019.

If this happens and Nadal is again on his A game I will try to watch the final in RG. Tickets aren't cheap but it's definitely worth it.

RG is a great experience especially if you are blessed to see Rafa Nadal's game. Some year ago I was lucky to be in France and I went to the court to see a game that Nadal was playing. It was one of the best pieces of experience I have in my entire life.
