I sure want Stan Wawrinka to rise the trophy this time.
But it will be a daunting task for him to overcome Nadal's style of playing especially on clay.
His is the favorite to win it but then again..
so was Halep.
And look what happened there. Roll Eyes

What a great match between Murray and Stan. It was absolute joy for me to watch them on the court. Nadal destroy Thiem and shows that he is in life form again. It is so nice to see. Tomorrow he is a favorite, no question about that. Much more fresh than Stan and got all the conditions on his side(clay surface, top spins on Stans one hand backhand) but I would like to see Stan raising the trophy because I enjoy much more tennis style that he plays.

I'm looking forward to the men's final - Nadal vs Wawrinka. I thought it'd be Nadal vs Murray but Murray has been out injured for a while so he wasn't at his best.

My prediction for Nadal vs Wawrinka - Nadal to win in 4 sets.

The youngest player to win at Roland Garros just won.
She is like 20 years old and beat out one of the top seeds in the world.
What are the odds?
What ranking was she anyways? over 100th ranked Shocked

Nadal did not have any difficulty getting past and over Theim.
I don't think anybody had any doubt one him moving on and meeting the next opponent in the finals.
He is King of Clay after all so it is set for Sunday finals showdown between Rafa and Stan.
Epic battle once more at the Garros. Grin
This is the 4th Grand Slam final for Stan . He has 100% win record in GS finals , Rafa has 100% win record in Roland Garros finals . It will be epic for sure but I want Nadal to win this , he deserves it .

It will be epic. But I also want Nadal to win as well. If the greatest clay-court player ever shows up Sunday in top form, how the underdog performs won't matter. Nadal will capture his 10th championship at Roland Garros.

Good win for Stan. It was an epic match between the two. I was on the edge my seat. LOL. I think Stan proved that he is the stronger of the two that us why he was able to dominate the fatigue looking Murray. I think Murray gave it all, but Stan was really dominant and I find it strange that he has the mental toughest inside of him in this kind of crucial tennis stage.

Wawrinka is by far the superior player. He should never have lost the third set.

I was particularly glad that his opponent's usual tiresome antics didn't put him off. Very grateful to Stan for sparing us a Final involving that charmless individual.

Play like that in the Final and it should be a cracker!

Stan Wawrinka has ended Andy Murray French Open dreams winning three out of the five sets that was played,This was a much needed win for Wawrinka who had lost his last two games against Murray, there is no doubt that he will face Nadal who is currently one set up against Thiem and leading the second set.
Wawrinka vs Murray, superb game. Murray manages to win 2 set out in 3 sets. 4th he tried his level best, but Wawrinka played amazingly and won the 4th set. Last set Murray was tired, and Wawrinka won this set easily by 6-1. I thought Murray would come finals, but he missed one more chance. Yup Nadal is playing well now I think Wawrinka will face Nadal in finals.

That's a big match between Murray Vs Wawrinka. Finally Wawrinka moved to the final defeating Murray 3-2. In the last French open Wawrinka reached semi finals, but didn't progress to final. This year his play is better to defeat Murray which in most users view seems unexpected.

For today's semi-finals I see  favorites Nadal (which I'm sure will win the tournament) and Wawrinka.
Wawrinka came to the end of the tournament by improving his game and shape, winning easily against Cilic (only 7 games lost against Cilic).

Nadal vs. Thiem       WIN NADAL        at [email protected]
Wawrinka vs Murray WIN WAWRINKA at [email protected]

It seems an easy double-up
Interesting match going on between Murray and Wawrinka as both have won a set each . Wawrinka had good odds after the first set ( @2.1) and hence went for it , third set will be crucial.
Which site did you bet on to get such odds for the first set @2.1 for Stan Wawrinka?
I am just curious about it since the site I am on doesn't allow anymore bets placed after the matches have started.
So in other words. Looking for a site with live betting on multiple matches at the same time.
I am a former cloudbet customer so do not tell me to go there.
I am sour from that experience on my betting for live tennis matches with them.
Thank you if you can provide me with a good site other than the one I just mentioned.

Thiem took revenge on Novak Djokovic for debacle in Roma Masters. His game approach remind me a little on Federers game style, chip and charge and finishing points early with winners, running away from long rally points. Didn`t expect that at all. Congratulations for first semi finalists. And as I mention Stan the man is really on fire. My candidate for finale. Only reason why I think that he will have less chance to win this tournament is because he is not so great when he play with left handed top spin players(Nadal).

After 5 consecutive defeats Thiem finally won against Djokovic!
The game ended after the first set in which Djokovic was ahead of 4-2 and wasted 2 set points on 5-4. After losing the first set Djokovic disappeared from the match. At present, as his coach Agassi said, he is mentally weak. He needs to find a mental balance and new motivations.

Today I was surprised by Wawrinka who won quite clearly against Cilic with only 7 lost games.

Wawrinka, Nadal and Thiem have won all the sets played up to this point.

Great match b/w Djokovic vs. Thiem, I thought Thiem would give a good fight, but finally, Djokovic will win, but Thiem played unbelievable tennis today, Yes he took revenge on Djokovic today. Congratulation Thiem.

After a long time, Murray enters semifinals he won against K. Nishikori. 1st set he lost but next 3 set he played well. Now the semi final matches set Nadal vs. Thiem and Murray vs.  Wawrinka.

I read that Novak Djokovic is planning to take a break from tennis. Well for me it is a deserving rest if ever he wants to. I think he has been in top for so many years that is hard to stay on it for a long time. Sometimes our body needs time to heal as well. He will fall to No. 3 in the world rankings after his loss still not bad though. Although its frustrating to see him lost to Thiem.

Djokovic has been the most dominant tennis player since 2011, he has won 10 Grand Slams title. However, he has been undergoing a severe fall from his tennis stardom. I don't know if it has something to do with him separating from Boris Becker, or something is bothering him, mentally. If indeed he wants to take a some rest from tennis, I think this is about the right now. He's not doing very good and a rest might rejuvenate his body and his tennis career and bring back his old version.

Each and every big player goes through this phase , how they come back is what matters . Federer also took a break and came back stronger than ever , Nadal's injury gave him break that he needed and he is in ultimate form right now . I am sure Djoker will decide wisely.

It`s very hard to be motivated so much for so long time. It requires special way of life outside of tennis court and can be pretty exhausting. Djokovic had a quest, to win all the Slams and he did it. After that discharge emotionally and take a break from everything. After Rolan Garos he had couple of bad results, his fans wondered what is going on. Boris Beker said that he is not training enough and on the way he used to so as his coach he can`t do nothing, his hands are tied. From my point of view only motivation that can have now is Olympic gold medal. Yes, he has done so much in tennis but to take a break and then get back, I don`t know. Think that he would not be able to do that. But again, his decision. All the best for Djoker

I totally called Thiem's "well, not the straight 3-0 ML but at least to win 1-2 sets", a BIG game from thiem and a weak one from Djoko, I still remember when he used to roll easily over Thiem before.
Nadal is the top favorite now IMO, Thiem is also good. I don't see Murray winning French Open but nothing is predictable in Tennis.
Theim is in good form now, yesterday match is a good example of his form, but tomorrow he is going to play against Nadal. After came back to his injury he is playing amazing tennis. And in this tournament now he is the super favirate. I hope tomorrow we may get some unexpected result if Theim plays well or else suppose Nadal win the match then definitely he will win the Cup. Murray also has chance let's see how he will use this opportunity.

I like Halep ML and -1.5 sets today, the odds are decent as she is the better player IMO, however after my yesterday's djoko -2.5 bet, I feel much more reluctant to bet anything more than few microbitcoins, as the players change performances overnight apparently when I bet on them.

I am glad that Thiem won, it was totally an unexpected win and he clearly dominated the game, Djokovich is considering a break from tennis due to the shock loss, i think he should continue and not give up.
Theim is a good player. And he is young so he is only going to get better while his beaten opponent can only get his ego tarnished like it was early yesterday and you can see from his interview he knows he is going to give up his #2 ranking in the world to the next one in line to take it.
That is how tennis is.
You either produce when you are getting older like Federer has
OR
get brutally dispensed by a up and coming younger player who is only going to get better with more open finals matches under his belt as Theim has done to him for this french open.
