Royce's Merit Source Application

Guys Royse has applied for Merit source. You guys already know how helpful he is. If it wasn't for him then some of us still struggling to achieve FM, Junior, Member rank so please support this guy.
Great news. He deserves the merit source tag and I will be leaving him a post of support in the thread that you referenced in a bit. As one of my Bitcointalk cricket group pals, I will gladly support him.

Like Windies batsmen, Srilankan batsmen had some other plans as well Cheesy Inning and 65 runs defeat for them, now i feel that they were lucky to win first game and sharing 120 points with Kiwis.
I told Royse that the likelihood of a draw is minimal these days in tests and I was right though I still lost the bet(Bet on Sri Lanka). The odds were pretty good towards the end though, but I missed that opportunity.

Still so many overs to go but if someone can stick with N. Dickwella then I think draw is pretty easy for SI in this match.

This look strange IMO, In Competitive Series like Ashes Aus and Eng getting less points for each win and India got 60 points very easily against the Windies and chances are they are going to get 60 more points in the next match.

@onrise Agreed, but i do have some reservation regarding Man of the Match, it should go to any bowler (Ishant : 8 wickets and 19 useful runs as a tailender) not Batsman because it was easy wicket to bat on.

Poor West Indies. 37/7, Didn't expect it. None of the batsman got a 2 digits score. What a shame! West Indies certainly look for developing their test and ODI team, this team is really full of shit for both the format.

Windies played very poor cricket yesterday. During Indian batsmen batting pitch was looking dead for bowlers but When Windies came to bat of final inning bowl suddenly to move out of nowhere, Says a lot about Indian fast battery line up and Windies batting technique. At Start, I thought that Indians were one bowler short due to flat wicket (not so seaming wicket) but Windies batsmen and Indian bowlers had some other plans.

Srilankans are finding a way to lose 60 points in the Test Championship. They need to survive 39 overs and only 3 wickets left.

@Haunebu @Royce congrats guys for your wins.

Shocking to see how WI collapsed before putting any fight against India. They were playing test match but the shot selection was extremely poor and definitely the board will need to look as they will want their players to stay on the pitch as long as possible and get used to it for new players . It was one sided win for India where both batsman and bowlers made good contribution in the game .

A comfortable win for India and a very poor performance by WI who managed to score atleast 222 in the first innings. Roach performed the best for the team else they were losing the match for 50-51 runs. He atleast got them to 100 but they should stop embarrassing themselves now.

England too after their miserable first innings recovered (and what a way) in the second one. Stokes should move top the order now as he's the best batsmen and bowler for the team. Aus's miscalculation, unsuccessful reviews and umpires wrong decisions let them down. Now both teams have 1 win among 5 matches. They were lucky that rain did not ruin this one as they were close to winning the earlier one too but fell short of 1 day.

How much profit will you gain if you won all three bets ? Also, if you lost one of those three, will you get any amount ?
Thanks@JSRAW. I thought of placing them in an accumulator, but decided otherwise which turned out to be a good decision. I won 2 bets with great odds and am about to lose around 30% of my bet on Sri Lanka by hedging.

Srilanka 33/5 and lit look like NZ will easily win this match. Still two sessions remain in the match. After their first match win, i never expected Srilanka to play so badly.
Disappointed myself. I expected them to continue playing good Cricket, but they have let me down. I wonder why Karunaratne played lower down the order. Looks like New Zealand want to pack this one up asap.

Sri Lankan batting site is getting worst nowadays in all the formats. They have struggled facing a side most of the times who have bowlers with good experience. Anyway they still have a lead in this test series and they have survived well so far after they were down to 32/5 and played like nearly 30-35 overs adding up runs and losing only 2 wickets in that timeframe. Still so many overs to go but if someone can stick with N. Dickwella then I think draw is pretty easy for SI in this match.

Looks like I won 2 out of 3 bets in my 3 fold. Never expected England to win this one, but Stokes is something else this year. He was never this good before, but he has become the best player of England through hard work at the moment. I don't think England could have come this far if Starc and Smith were playing.

Also, loved the manner in which Bumrah(The destroyer) ripped through the West Indian batting lineup like it was nothing. Completely justifies the statement that Vivian Richards made about him recently.

You maybe right but who told Aussies to waste a review on a ball which was clearly Not Out. If Aussie had that review, they could have taken it.
At the end of the day, it is the result which matters the most and what do you say about the innings from stokes ?
You cannot deny that luck favors the brave.

Australia wasted a review and there is no doubt that it cost them the match. But the fact remains that Joel Wilson made a very poor decision, as it looked plumb in front of the stumps for me. You may find umpires giving not out in cases where the ball is hitting the off-stump or the leg-stump, but in this case it was clearly hitting the middle-stump. In the end, only the result matters as you said. No one cares whether they won the match fairly or not. And this gives advantage to teams such as England.

Just be fair with the umpires. They are also human beings. You know this decision can make or break the match for the home crowd. The match pressure and the crowd pressure can also effect on the umpire and he gave the benefit of the doubt in this last moment lbw case. You have just a fraction of a second to declare Out or not out.
I will still insist England win was due to great innings by the Stokes and not by the help of umpires.

What a game, Australia could never thought such a situation that will happen at the end of the match. Stokes proved his ability in all forms of cricket. How he played the match and took the team towards win is really perfect. He started slowly as a tortoise and got turned to be a storm at the end. His second second boundary was hit at 74 runs. With this we can see how hard he had kept himself in control and did the right thing at the right time understanding the wicket fall at the other side.

Damn ripper.... run out missed

72 runs partnership and Leech hit the most important run in his career.

Jeez..... And History is made, no one going to forget 2 match in their life.

World Cup Final and 2nd Test of 2019 Ashes.

Only one player, single handedly won the both games for England

I would have been happier if England had won both the matches, without help from the umpires. During the penultimate over, Stokes was clearly out LBW to Nathan Lyon. Fortunately for England, Joel Wilson refused to give him out and by then Australia had run out of reviews (they had wasted one review in the previous over). But still, it was a very poor decision from Joel Wilson and I can't see how anyone could rule that not out. Hawk-eye had the ball hitting the middle stump. So technically, Australia would have won the match by 1 run.

I don't want to explain what happened during the world cup final, but it was the one extra run awarded (6 runs were given instead of 5 after the ball deflected and reached the boundary rope) that helped England to take the super-over to tie. Else, NZ could have won by 1 run.

Australia had their chances to win the match but it wasn't to be. I can't believe Lyon missed that run out chance which would of sealed the win for Australia however that umpiring decision to not give the LBW was very bad as it was plum but again Australia have them self to blame on reviewing a poor decision with the ball clearly going down the leg side. Like I said before the series started I think England will win the Ashes and now this can become a reality as they will have all the momentum going into the fourth test match and will be hard to stop.

What a test match we had witnessed it. Something magical just happened where England fought back hard and rightly came back in the test match and also in the test series as well. Smith difference can be seen and with 1-1 in the test series the next both test match now become interesting .
