What the hell is going on? How often do you see good batting from the lower-order batters when the top order actually fails? We have seen such a thing a couple of times already in the same series. A 55-run partnership in 10th wicket, what? Indian lower-order batters were doing the same thing the other day. It seems like Aussie bowlers want to show India they can also bat. or what? What an incredible series it has been.
I thought India would have a chance to chase this score when I saw Australia was struggling with the bat. But now, it feels like Australia has enough runs on the board already. Let's what India decides tomorrow after clearing up the last wicket.
It seemed a bit strange to me that the Australians would lose their wickets so quickly in the second innings, to be honest it was unexpected for me.
But anyway, that is also part of the game and that is why we will enjoy this fourth Test series. Although I thought that Australia would score another 400+ runs in this match and set a target of 500 for the Indian team, it is no longer possible to do so as they only have one wicket to go.
Anyway, even then, the Australian team has only one wicket I think there will late at least 350 Runs from the Indian team. And that would be fair enough for winning against the Indian team.
So far Australia has taken the lead by 333 runs which means that it is very likely that Australia will be all out in the first session of the fifth day and India will have the opportunity to bat for the whole day.
India will want to draw the match as there is a possibility of India going all out with aggressive batting and on the other hand if for any reason India's batting goes awry then there will be no option but to lose.
Moreover, Australia has taken a lead of 333 runs which is not enough to win against India but if India takes chances and can bat in ODI style then India has a chance to qualify for the WTC. If there is a chance then maybe India will try to win the match.
NB. South Africa already qualified.
