We have seen in previous matches also Indian team scored 400 plus runs with ease their batting line up is very strong especially their young players are in great form. England scored 353 runs in the first innings of the fourth Test and could have scored more if their players had been able to provide decent company with Joe Root. Joe Root has single-handedly scored 122 runs for their side and remains unbeaten.

India have scored 39 runs for one wicket in 12 overs in the first innings in the fourth Test match and they are trying to build runs slowly.Their team's best batsman Rohit Sharma is already out.Now what England need to do is to put on their best bowling performance and take wickets of Indian players at regular intervals if they want to survive in this match.

If you see second test victory of India then it's only because of individual batting performance. Jaiswal scored double century in first innings of second test while no other batsmen was able to score 40 runs. In second innings of same test it was Gill who scored a hundred while second highest was 45. Now Gill and Jaiswal are batting once again and they are scoring runs. England must get them out before one of them score a hundred.

What's with Shubhman Gill? Day by day his confidence to play any ball is decorating. I saw him bat for few overs and he is niether being defensive or agressive, he is busy dogging the ball. On the other side Jaiswal is full of confidence and has an agressive approach against bowlers. He is maintaining a strike rate of above 60 whereas Gill has a strike rate of 30. Did Gill forget he is playing in 2024 and not is an era of Sunil Gavaskar or Ravi Shastri.

353 is quite a competitive score and England dressing room must be very much relieved after scoring that much runs. Now its up to English bowlers to take Indian team under pressure and they already got Rohit Sharma out but still lots of batting to come. Not to forget that Jaiswal has scored 2 double hundreds in his last two tests and if he can repeat that performance today then England will be under huge pressure.

I support your reasoning, pressure has been an issue. Still these new batters have overcome the impossible with patience and skills. I think they will be able to mange this session well. Jaiswal has shown that he cannot be taken for granted. Gill has found his lost form and he has played well in the series. The problem is with Patidar he has not been at his best and has failed in the last two matches. I think 353 runs can be chased by the youngsters and let's hope they do it comfortably.

I will not disagree with you, because If we see the past match performance between England and India. Then we will see that India has the ability to cross 400 runs. Moreover, out of the three matches so far, India has won two of them and scored more than 400 runs in one and nearly 400 in the other. But in the first match, England was able to win by batting first and in this match they have taken the batting first, so I would say they have a chance.
Still, I would like to say now that India is more likely to win. Apart from that I don't think they are under too much pressure given their one wicket with still plenty of time left and nine more wickets in hand.

This tbh; Indian players are good no doubt but they come under pressure easily, forget their skills and lose. This was apparent even in u-19 wc, irrelevant but I felt like saying it anyway, it's in roots.

The match might look in balance but the Indian team could go into depression if England managed to cross 350 or touch the 400 mark. Indian batters are in form and one could expect good response from them but we shouldn't forget it's a very inexperienced batting lineup.

In the fourth match of the Test series between England and India, England scored 353 runs for 10 wickets in the first innings. The England team's first innings performance seems to have the potential to do something good in this fourth test match. England players Root and Robinson played very well in the first innings. With Root's 122 and Robinson's 58, England "managed" to put up a good score in the first innings. Now India is batting in the first innings of the second day. India team batted and lost one wicket at the beginning of the game. At the beginning of the game, the bowlers of the England team, their bowling power is being felt a bit. Now if England team bowlers can bowl strong and resist Indian team batsmen. Then the England team will be ahead by many runs.

England was on the first day 112 for 5 wickets and from there they made 346 runs after losing 7 wickets. This shows how well Root and Robinson have been playing from the first day to the second day. They have already created the highest-run partnership for the 8th wicket and are still going strong. Indian bowling unit is trying their level best to break this partnership but they are not being effective. India is missing Bumrah as he possesses the ability to break such partnerships.
In the end, England were all out for 353 runs. England managed to score 353 runs due to Joe Root's excellent performance, he remained unbeaten on 122 runs. If Joe Root doesn't do well then it would not be possible for England to score big. Ravindra Jadeja bowled very well for India, taking 4 wickets. India came down to bat and lost 1 wicket in the beginning and got under pressure. Rohit Sharma is out for just 2 runs. So far India has collected 26 runs with the loss of 1 wicket.

The first 10 or 15 overs will be crucial for the Indian batters due to the new ball and after that things will get normalize. Again Rohit failed to give a good start to the Indian batting. Jaiswal is taking all the heat at the moment while Gill is busy relaxing. If Ravindra Jadeja had not taken the wicket of Robinson then things would have been quite different for India now. Jaiswal needs 139 runs to get to his 1000 runs in test cricket, I am sure he knows that and he will try to get those runs.

Jaddu derailed the English innings by taking 4 wickets with a great economy while Ashwin was pretty mid so far in this match. Root must feel sad since some of the tail-enders weirdly got out due to reckless shots.

Am expecting India to give England a small lead in the first innings even though Rohit departed early. Let's see what happens.

Tail wagging is never a good site if it's against you because it breaks the morale of the team and every shoulder falls. It was a similar kind of story during Root-Robison's partnership.

Rohit is gone and now India needs to climb a mountain with an inexperienced batting lineup, but make no mistake almost every new kid is in good form with the bat but it would be another test of their temperament, hope everything goes well.

Yesterday we saw Joe Root and Ben Foakes' 113-run partnership leading England to a big collection. These two batsmen have performed very well. Even though Ben Foakes is dismissed for 47 runs, Root is still at the crease. He is batting responsibly.

The England team has already collected 75 runs from the Root-Robinson duo. England are batting very well at the start of the second day. The team scored 320 runs and lost 7 wickets. This is a good enough collection on this pitch. Indian batsmen will be under pressure if they can collect more than 400 in the first innings. Root and Robinson will need to play well if England want to collect big. If this pair breaks I think England's innings will come to a quick end.

In the first innings of India vs England fourth test match when England won the toss and decided to bat. England team lost five wickets to collect 112 runs. But England batsman Root batted very well. Root has already scored a century in the first innings. If this batsman Root can bat responsibly in the second innings, then maybe he can give India a lead of around 400 runs in the fourth test match, then the game will be competitive. Because India is undoubtedly a strong team and they perform better on their home soil, the lead of 400 runs will not be too much, so if England can bowl control, maybe the lead of 400 runs will be perfect for a fair fight.

England recovered from the first session crisis and it doesn't happen with their basball approach but only due to the traditional test batting technique to keep playing and playing and let the opposition to wait things to happen. Thaat is what Root is known for doing and it really helped today as well for ENG or else they could have been all out for 250 or something like that.

Still Indian batting is in complete form, so they will also be ready to put up high scores.

England's quality of play today is looking very good. England surprisingly won the 1st match of the Test series against India but lost the next 2 matches. and in the 4th match, England's performance is very good  They scored 302 for 7 in the first innings, not a bad score  It is a big thing to score like that against India even though England play much better cricket. If England wins this match, then both teams will win equally 2-2, so the match is very important for England
England trailed early in the day yesterday but Joe Root scored a personal 106 to take his team to 300+ on day one. Root & Foakes added 113 runs in the sixth wicket partnership after 112 runs fell by 5 wickets. Tom Hartley couldn't last long with Root for the seventh wicket after Foakes was out for 47 off jadeja. Robinson was very good with Root in the end yesterday for the eighth wicket. India debutant Akash Deep picked up three wickets yesterday. If Joe Root & Ollie Robinson continuously build up their partnership today, the match could be tough for India. And soon the second day game will start, let's enjoy the second day game.

India vs England, 4th Test match has starred and England opt bat by winning the toss. England performance wasn't much good in the beginning. 1st wicket gone at 47-1 runs and then 3wickets gone at 57-3 runs. Ollie Pope, Ben Stokes didn't performance as expected. Even when they lost their 5th wickets at 112-5, it sounds England was about to all out soon. But Joe Root (*106) just hold the match by his skill, patient and extra ordinary performance and Ollie Robinson(*31) is supporting him as a partner. This is how England team made 302-7 runs in 90 Overs and they have still chance to more some more runs if both player can stay longer in field by their performance and effort

The match might look in balance but the Indian team could go into depression if England managed to cross 350 or touch the 400 mark. Indian batters are in form and one could expect good response from them but we shouldn't forget it's a very inexperienced batting lineup.

Winning a test match with 400+ runs is good but I definitely like the last day dramatic wins and this test can surely be such one of them if both teams fight as hard as they can. Joe Root came in action and he has more avg in the pre bazball era and I think management gave freedom to play his natural game in this match which turned out to be a success.

Anything above 350 is decent score and we have to remember the fact India has to play the 4th innings.
