Ravindra Jadeja gets out for a duck, followed by Khan, 2 in 2 for England and the test is on! India still needs 65 runs with 5 wickets in hand. Seems like it should be chasable but looking at how England toppled, it doesn't seem easy.

Don't forget Patidar he also got out for a duck. Gill is still trying and Jurel has joined him on the pitch. India still trail by 50 runs, which is not that big but the problem is that they have lost 5 wickets. Any more wickets if they lose then it would be tough for them to win the match. Again a good comeback from England they got all big names for duck and if they can get another wicket then they can level the series.

On the third day in England, the team did not score too many runs due to which their chances of victory are very slim. Scoring only 145 runs and losing all the wickets, England team had a poor batting performance in the third day's play, this poor batting might cost them the match.
You said  right England did not perform well in their second innings.  India need only 150 runs to get this innings and it is quite easy for India.  India are now speeding towards victory in just a few hours.  Before the England players could do anything India's bowlers put them in trouble. The pitch condition is also helpful for India and makes their win strong. Rohit Sharma  and YJaiswal are playing very carefuly and continue their innings without losing a wicket Rohit Sharma made 24 run in 27 ball and y Jaiswal made 16 run in 21 balls .
We saw that in the first innings of the fourth Test match between India and England, England's batting line-up was under a bit of pressure early on but Joe Root handled the pressure and batted well. Joe Root's brilliant century in their first innings saw England score 353 runs. However in England's second innings their batting lineup was destroyed by India's two spin bowlers Ravichandran Ashwin and Kuldev Yadav who took a total of 9 wickets. Out of which Ashwin took five wickets and Yadav four. With England batting badly in their second innings, the target for India is just 190 runs of which India have already collected 83 runs without losing any wickets and India need only 109 run to win.
England is a very good team in the first innings England was much ahead of India but in the second innings England played very badly due to which it looked like England was going to lose the match.  Because in the first innings they scored 353 runs but in the second innings they scored only 145 runs.  India need only 96 runs but they have 9 wickets so it is almost certain that they will be able to collect this 96 runs.  So I think India is going to be the winner of today's match

It was a great opportunity for England to level the series at 2-2. They did well in the first two days, when they had India at 177/7 against England's first innings total of 353. At this point, I thought that England could have got a lead of at least 120-150. But then the partnership between Dhruv Jurel and Kuldeep Yadav took the match away from them. Even after Kuldeep got out, Akash Deep added 40 valuable runs for the 9th wicket along with Jurel.

IMO, it's more important for tail enders to keep their wicket safe especially when there is proper batter on other side, Akash Deep added 9 runs of 28 balls, it was ok contribution and wouldn't have minded even if it was 0, and he got out trying to defend too which was sensible compared how from England's side Bashir got out trying to go for big hit in first innings despite Joe Root hanging on other end.

I watched videos of many coaches who only advices their bowlers/tail enders to consume atleast 30-40 balls and scoring runs is not what they except from them and Indian tail enders doing the job for years while middle orders collapses.

India is cruising toward the win and scoring in more comfortable way than ENG expected. Jaiswal got out but he has already done the job and Rohit completed his 50 too.

Now India just way 95 runs away from winning the series.

And the England captain made the mistake by under-utilizing the pacers (James Anderson and Ollie Robinson).

Indian spinners were successful and destroyed England batting in second innings, Stokes might have went with spinners with same agenda.

I wanted to see Anderson complete his 700 wickets in this series, at first I thought it'll be an easy feat but now I doubt as in this match it seems unlikely to happen and there is question mark whether he will play next game.

In just 24 hours from being on the verge of collapse the Indian team changed the situation and is now slowly inching towards another victory. To an extent Dhruv Jurel and Kuldeep Yadav made this happen. Jurel 90 runs to the scoreboard and Yadav's contribution through bat and taking 4 wickets change the match. England had a good opportunity to win the 4th test but poor batting is the reason they are in this situation.

In the 4th Test match of India vs England team, India team came to the field to bat in the 1st Innings and scored 307 runs after losing 10 wickets in 103.2 overs. India team was 46 runs behind the England team in the 1st Innings. Today, the England team came to the field to bat again in the 2nd Innings.  13 runs and no wicket has been lost so far. Let's see how many runs the England team can score in the 2nd Innings.
I don't expect England team to be exposed in such brutal way against same opponent where they scored almost 300+ in thier first innings, but I think I wasn't aware of indian mystery spinners like Kuldeep and R.Ashwin. anyway but now looking things completely in favour of indian team because they have plenty of wickets in hand with quality batters and just required 150 around target to chased it down in order to won the series by 3-1. One advice indian batter should follow that don't try to be over smart don't repeat previous innings mistakes and don't underestimate England spinners because they has ability to change entire situation like previous and can level the series.

One cannot expect a good performance from England players on a spin friendly pitch. However, since the team performed very well in the first innings, we thought that the team could score more than 200 runs in the second innings as well. But England lost all the wickets to collect 145 runs. The team could not even provide the target of 200 runs. Even if the pitch is bowling friendly, it is not possible to win against an experienced team like India by giving such a small target.

Batting on a target of 192 runs, India collected 40 runs without losing any wicket. India's two openers scored 40 runs in just 8 overs. India need only 152 runs to win.

Scoring only 145 runs and losing all the wickets, England team had a poor batting performance in the third day's play, this poor batting might cost them the match. But the Indian team was in great bowling form due to which they quickly took the wickets and overwhelmed England. England played well on the first day but they did not perform so well on the third day. England batting on the third day did not manage to give much lead due to which India is expected to win comfortably. India scored 40 runs in the third day's play with no wickets falling so far. Only 157 more runs can fill the lead given by England and the Indian team will achieve another great victory in the Test match.

Kuldeep impressed me more than Ashwin because he was turning the ball like crazy while Ashwin became the highest wicket-taker in India.

Two are different kind of spinners and generally wrist spinners can spin a lot than the finger spinners that is why you saw Kuldeep Yadav was turning balls more angle but each kind of spin has their own benefits which respective to the pitch conditions.

Who really impressed with the batting skills of Kuldeep than his bowling in this match,? Grin

Kuldeep impressed me more than Ashwin because he was turning the ball like crazy while Ashwin became the highest wicket-taker in India.

On field umpire gave him not out and DRS showed 2 red (Impact + Hitting the wicket), the umpire had to reverse his decision. It's hardly an unlucky incident but yeah from Joe Root's perspective he was not out, he has that right because every batter thinks he/she is always not out.
I don't know. The ball seemed to have been 50% outside the line and 50% inside the line which is why the decision was actually left to the tech which decided to rule in favor of the Indians.

In the first innings against India, England ended the game with a lead but in the second innings, England disappointed the fans. England were bowled out for just 145 in the second innings which was a real surprise. In the first innings where they ended the first innings ahead of India despite a bad situation, I cannot account why they performed so badly in the second innings. Due to their poor performance in the second innings, the series may be confirmed for India with one match in hand. India need just 152 runs to win this Test match with ten valuable wickets still in hand. India will reach their target before the end of the first session of the fourth day. Congratulations in advance to Team India for winning the series with one match in hand.

India got a decent start, not losing a wicket was the biggest positive but the match is not finished and we've seen some fine collapse in this series from both teams but still it's India's game to lose as they have their nose ahead.

It's hard to lose this game for India from this stage, at last the Indian spin attack came to the party when it's needed and the inexperienced ENG giving freebies to Hitman to score some boundaries. Tomorrow is not going to be easy but if the required run was around 200 then India might stuck without knowing attack or defence but only 152 needed to so it mitigate the psychological barrier and give the freedom to play according to their ability.

Jurel-Kuldeep partnership sealed the deal for India if you ask me. I expected England to collapse in the second innings thanks to the fab trio(KD, Ash, Jaddu) and that's exactly what happened.

Root was a bit unlucky though since the actual decision was 50:50. India pretty much won the series already with a test remaining.

India took control in the second innings. Indian spinner bowlers are bowling brilliantly. Ravichandran Ashwin took three wickets in the second innings of England's top order batsmen. Kuldeep Yadav destroyed the middle order batsmen. Kuldeep Yadav has taken four wickets so far. England took 139 runs for 8 wickets. Zak Crawley scored 66 in the second innings.12 more overs will be played today, it is becoming very difficult for England to survive two wickets at this moment. I think England can't take a lead of more than 220-230 runs.
England batted well in the first innings but could not bat well in the second innings. England scored 353 runs in the first innings but were all out for just 145 runs in the second innings. In the second innings the spinner bowlers of India performed brilliantly and all the wickets were taken by the spinner bowlers. India scored 40 runs without losing a wicket at the end of the third day in the second innings. We will see the result of this test match tomorrow. India need 152 runs to win which they can easily win.
From 110/3 to 145/10, it's disappointing to see England's performance. Once again, England's batsmen disappointed. They missed a great chance after their strong first innings. India's lower order performed well, and then their spinners took control. England needs to quickly dismiss India's batsmen. but it feels like England let a good opportunity slip away. India is clearly the stronger team in India. This series might end up 4-1 in India's favor.

2nd inning batting of England crumbled just like it did on the third test. Ravichandran Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav destroyed the batting line up of England. Even though Zak Crawley  made a 60 for England, they never had a working partnership and the wickets kept falling. It would be a easy walk for India to finish the match before midday of 4th day. With this India would have won the test series with one match still left to be played. All of it still being the part of world test championship. The series itself has been an interesting one for a Test as all of the game ended in a result mostly on the 4th day.

Holy cow! I guess the Indians now have a shot here, they only need one good knock and they should be fine.

Still, this is a tricky target on a challenging pitch and the remaining 20-30 minutes of the period would be very challenging for batters, no batter enjoys batting towards the end of any session.

Hope, this period goes wicketless for India.

Ashwin 5, Kuldeep 3, Jadeja 1
The trio contributed to England being bowled out for 145 in the second innings and shared ten wickets apiece. Unfortunately, no Seamers were allowed to take wickets here. I didn't understand that England were bowled out for just 145 runs in the second innings while they played an amazing innings of 353 runs in the first innings. The result of this test already everyone has guessed that England is definitely going to lose this test. India have two more days left where they need to collect only 152 runs.
