No, not really. Bairstow performed exceptionally well under the new regime (Stokes +Baz) and he was instrumental in their success but he never had any sort of success in India and so far completely failed with the bat. In his last 11 tests in India, he has a mediocre average of 25-ish. They are still backing him tho.

Another debut for India in this series. Seamer Akas Deep is in.

England has toured India England is performing as a visiting team against India then it is natural that India will perform better than England. India are performing in their own conditions as well as in support of India and the players have a good idea of the wickets of the venues they are playing in so it goes without saying that the Indian bowlers will have an added advantage over England. Although India is in a good position, England team is not in a good position at the moment in this series. England won their first Test match but lost their next two matches. Due to which the Indian team is still ahead of England. England must win the fourth Test against India if they want to keep their dream of winning this series alive and they have no other option.And if England lose to India in the fourth Test they will lose the series. England need to improve not only their batting but also their batting, bowling and fielding so that they can put up a strong fight against India.

Well, Grandpa is about to turn 42 soon. Already featured in 2 back to back test matches and playing 3rd on the trot. He bowled 73 overs in the last 2 test matches and 38 overs came in the last test.

In contrast, Bumrah is 30 yo and bowled almost 81 overs in the last 3 tests and taking a break.

Fair enough, he's shy of 4 wickets from coveted 700 wickets milestone, that might be the reason he's going to continue in 4th test.

Also, I'm seeing rain might spoil the match tomorrow.

Robinson and Bairstow both are there, Robinson is replacement for Mark Wood, and on England's spinners tbh, I do not find either of them that good.

True, India usually announce playing XI on toss, and it's more reliable that way, avoids last minute changes.

The 4th test match started from tomorrow, India already leads the series by 2-1 by Winning the third test match by a huge margin. I think Indian team more confident about winning the fourth test match also and they have more advantage to playing at home ground while England announced their strong team Jimmy Anderson is also back in the playing Eleven and they will try to win it and strong comeback in the fourth test match against India. England only win the first test match by just short of 28 runs otherwise india won the three test matches.
