The way things are looking, India will give lead of 550+ runs, it looks impossible for England to win this match, the least they can do is to draw the game and not the throw away their wickets.

Anderson's is getting thrashed hard in this match compared to 2nd, Jaiswal is on way to 2nd double century, what a find for India!

It seems like Sarfraz is trying to imitate Jaiswal instead of playing his natural game. I was hoping this is chance for Sarfraz to make 1st test century but India may declare before that, provided he doesn't get out beforehand, of course, he got lucky in sweep.

Jaiswal on a rampage back to back sixes against Anderson. He is nearing his double century and is in total control of the game. India needs another 24 runs to get to the 500 runs mark. I think the management would wait till Jaiswal gets his double century and the declare the innings. What a gem of a batter Jaisawal has been in this test series if he gets another test double century. He has already hit the maximum number of sixes in any innings by an Indian batter record with 10 sixes in total.

India will not lose this match. If England can bat well, the match will be a draw, otherwise India will win this match.

England's bowlers are not able to take Jaiswal's wicket. Unbeaten Jaiswal scored 149 runs. India scored 314 runs with the loss of just 4 wickets and now has a huge lead of 440 runs. It is likely that the Indian team will declare the innings before the end of the second session. India will give the England team the opportunity to bat at least 4 sessions. If not, it will not be easy for Indian bowlers to take 10 wickets of England. India is not playing this match with the aim of a draw, they will try their best to win.
A draw is on the cards, but I don't see it happening thanks to England's Bazball approach where many batsmen like Root are carelessly throwing away their wickets just to keep the scoreboard ticking.

I feel that India will probably decimate them by 200+ runs at this stage helping them take the lead in the series. Let's see what happens.

The lead is of 393 runs and Jaiswal and Sarfraz can add 100 more runs to the lead in a short time.
India have already reached a strong position as they have given the England team a lead of 440 runs so far. The Indians still have six wickets in hand and even they have not declared the innings yet, maybe they will aim to give the England team a target of 500 runs.

Indian team's young batsman Jaiswal's batting is really impressive. He played his career best innings in the Test series between India and England when he scored 209 runs.Batting badly in the first innings of the third Test match, but batting brilliantly in the second innings, even now he is unbeaten on 149 runs. Jaswal and Sarfraz Khan are currently unbeaten for the Indian team and these two may extend the Indian innings much longer.

India came out to bat on day four and their batting performance was outstanding. In today's match, the way the Indian team is giving the lead to the England team, it can be expected that they will definitely give a target of 600+ runs by looking at their game performance. Yashasvi Jaiswal is having an amazing batting performance, he has scored a century and he is batting attractively for a double century, currently he has collected 149 runs. Sarfaraz Khan and Yashasvi Jaiswal have formed a great partnership which has helped the Indian team to post huge scores. Although India have lost 4 wickets at the moment, it is expected that they will give a huge lead to the England team on the fourth day. Right now India's batting performance is really interesting, we can say for sure that England team may not be able to collect this lead in the next innings, right now India's lead is 440 runs.

Well not really, Jaddu is a left arm and when he got injured Axar came as his replacement, another left arm spinner.

Sundar is offie similar to Ashwin but his bowling is not up to the mark, he needs to work hard on his bowling if he wants to cement his position. Kuldeep is a wrist spinner and attacking one, if he's contributing with the bat in the down the order then it's a plus.

Not many offspinners can be found in the Indian talent hub. Sundar was brought in as a replacement for Ashwin but lacks the skills that he possesses. I do not think they as in the team management would make any changes. Gill missing his century and Jaiswal is back on the field, looking again good with the bat. It once flicked into my mind that Kuldeep might get his half-century today unfortunately he also got out. The lead is of 393 runs and Jaiswal and Sarfraz can add 100 more runs to the lead in a short time.

Kuldeep did come as a nightwatchman but ladka looking good, he always had a defensive game but he's showing some hitting skill as well which is not too bad. I believe he should start working hard on his batting considering Jaddu and Ashwin won't be playing for a long time.

For Jadeja, Washington Sundar is proper replacement, for Ashwin yes, Kuldeep could take his place after honing his batting skills.

BTW, another unfortunate run-out and Gill misses his hundred. England must be happy with this happening.

@Sithara Jaiswal is fit to bat again. He was retired hurt, not retired out. Also, reports are coming up that Ashwin could join today and could be in action right away.

Actually they are three down. Yashasvi Jaiswal is unlikely to bat again, as he is suffering from back spasms. And in quick succession, they lost another wicket when Rajat Patidar was nabbed by Tom Hartley. As of now, their two strike bowlers (Hartley and Root) have picked up one wicket each. If James Anderson and Mark Wood can support them, then there is a chance that the target can be brought down to 400-450. Even 400 can be a near impossible task, given the spin-friendly conditions at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium.

Jaiswal won't be able to make a come back and that will not be an issue. Patidar getting out cheaply in the first and in the second innings will not help him in his career graph. Gill is batting well and he should be able to get his second century in this series which is a good sign. India already has a lead of 340 runs adding another 160 runs before day 4 ends will be sufficient for the Indian team. The bowling unit got a small setback due to Ashwin leaving the third test but Rohit was able to utilize Shiraj yesterday which helped the Indian side to make a comeback. I think the Indian team is now in a good position to control the outcome of this test match.

India is looking comfortable on the day 03 of the Rajkot test. They lead by 332 runs and still they have 8 wickets left in the 2nd innings. I think the Indian team will have to decide as to when they will declare this innings. I guess they will love to give a lead of 450 runs and declare the innings somewhere after the lunch and before the tea break and this will give them a little over 4 sessions to bowl the England team out.

Yashasvi Jaiswal was looking good but he had to retired hurt at 104 runs. Since then Shubman Gill has taken the role to keep the innings smooth but today I guess the intentions on the Indian batsmen would be to play hard at the ball and make as many runs as possible using fewer balls. They may tend to play the innings as a T20 one and not a test match one. By the way, Shubman Gill was out on a duck in the first innings, so maybe that's the reason he is playing cautiously here in the 2nd innings.

Gill scored a century at Visakhapatnam and going good in second innings. He need to bring consistency in his performance, if he keep playing like that then soon she will be axed from the team. Indian team got a lead of 126 runs in first innings and on stumps day 3 they are favourite for this test. In second innings, India score is 196 and they have still 8 wickets in hand. India will give target of over 400 run which won't be easy to chase.
Getting a century in a test match is a big deal and shows he a good player. Shubham Gill has talent and can help the team do well in the future. In tis test match India did well in the first innings and is doing well in the second innings too. India has made 196 runs and 8 wickets left in the second innings and leading with 322 runs. This means they might win the test match. It's exciting to see what will happen next.

England won the first test match and India won the second test match now the third test match is going on where the third day's play is already over.
The runs that India scored in the first innings England did not do their best in the first innings but they were all out earlier and India came back into batting in the second innings. In the second innings, India batted again and managed to score 196 runs for 2 wickets so far. India is still 322 runs ahead of England, the result of this match will be decided in two days, India may declare the innings by another 150 runs to decide the result of this match. If India declares the innings by 150 more runs, the target for England will be 470 plus runs. It will be difficult for England to score 470 runs against India. In the current position of India, the possibility of India going to this match is high.

In India vs England match, it seems all of j Indian batsman are in their forum and that's why the able to record a lots of runs. In 1st innings, Ravindra Jadeja and Rohit Sharma have done their century. Even Sarfaraz Khan did 62 runs which was also close enough. And Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal failed to runs in 1st innings but they already proved themselves again in 2nd innings where Yashasvi Jaiswal already done his century and Shubman Gill have done 66 and way to. Century. Although can't predict what will happened tomorrow. England performed avarage in my view cause Ben Duckett alone did more than 153+. I don't think he could do well again in 2nd innings. And this time, i predict that england will score lower runs than their 1st innings

Happy to see Gill is getting some runs and contrasting approach from his 1st and 2nd innings that is really the difference brought the performance.

India is in a position that they can't lose this match from this point, so tomorrow they will come and starts scoring runs at fast pace and probably let England to survive for the 4 and half sessions which is not possible with bazball on 5th day pitch. I hope they don't mind missing Ash in batting but definitely his absence may hurt.

After that century, Gill started with no confidence at all in the 1st inning of this test match which really surprised me.

So far he gave performance in terms of numbers and won't likely he will be removed at all comparing the other middle order batsmen like Patidar who just keep giving his wickets away every time. I guess team will be tempted to add another new player too in the place of Patidar.

In Search of Incredible
Fairly good chance for India to set up a target over 500 and get England to bat over a day and a half and try to defend. Would be a tough task on day 5 pitch and against Indian spinners.
India has already taken a lead of 322 runs with 8 wickets in hand. I won't say it is enough as the pitch still looks good for batting. But the condition of the pitch becomes difficult for batting on the day 4 or day 5 in test match (unless the pitch is completely in favour of batting). England may follow their Bazball mode from the start if India gives a target above 500, and allow them to bat one and a half days.
