Bairstow needs to sit out, he has done nothing in this series. I'd say same for Root too but he can get important breakthroughs, and his name may give psychological assurance to the teammates so I guess it's alright. Anderson on his way to 700 wickets, but ineffective in this match.

Hoping to see at least one game with full 5 day play in remaining matches. England disappointed so much today.

England are out of this test match. They are 50/7 in the fourth innings, chasing a humungous target of 557 runs. Indian spinners come to the party in the 4th innings. I think today will be the last day of this test match.
Jaiswal played a blinder in the 3rd innings; what a talent. Unlucky for Gill, he got out after scoring 91 runs. Sarfaraz also did well and played with positive intent. I think this is the first time an opponent declared the innings since the start of the Baz-Ball era.

The England team has faced a batting disaster. After India set a huge target of 557 runs, I was sure that England would not win. Even then I thought England would be able to collect something like 2500-300 runs. But scoring 100 runs is challenging for England right now. England lost the ninth wicket for 91 runs.

Jadeja is bowling very well in the second innings. The pitch is also helping the spinners. Jadeja bowled 11 overs, conceded only 20 runs, and picked up four wickets. Kuldeep Yadav also picked up 2 wickets and Aswin took 1 wicket. England will probably lose their last wicket today.

Has India unearthed a gem? At the age of 22, he makes a world record in Cricket and has a long career ahead of him. He might have also tied for the most sixes in an innings, in a test match(12 sixes). Could've broken it if he kept on batting. India are cruising into a comfortable win with England still need 475 runs and all they are left with is 3 wickets.

They said it is a batting pitch and both teams will get good runs on this pitch. Yes, it is a batting pitch and only Indian batters got good runs while England batters are struggling. 5 wickets gone before the day ended and situation of England is going from bad to worse. I was not expecting such a bad batting from the English batters. The wickets are coming easily for Indian bowlers and Ashwin is still not playing. Another wicket and the game is over for England as after this pair they only have bowlers.

Decimated! 28-4, Rohit should have let batting continue until Sarfraz got his century or got out. Stokes-Root is last pair England can put some hope on, though I feel England has already lost this game.
Despite giving England two chances in the second innings, it is not possible to avoid defeat in this match. There is still over 20 overs left in the fourth day in the second innings and if India can get the spin attack right then England are likely to be all out today. Joe Root and Ben Stokes have a partnership of 21 runs so far with no wickets falling after 28 runs.

Kuldeep Yadav comes to the Attack.

Jaswal's batting performance seems to have a spring breeze now.Who knew that this young budding player would write his name in the record books for India.Jaswal became the second Indian player to score two consecutive double centuries in a Test series. Jaswal is unbeaten on 214 runs in the second innings of the third Test match, his other teammate Sarfraz Khan is also unbeaten on 68 runs.

India declared the second innings of the third Test match at 430 runs, resulting in a target of 530 runs for the England team. The England team needs to overcome a mountain of runs to win this Test match. This test match is getting tougher and tougher for the England team.
Jaiswal brilliant batting performance in second inning of test match they scored double century 214 runa and remain unbeaten in this inning and indja delacre the inning at 430/4d. India is on top postion right now because India needs 6 more wickets to win this test game and lead the series by 2-1. England down the forth wickets 49/4 at the third sessionwin  of Day 4. England needs 508 runs and one more day left in this test it's seems like India will win test match easily.

Okay, ladies and gents. We have reached a pre BAZBALL era where England were quite familiar with 18/2 scoreline, now it's only fair if Root get his century, he's too good player and have been silient in this tour with the bat.

Fingers cross for him and wont mind a bit if he gets a ton and shut up his haters, mostly retired english players and media.
4 wickets gone the English middle order isn't in its best form. Root is still batting but a century from him is doubtful and we may see him getting out today. He is out of form plus he has hurt his finger so it's not that easy for him. I was listening to the English commentators and they said that this team will try to chase those runs. For now it looks completely opposite they should stop thinking about winning the test and concentrate on drawing it.

We never expect such bad batting from England's experienced batsmen. India played well, but still thought we would enjoy a competitive match. But the match became completely one-sided due to the bad batting of England's batsmen.
No one except Ben Duckett batted well in the first innings. England's top order is batting badly in the second innings as well. England lost 4 batsmen to collect 28 runs and now England has collected only 46 runs. I do not see any possibility of the match being a draw. It seems that the England team will be defeated by a big margin of 300-350 runs. England are now behind by 511 runs.

In the third test match between India vs England, India batted brilliantly in the first innings. Maintaining its consistency, batted brilliantly in the second innings. Yashasvi Jaiswal did not bat that well in the first innings and was dismissed for just 10 runs. But in the third test match, he batted brilliantly in the second innings. This player is unbeaten with 214 runs off 236 balls. The way Yashasvi Jaiswal has batted, it seems like he has done an ODI performance. The way the England team is batting, it looks like they are going to lose the third Test against India by a huge margin. But if any of England's players can bat responsibly then the result of the match may be different but India will have more chances to win. The current score of the England team is 33 runs for 4 wickets in 14 overs.

^^ The match is done n dusted already but I still would like to see Root doing a hard yard and score a ton.

A lot of people here in this thread kept repeating that Test cricket is dying and I've said every single time that as far as India is concerned, just follow the media right deals if you want to judge the health of Test cricket.

Right now more than 500 million live viewers watching a test match, thanks to JIO.

Early wickets are coming easy for India. The first one was a run out of Duckett because of good wicket keeping of Jurel and the second one of Crawley due to a good bowling by Bhumrah. Both in form batters for England are now out. The middle order has been seen struggling in the previous test matches and the last innings. I doubt they would be ablento stay on the pitch for long as soon as the spinners start bowling. The rough patches on the pitch would be the areas where Indian spinners will be bowling to get wickets.

India will not lose this match. If England can bat well, the match will be a draw, otherwise India will win this match.

England's bowlers are not able to take Jaiswal's wicket. Unbeaten Jaiswal scored 149 runs. India scored 314 runs with the loss of just 4 wickets and now has a huge lead of 440 runs. It is likely that the Indian team will declare the innings before the end of the second session. India will give the England team the opportunity to bat at least 4 sessions. If not, it will not be easy for Indian bowlers to take 10 wickets of England. India is not playing this match with the aim of a draw, they will try their best to win.
A draw is on the cards, but I don't see it happening thanks to England's Bazball approach where many batsmen like Root are carelessly throwing away their wickets just to keep the scoreboard ticking.

I feel that India will probably decimate them by 200+ runs at this stage helping them take the lead in the series. Let's see what happens.

No wonder England lost by a big margin. Because we did not see good batting from England in the first innings. No other batsman can play better than Duckett. Moreover, although Duckett can play big innings, it cannot be called a perfect Test innings. Duckett has batted at a strike rate of more than 100.
India declared the innings with 430 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. India set a huge target of 557 runs. Jaiswal was unbeaten with 214 runs. On the other hand England lost the wicket of Ben Duckett to collect only 15 runs.

England don't have much chance to win the game and with 4 sessions of play left its also very unlikely that match end in draw. It's 5 match series and this test match winner will go up in the series.
It's an excellent test debut by Sarfaraz khan, he was able to score in 60s in both innings and he has now reserved his spot in upcoming test matches. Yashasvi Jaiswal has played best test innings of his career so far and India got a young opener that can play for long time.

Unbelievable game of cricket by both Jaiswal and Sarfaraz. Jaiswal getting his double century and matching the number of sixes of Wasim Akram. Khan getting back to back 50s in both the innings and India getting a lead of more than 520 runs. The current viewership on Jio Cinema app is more than 40cr for a test innings. The amount of people present in the stadium is similar to T20 cricket. I have never seen such craze for test cricket in Indian in recent times thanks to Jaiswal the intrest in test cricket has again comeback. 556 runs and India have declared their innings.
Rohit Sharma's team invited England to bat with a lead of 556 runs in the second innings. What England will do in this test match is predictable, either England will try to draw although it is very difficult for now but defeat is an easy thing for England. But it is unrealistic for England to expect England to win the target of 557 runs in the second innings. Yashasvi Jaiswal's brilliant innings of 214 runs today will be an important career record. However, England are likely to bat the entire third session today but will not allow any wickets to fall. If England can bat the whole day tomorrow then maybe a draw will be possible but if wickets fall today then it will not be possible for England. The fifth day was alloted to Ashwin, Kuldeep, Jadeja.
