Saud Shakeel managed 124 runs alone. it was really good runs . he is a good player for Pakistan and he is likely a young player. another player Imam-ul-Haq done 83 runs and Sarfaraz Ahmed score 78 runs . this three players played very well for Pakistan today. If other players like them could have made good runs they would have gone a long way in terms of scores today which would have played a big role in them winning this test match.

When Pakistan had 5 wickets, I was almost certain that they would easily reach the target. I was shocked when I saw their score after the scheduled time was over. In the last segment, a few players have just arrived and returned. After Agha Salman no one else could score well. Pakistan has been able to collect 8 runs in by lost 3 wickets. Which is disappointing for Pakistan. That is why many people say that Pakistan is an unpredictable team. Whatever, Saud Shakeel a young talented cricketer has proved himself by today's match. He is still on the pitch.

A rally by New Zealand has brought them back into the game at the end of the third day, but Saud Shakeel remains unbeaten with 124 runs. His strike rate is questionable, and his defensive mindset can be detrimental. You must score runs even though it is a test match. It should have been Pakistan who took the lead, but tailenders played unprofessional cricket to make things worse. With only one wicket left in hand, Pakistan remains 42 runs behind. We'll see how long it takes them to take the lead. Yes, with 78 runs, Sarfaraz Ahmed ends another fine innings.

This match is now in Newzealand hands they did well with ball and took 6 wickets today . Pakistan still on tail of 42 runs I don't think Pakistan will chase completely because of 1 wicket on hand .

Saud Shakeel managed 124 runs alone. it was really good runs . he is a good player for Pakistan and he is likely a young player. another player Imam-ul-Haq done 83 runs and Sarfaraz Ahmed score 78 runs . this three players played very well for Pakistan today. If other players like them could have made good runs they would have gone a long way in terms of scores today which would have played a big role in them winning this test match.

Pakistan was struggling after Imam and baber dismissal but sarfaz and saud Shakeel take charge and build a strong partnership of 150 runs , after dismissal of sarfaz who score 78 runs, the strong partnership with Saud Shakeel has been broke, but after that agha Salman the new guy who already take 3 wicket in bowling join him and score a handsome runs with Saud. But unfortunately at the end of the day 9 wicket are down with a spectacular century of Suad Shakeel. Now Pakistan has 407 runs while Shakeel is on the crease hope he will chase the reaming 42 runs before all out.

@WatChe how can a test specialist perform in a T20 format?, for example Pujara is great in tests however he’s no good in a T20 format and thus I don’t believe that Test matches can help team’s find player’s for the T20 format. Furthermore when Sehwag used to play he used to make test matches fun, because he used to smash bowlers left and right but now there’s barely any batsmen like him that can constantly entertain the crowd who’re so addicted to instant entertainment that’s provided by the T20 matches.

A lot of players do not understand that in t20 the risk vs reward is actually in favour of the batsmen. In test cricket, batsman rarely plays high-risk shots. But in T-20 player has the luxury to do that because the team needs to run on the board, doesn’t matter how they come along. The problem is there are some players who are not confident enough to go for high-risk shots. Or another reason is they are just not thinking out of the box. That’s why a player who can be a great test and one-day cricketer, who has all the classic shots in the book, might not be able to be the best T-20 player.

Pakistan is playing quite well right now. They are trailing by 44 runs. But they have 0 wickets in hand. The sad part is this is going to be another boring test match because it is already the final session of the third day and Pakistan is playing their first innings.

Test format is not entertaining in current era of T20 but we have to admit that Test cricket will continue to exist for coming years. So its not a good idea to ignore test format since it produces quality players for ODI and T20.
Meanwhile Pakistan recovering nicely as they are now 271/4 and Sarfraz has once again scored a fifty and that too in crucial time. 177 still more required, Pakistan need to be careful as they are in habbit of losing quick wickets.

It's not all about bowling this all happening due to flat pitches which are not helpful for these young bowlers, and they are clueless which is surely just because of poor management which is killing the beauty of Pakistan cricket just because of own interest which mean they were happy to have draw series against these SENA Countries but sadly their batting were also not helpful in these all series, and they face defeats after defeats.

Shaheen Afridi is injured with Haris Rauf and now Naseem Shah is also back but these all needs good assistant with good supporting pitches as well which were not available but hopefully these defeats and things which happen give good lesson to them, and they will be able to have better things in future for the cricketers and fans as well.

The 5th wicket partnership is taking Pakistan into a comfort zone. Right now, Pakistan is trailing by 180+ runs with 6 wickets in hand. Another draw in sight?

These two batsmen Sarfaraz Ahmed and Saud Shakeel started the performance very well. Saud Shakeel scored 59 runs from 184 balls. And Sarfaraz Ahmed scored 44 runs from 49 balls. If these two batsmen can play more overs then they can score more runs. But it seems Any one of these two batsmen may score 100 runs today.

Currently Pakistan have scored a total of 224 runs with the loss of 4 wickets. Saud Shakeel and Sarfaraz Ahmed are on the pitch and they are both batting very well. Pakistan is focusing more on T20 than on tests, and that's the main reason why their test performance is going down and out. One worrying thing for Pakistan is that their skipper stats are going well while the team stats are going down. Babar is focusing more on his personal stats then on team performance.

LOL... no interest in the third test between Australia and South Africa? It is surprising because there is a good chance of this match ending in a win for either of the two teams, dissimilar to all the drama that is going on at Karachi.
