New Zealand was in a very strong position, but during the third session they lost too many wickets. At one point they were 234/1. And from that position they collapsed to 279/6, with Naseem Shah and Agha Salman picking up wickets. Abrar Ahmed and Hasan Ali were disappointing, picking up just one wicket and conceding 155 runs in between them. The 7th wicket partnership between Tom Blundell and Ish Sodhi is worth 40 runs till now. If New Zealand can get to somewhere around 400, then it will be a good total on this pitch. But it looks unlikely now.
