India Women vs Australia Women

India Women's team is performing well against Australia Women's team in the only Test match of the tour. Thanks to excellent bowling by Pooja and Sneh Rana, Australia women's team could only muster 219 runs. If the pitch was bowling friendly it might have been called a good collection, but the pitch was batting friendly.

Indian batsmen are also batting very responsibly. After losing 2 wickets, India now collects 147 runs. Safali was dismissed for 40 runs. Smriti remains unbeaten with 74 runs. India women's team is only 72 runs behind. India can take a lead of 100+ runs in the first innings.

I thought Smriti Mandhana would score a century today. But he ended his innings with 74 runs. Although he could not score a century, he batted well enough. Both the Indian openers performed well today. If India's middle order can do well like the two openers, India can easily score 350+ runs. But it is not possible to say whether India's middle order will do well. We have seen many times in the past that after a great performance by the top order, India failed to collect big due to the middle order batsmen not doing well. India collected 174 runs in 45 overs. The Indian team is still behind by 45 runs.

India Women team came out to bat 1st Innings today. Scored 141 runs in 35.5 overs. India Women team lost 2 wickets so far. Shafali Verma got out for 40 runs in 59 balls. Sneh Rana got out for 9 runs in 57 balls. Today India Women  The team has started to perform well. India Women team is still behind Australia Women team by 78 runs.

Indian women were cruising nicely, before they lost two quick wickets. The run out from Smriti Mandhana was quite unnecessary. It was Richa Ghosh who initiated the run, but then she stopped mid-way. Mandhana sacrificed her wicket for Ghosh's mistake. Now Jemimah Rodrigues is batting along with Ghosh and India are still behind by 57 runs. These two need to stay there and build a good partnership for the 4th wicket. Australia has spin from both the ends - off spin from Ashleigh Gardner, and leg-break from Alana King.

Pakistan's cricket is never been in hands of professional peoples those can bring good and positive changes for the game and improvement of the system which is surely big disappointment we have too many controversies and other issues but no one care about this all with the arrival of the Ramiz Raja there were few hopes but due to political influence now these are also down and this team and system is going to the worst incoming days because no one care about team and players many are already trying to have other sources like shifting from this country for the better future and few are now leaking their wounds as well.
These two youngsters are done good job in their first test match but now out of the series with injuries mean things are not completely right before their departure and having them into this squad as well.

Departure of Rambo was a big setback for cricket in Pakistan. He took several measures to improve the financial situation, such as signing a sweetened media deal for the PSL. But then, some of his inventions such as the PJL (Pakistan Junior League) was not financially viable and had to be shelved. Initial season of PJL resulted in losses of $4 million. Najam Sethi replaced him and backtracked most of his innovations. Then there is the never-ending clash with the BCCI, which made sure that tournaments such as Asia Cup were shifted out of Pakistan.

Pakistan has a huge domestic setup and its not a big deal to extract few fast bowlers. PCB is more interested in T20 then test or ODI. Mostly Pakistan is busy playing T20 and whenever there is test series they failed miserably. Few days of criticism and then everything is normal in PCB. Fitness is a concern for Pakistani fast bowlers these days. Its high time for PCB to decide what there strategy will be for Test and ODI. Boxing day test is coming up and Khurram Shahzad is likely to miss that match due to injury.

They have a large domestic setup spread out across the provinces, districts and clubs, but the problem is that there is no stability. The structure is being changed every 2-3 years and this is having a big impact on the quality of the matches. And also, there is some impact from the franchise T20 leagues. A lot of Pakistani players are involved in various foreign leagues and in the end the domestic matches suffer from the unavailability of players. All that said, once in a while they are able to produce high quality players such as Khurram Shahzad and Aamer Jamal.

Teams like India and Australia have separate squads for both test and limited overs cricket. But in case of Pakistan, they don't have the player depth to attempt anything like this. And that automatically puts additional workload on the players. Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah are regulars in both test and limited overs format. And their frequent injury woes can be blamed on this. Only solution is to increase the player pool. But in order to do that, they need to improve the quality of domestic cricket in Pakistan.

Considering how PCB allowed Naseem Shah to play in league cricket then dragging him to play for the team, shows how serious PCB has been for its players. Knowingly they make these guys suffer, don't expect something good from them, they haven't been able to schedule a fitness test for the players. All crucial players are either injured or are out of form and playing five day test requires a lot of energy and patience. I don't think they have players who can cope up with test format.

I doubt they would be able to increase the talent pool. Too much corruption and favourism has become a normal thing with PCB. The other issue is that they only try to find or get players from only one province, while other province are not touched. There are many issues still PCB and the government of Pakistan need to rethink thier ways to find talents in cricket. Otherwise they would end up like the Westindies.

I just hope he gets proper treatment and PCB serious about his fitness otherwise he'll fade away. I like Hasan Ali, yeah he sometimes gets off the road with his bowling but very spirited cricketer.

Australia women's team batted at the start and collected only 207 runs for nine wickets. The performance of the Australian team in the test game is very bad because in the test game one must survive for a long time. The Australian team has become completely helpless against the bowling of the Indian women's team. Bowling performance was so good by Pooja Vastrakar she picked up 4 wickets alone with 53 runs in 16 overs. Today, the Australian team is very likely to lose all the wickets as they are under heavy wicket pressure on the first day.

In the only Test between the two teams, the Australian women's team was 219 all out on the first day. The Indian women's team has shown an excellent bowling line-up. Pooja vastrakar & Senh rana both played a big role for the 7 wicket team. Meanwhile, the Indian women's team ended the day with 98 runs for one wicket and trailed the Australian women's team by 121 runs. Australia women's team did not use spinner bowlers early on which gave Indian women's team an advantage to score early runs. India will be satisfied with their efforts so far, but Australia still have a chance to bounce back with a strong performance. Whether Australia Women can turn the game around on day two will depend on how the match unfolds in the coming days.

Now hearing that he's ruled out and going back to Pakistan. He has a decent FC career, which means he has enough overs under his belt so not sure how his body broke after just 1 test and it's not like he was bowling on Pindi's pitch. Very unfortunate for sure.

Well... the workload was very heavy during the first test, after David Warner went berserk. And also, before the test match Khurram Shahzad had played in the tour match against the Australian Prime Minister's XI. He bowled a total of 23 overs in that match. So effectively he broke down after playing two tests. Still it is suspect. Perhaps he carried a minor injury to the first test and the heavy load meant that it got worse. Anyway disaster awaits for Pakistan in the second test, if they are planning to include Hasan Ali in the squad.
If Khurram was carrying a minor injury then it's painfully hilarious and tells you more about the sorry state of PCB. That's how they broke their bowler's backs, which happened with Ali, Shaheen, Rauf, Naseem and now the poor debutant.

I just hope he gets proper treatment and PCB serious about his fitness otherwise he'll fade away. I like Hasan Ali, yeah he sometimes gets off the road with his bowling but very spirited cricketer.

Australia women team vs India women team test match Australia team batting in the first innings. Australia's batsmen's batting performance is not so good due to which India could not score many runs against women's team. Australia Women's team has already lost eight of their crucial wickets on the first day and they may be all out soon. Australia's women's batsmen Alyssa Healy, Beth Mooney, and Tahlia McGrath put in excellent batting performances but could not sustain a partnership after being dismissed, which resulted in a reduced run rate. At the moment Australia women team has collected 194 runs with the loss of eight wickets, India women India women bowled well in today's match, and they might be able to meet the target given by Australia in the second innings and give a huge lead.

I was thinking that they will hardly to reach 250 runs and now they made only 219 runs. And now India has started their batting and they are going really well in batting Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma are playing at this time and they have made 77 runs partnership and still they are playing. India didn't lose a single wicket. If they will continue this performance so I think they will give 150 runs lead to Australian team. India is still looking better as compare to Australia team. And I think India will win this test match. The situation is saying I might be wrong.

Currently, Australia women are all out, and Indian batters are looking good with no loss in cricket. They have a pretty good run rate as well scoring 42 runs in 6.3 overs. Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana are looking good and they may achieve a good total.

It can be said that India won on the first day of the test. The Australian bowlers need to show their magic to get back on the front foot. Lauren Cheatle and Kim Garth can't seem to be bothering the Indian batters now as they are scoring runs easily. If I had to predict the end result I think India would win it. But it's test cricket and the best format of the cricket game, and each team has 4 more days to come back in the game.

Kind of a weird argument, Being new does help, it could also backfire on debutants and there is no guarantee of success or failure. All teams use the same tactics against their opponents. Using footage, analyzing techniques of opponents etc. It even happens in a domestic circuit so it's not restricted to Australia only.

If Pakistan can't do the same against the Australian team then they have some serious problems and losing/winning/competing is not one of em.

Agreed. Going with an inexperienced pace attack in Australia can easily backfire upon you. However, both Khurram Shahzad and Aamer Jamal bowled really well in the first test. After the initial fireworks from David Warner, they managed to keep Australia under 500 (that itself if a big achievement). From 238/2, Australia ended up at 487 all out. The two experienced bowlers (Shaheen Shah Afridi and Faheem Ashraf) were the weak links in Pakistan attack. The sole spinner (Agha Salman) also went wicketless in the first test.

They both were far better than Afridi if compared. They were trying to get a wicket and not bowling for the sake of bowling. Not only that, but they both were bowling a good line and length and in the end they both got rewarded for their effort. I am sure Pakistan will miss Khurram Shahzad in the second test match. They are out of bowlers and I feel this test match is now looking like a practice match for Australia. From 26th the second test will start and we might get the same result as the first match.
