Bangladesh's bowling made a modest comeback against India. At one point such an environment was created that Bangladesh could possibly win. Virat Kohli has to go back to the dressing room after collecting one run. Bangladesh's spin bowlers have shown great craft. But in the end, after losing 7 wickets, the Bangladeshi bowlers could not accept any more wickets from India. In view of which India secured victory by 3 wickets.

My prediction was that India will win the match but the match will be very competitive. Because this is Mirpur's pitch. Bangladesh bowlers always perform well on Mirpur pitch. And they played very well against India too, this morning I thought Bangladesh was going to win. India won because of Iyer and Ashwin's responsible batting. India needed to win the Test series after the humiliating defeat in the ODI series.

India played very well on the first day of the Test match and were ahead of Bangladesh by a huge of runs due to which they did not need too many runs to win the second day match.  Because of this India beat Bangladesh by 3 wickets I said in my last post that India was more likely to win this test match Bangladesh was not a very likely team to draw with India

India won today's match depends on their batsmen. But after watching the game I thought India won't win this match.  I was really worried the way all the batsmen started getting out. Later when I saw India 3 wickets in the match.  I am really happy to see this win.  Bangladeshi players could not perform very well at the end of the game.

Lol that's true kohil and many Indian players play more aggressively and brilliantly against Pakistan.  
Recent Indian performance in test cricket is almost same like Pakistan test series on their home ground the difference is India is playing against Bangladesh who are luckily weaker than them and Pakistan was playing against England who's strong team like Pakistan.  
Otherwise performance wise they are same.

Shreyas Iyer and R Ashwin came as the savior for India. They took India over the line and got the deserving win. I absolutely cannot say that Bangladesh deserved to win this match at all. It would have been really amazing to actually see Bangladesh win this match if they could after that really poor performance that they did. The only achievement for Bangladesh in this test cricket is probably Zakir Hassan, the top-order batsman of Bangladesh. Other than that Bangladesh did not achieve anything else. And I think it is time for Mushfiqur Rahim to retire.

Ashwin is the Saviour! Everytime team India is in trouble, he steps up and takes control of the situation. He did it in Sydney 2021, the last ball against Pakistan in the T20 world cup and today against Bangladesh. He won't be available for long and India needs to find someone like him. Good comeback by India with today's win they also won the series.

To get his test form back, you need to schedule some test matches against Pakistan. Remember he was out of form in the T20 too, but as soon as he started playing against Pakistan, he got his form back.

Finally Shreyas and Ashwin have won the batsom for India.  Because of the fall of total 7 wickets in the last moment Shreyas and Ashwin scored 29 runs in 46 balls and scored 42 runs in 62 balls.  These two are known as India's best stars today.  In today's second innings, even though Bangladesh played on their own ground, they could not snatch the victory.  Because this Mirpur ground was strong for Bangladesh, it is never acceptable that others will win in their own ground.  Shreyas and Ashwin were fit for Tests that kept India's game away.

Bangladesh lost because of their poor batting. It was not possible to win the target with only 145 runs. It was a very low target against a team like India. If Bangladesh had given a target of more than 200 then maybe they could have won. However, the performance of the Bangladeshi bowlers was very good. Otherwise we would have seen the dominance of Indian players in the match only.

That must the beauty of test cricket. I mean you can enjoy the parts of t20 in test cricket but the vice versa must be not enjoyable. By the end of play on 3rd day, I was thinking just 6 more wickets and 100 more runs were needed by India hence there could be easier win for Bangladesh in their own soil but India showed their batting depth. This must be a 50-50 match but India grabbed it in the end still I feel like cricket won in the end. Bangladesh deserves this match for their efforts still in cricket anything is possible  as fortune favours the braves.

If Ashwin was not counter attacking or India did not send night watchmen then India might have suffered a loss to draw this series but luck factor worked for India through better decisions in the end.

I think Bangladesh lost this match due to their own fault. I think the runs that Bangladesh batted were not the right runs to win. If Bangladesh could have scored some more runs then maybe there is hope for Bangladesh to win the match. India in this match.  Hard won. India lost 7 wickets and was under a lot of pressure but after a lot of trouble they won the match.

Up and down comes in life it's a life cycle, same thing happen in cricket also, now the performing batter like Rishabh Pant failed and failed from a long time in previous matches and due to that reson he was replaced with Dinesh Kartik. Now same thing is happening with King Kohli who performed brilliant in Asia Cup and World Cup, in my mind he is the only batter who push his team to next stage of competition through his performance. Now due to few bad performance how you can say that selector should think about his role. Kohli Is a class player he will comback like he did in 3rd ODI against Bangladesh. So believe on him and backed him.

In the 2nd Test match, Bangladesh vs India, I understood that by enjoying the game between these two teams. Bangladesh team doesn't have good quality players. The biggest weak point is the lack of Patience of Bangladesh players. I saw Bangladesh batsmen were playing too fast and almost got out of their batsmen. But Bangladesh bowlers started bowling well first. But towards the end the Indian batsmen took control of the game and took them south. India won the match by 3 wickets.

All the credits for the drama goes to the curator as the pitch started to wear out from the third day and the Bangladesh spinners were on top for majority of the match until Ravichandran Ashwin and Shreyas Iyer came to the crease. Ashwin was lucky enough to survive the pressure due to a sharp drop catch and then one flew through the slip fielders and then the momentum shifted.

I agreed with the sentiment and it's going down but i'd still back Kohli in test format, especially in SENA countries.

I'd also like him to play a few games in the Ranji to tackle his struggle against spin (off spinners). Unfortunately, his ego is too big to play in the Ranji, I hope he wakes up and goes back to domestic for a couple of matches before BGT trophy, if not then i am sure Nathan Lyon and part-time offies must be checking his footage.

Actually not only him but KL Rahul too. He's mighty good against spin but this guy has the mindset of a big loser and he shouldn't be near ICT captaincy.

Atm our best batters of spin are Rohit, Pant, Mayank, Iyer Gill, Pujara, Axar and Ashwin (the first 4 guys are beasts against any spin attack).

Indian middle-lower order and bowlers are strong in the subcontinent and I have lost count of how many times they bailed out the team India but the current top order needs soul searching otherwise in the next couple of months Aussies are going to beat the shit of us in BGT.

Big shout out to Bangbros, they really gave Indian top order another reality check. I absolutely loved their attitude after the Litton-Mehdy batting Partnership and it has been a treat to watch them in the 4th inning.

The Indian team was in trouble after losing four wickets at the start of batting on the third day. Even though only 100 runs are required, scoring those runs on the Mirpur pitch will be a tough challenge for them. At that time Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer are waiting to get down. But it was not possible to say with confidence that India will win this match.

At the start of today's game, the equation was Bangladesh needed 6 wickets while India needed 100 runs. Bangladesh increased the chances of winning by 3 wickets in 7 overs in the morning. But Ravichandran Ashwin and Shreyas Iyer stood in the way.

71 runs in an unbroken eighth-wicket partnership, India's highest partnership for that wicket against Bangladesh in any innings. Ashwin, who got life by 1 run, remained unbeaten on 42 runs, India won by 3 wickets. This is India's win against Bangladesh by the smallest margin batting in the fourth innings.

yes, we saw how the Indian bench showed a sign of relief when the winning runs were scored. India should have easily won this match they made it a thriller at the end.

The good thing is that India not only won this test match but also won this test series by 2-0.


Both of these two players, Iyer and Ashwin showed some great temperament and took Indian home. When they came into bat, the Indian team were struggling and i had a feeling that India may lose this match but thanks to them to save Indian team and won the series for them.

But the picture of the game changed completely when Ashwin and Shreyas Iyer took control of the game.  In other words, these two batsmen took India from complete defeat to the port of victory.  Anyway Bangladesh won the ODI series but India won the Test series.

If we look at the Test rankings, Bangladesh is not in a very good position.  Moreover, I wrote in a post long ago that Bangladesh Test cricket players do not have the strength of mind and patience to play.  Bangladesh will have to field a separate squad for the Test.  Talented cricketers with thoughtful taste should be given place here.  Moreover, you have a different request to the selectors of Bangladesh in a slightly different manner in Test cricket.  Otherwise Bangladesh will lose the status of Test cricket.

Congratulations to India and Bangladesh for their excellent performances. What an exciting Test match! The Bangladeshi batters should add few more runs to their total in their home ground, but they're giving tough competition in their home ground. Ashwin and Iyer played nerveless cricket after India lost three quick wickets this morning to make it 2-0!
