Not much left with this game as the lead is now 394 runs. I bet that Australia will declare their innings after the lunch break and try to get as many wickets as they can before the fourth day ends. Shaheen Afridi has not been at his best in this test match, he has not got a single wicket in the second innings. I am disappointed with the way the Pakistani team has played the first test match.

Honestly, Australia seems to be a much stronger team compared to Pakistan in this test. Both Pakistan's batters and bowlers haven't delivered a standout performance. Unfortunately, Pakistan missed a chance to perform well with the bat in favorable conditions, making it difficult to salvage a draw in this test. I think it's very likely Australia will get a win, and Pakistan might face a challenging situation in their second innings as well.

The Australian had more potential game like the England in the game of cricket,they also was in the strongest mind set with the World Cup win.The bowling of the Pakistan was really good in this test match,because clean wicket of the World Cup winning team is not the easy for the team which never qualified in the World Cup semi final.The good way of Pakistan was take all wickets before the 500 runs was impressive one.But the Australian team take the good revenge by taking all the wickets of Pakistan before the 300 runs and keep above the 300 upfront to play the current test with 84/2 wickets.If the Pakistan doesn’t take all wickets before 150-200,the match will become draw.

But if the target is more than 400 then Australia will win this match. The match is unlikely to be a draw.
At the end of the third day, Australia lost 2 wickets and collected 84 runs. And Australia are now 300 runs ahead of Pakistan. Australia's batsmen are in good form. It will not be difficult for Australia to score 100 runs tomorrow. And probably Pakistan will get a chance to bat for 5 sessions. I thought Australia would invite Pakistan to bat in the second innings but Australia decided to bat again in the second innings. Batting in the second innings, Australia lost two wickets for 84 runs and ended the third day's play 300 runs ahead of Pakistan. They might add some more runs on their scoreboard tomorrow to avoid a draw and if they can stay on the wicket all day tomorrow then they can declare an innings by the end of the fourth day. Australia has a great chance to win against Pakistan in the first test match, hope Australia will not miss this opportunity at all and surely they will win against Pakistan in the first test. Pakistani fans should not be disappointed with these results in Australia. You guys are not alone, almost every visiting team gets the same treatment whenever they tour Australia.
Before Proteas used to win and compete against Australia in Australia, nowadays it's just India so according to traditions at one time, Aussie only allows one team to win or compete in Australia and everything is going according to plans, your time will also come.

However, Pakistan's overall performance against Australia was poor. The bowlers did not perform well, while the performance of the batsmen was very poor. While Australia managed to score 487 runs in the first innings, Pakistan scored only 271 runs. Pakistani bowlers are not doing well in the second innings as well. Pakistani bowlers picked up two wickets quite quickly but Usman Khawaja and Steven Smith batting very responsibly. Australia lead by 300 runs at the end of the third day.
The good thing is, there is no hope for Pakistan in this tour so they can only up their game from here, even one draw with a fighting performance from the bat or ball (Not rain, delay etc) would earn them respect from fans around the world.

Well, I will actually say that Pakistani fans might eventually disappointed. Because a better performance from Pakistan was definitely expected by everyone. You know that pitch was not very bad. Pakistan could make a lot of runs on this track. Pakistan simply just failed to score. And now Australia is scoring fine on this track. So I don't think they actually have anything to complain about. Pakistan just performed badly. Pakistan should know that it is something they are going to face whenever they play a test match against another country. That's why test cricket has become boring and most of the time one-sided.

I would say it is not possible to win the match after trailing by 216 runs. And Pakistan's defeat is more likely at the moment. Unless a miracle happens, Pakistan will lose this match. The three batsmen in the top order batted somewhat well. We have not seen good performances from talented batsmen like Khurram Shahjad, Babar Azam and Sarfaraz. If these three batsmen could have batted well, maybe Pakistan could have collected 350+ runs easily.

Its very much clear on Day 3 stumps, Australia have got a lead of 300 runs and they have lost just 2 wickets. We still have 2 days left and there is no chance to draw this game. Pakistan got some early advantage in second innings, got two early wickets but then Smith and Khawaja had an unbeaten partnership of 79 runs. Australia will likely declare there second innings by tea tomorrow and then allow Pakistan to chase.
