Today too India waited for Virat Kohli's century to declare their innings. But I was hoping India would take the score to above 500 before declaring it as two whole days are more than enough to either chase a target of 500 or take 10 wickets. The current condition of Australia do make the decision look easy but I don't see much logic in declaring the 2nd innings so early. Australia getting a target of 534 runs started poor. They have already lost 3 wickets making 12 runs. Unless Australian batsmen do have miraculous innings, it seems India would be winning the test.

West Indies too declared in a similar score but its their 1st innings. Bangladesh have already lost two wickets but they are not in dire circumstances and they'll probably bat the whole of third day. Considering the slow pace of the game I think this would likely head to a draw.

Yes, if Bangladesh would make the good start then there might be some little chances for the Bangladesh team but they have already lost their 2 main wickets at the score of just 40. It was treat to watch this match as an Indian cricket fan. I would have liked it better had they sent Reddy early on instead of Paddikal, Reddy looked good in both innings, could have made fifty/century given enough time, a great start for his test career. Number 8th place doesn't look right for him, send him up in the order.

The fall of Australia's three wickets for 12 runs means that it cannot be said for sure whether they will be able to complete 100 runs. Australia were bowled out for 104 runs in the first innings but this time with a lead of 534 runs India put Australia in a pile of runs. The pattern of Australia's batting disaster seems very likely whether Australia can score 100 runs like in the first innings. Australian supporters will never accept that a familiar Australia will perform like an unfamiliar Australia at their home venue.
