England managed to set up such a massive total, after so long. Nice to see Ben Stokes getting a century, and Joe Root making another big score. Dan Lawrence was quite unlucky to miss his hundred. The West Indian bowling looked dull, and only Veerasammy Permaul looked impressive in parts. ~
Thank God you give credit to batsmen rather then blaming the board and curator for making a flat pitch that will take the match to draw. Definitely your moral goes down if you opponent keep on scoring runs, West Indies have a tough day ahead. ~
The condition of the pitch deserves all of the credits, not the batsmen of England. I thought West Indies will show poor performance by staying under pressure. But the Windies players are battling really well now. Test match is fully boring when the pitch has nothing for the bowlers. Now it seems like the second test will end as draw too. Betting odds for the draw is 1.3× now. West Indies has already scored 250 runs by losing 3 wickets only.

England  -  West Indies

The match between England and West Indies is heading towards a draw. After losing the third wicket for 101 runs, I thought West Indies might end their first innings between 300-350. But due to the responsible batting of Brathwait and Blackwood, West Indies scored 236 runs and did not lose any more wickets. Brathwaite is unbeaten on 98 and Blackwood's collection is 70.

The game in the third session of the third day is now underway. And perhaps the West Indies will be batting 20-22 overs today. And if the West Indies bat all day today, then the match is most likely to be a draw.

Trailing by 436 runs and losing 1 wicket does not mean they are out of the match. Still 3 more days left and WI can chase those run if they play sensibly on day 3, they need a big partnership

You are right. Day 3 will be make or break day for WI. If they play carefully and can chase down England first innings total chances will be we have a draw but if England can take lead of 200 from here then they are in strong position to win this game. Place your bet carefully.

The West Indian bowling looked dull, and only Veerasammy Permaul looked impressive in parts. BTW, Matthew Fisher is making his debut for England and he has already picked up his first wicket (that of John Campbell, caught behind by Foakes). He is having a smooth bowling action and has the capability to make it big in the coming years.

They are still 436 runs behind England total, they should try to score at least 350 in there first innings to remain in the match.

I predicted and said before, at the end of the first day that England is going to put up a really big total. And that's exactly what happened. Now West Indies has lost one wicket already for 71 runs. And still trailing by 436 runs. To be honest I am not sure that they will be able to get a lead at the end of their innings. 436 runs look quite a lot, to be honest, and I think we will get a good idea after the first session of the third day.

We have another very good test match between South Africa vs Bangladesh with most of South African players are in India for their IPL stint and Board announces they will go ahead with new players this can give some good advantage to Bangladesh which already beat New Zealand in New Zealand.

Bangladesh tour to SA will run from 18 Mar 2022 to 11 Apr 2022. AFAIK, South Africa board refused to issue NOCs to its players to attend PSL earlier this year saying national duty (India tour to SA during PSL) will be first. I don't think same will happen for PSL as BCCI gives handsome money to boards to spare players for IPL.
Aussies players will miss start of IPL due to there tour to Pakistan.

Just end of second day play with score on board is 71/1 which mean they have done some good performance after big score from England, and now they have to stay at crease for long time which is possible due to this pitch behavior as it is also batting track, and we can expect one or two centuries from West Indian batsmen tomorrow first session will give us very clear picture of this test match because if English bowlers can dismiss one or two batsmen then surely they can take some healthy lead otherwise it is surely going to end another dead rubber with almost we have last three matches two in Pakistan and one in West Indies.

After seeing 2 days play I am of the view that this test will also end in a draw just like the first one until England bowlers do some magic on day 3 and bowl out WI around 300. WI board is not facing criticism that is faced by PCB for making flat pitche, don't known what's the reason for that.

The whole nation is celebrating the win as if we have won the match.

Pakistani's are diehard fans of Babar Azam and Rizzwan. Cricket has brought so much joy to the land. I am not sure what pressure the players would have on their mind while playing. Keeping is consideration - Pakistani cricket fans would not like Paksitani cricket team loosing any match

Aren't we seeing some big scores being made by the teams? First, we saw Australian and Pakistan teams making 450-500 runs in every innings of the first two test matches between them and now England here scored 500+ runs. It will not be easy for WI to score the same amount of runs. Their first target should to be to made 307 runs and avoid the follow on. If WI managed to do this, then we are heading towards the draw in this test match.

England scored 404 runs with the help of Root, Lawrence and Stokes. The partnership of ROot and Lawrence was very necessary after taking both the wickets quickly. Today, Stokes's performance is just awesome. His batting looks like it is an ODI or T20 match. He has collected 103 runs. He hit 11 fours and 4 sixes. Maybe England will declare the innings after collecting 500 runs.

As you guess, England declared their innings after collecting 507 runs. Ben Stokes' performance impressed me too. He collected 120 runs off 128 balls. And in Test matches too, he has hit 6 over boundaries. Which was awesome.
England's collection is very good. Now England can win only if the bowlers can fulfill their responsibilities properly. West Indies will bat like about 25 overs today. If England can take two wickets today, then they can control the match.

England done amazing performance in batting, and they outclass completely West Indian bowling specially Root and Stokes were on great run with Root having second century of this tour and 25th of his test career which is amazing by this person with having target of 507 now West Indies is batting, and they lost one early wicket but right now both Braithwaite and Shamarh Brooks on crease with their best.

Saqib Mahmood and Fisher on their test debut doing good impressive bowling but look like this pitch is not having something for any bowler if batsman want to out himself it's the only option available for bowlers with this most chances we are heading for another draw of some magic can change things in favor of England. Just six overs remaining in the day, Leach and Stokes trying their luck for something special.

But, I am really hoping that this will change in the third test match. Otherwise, it will be absolutely boring to see another 5 days of batting without any intention except for surviving. I really don't understand why they don't make a pitch that is good and suitable for both batsmen and bowlers? You know, they do have great bowlers in their squad…
The next match will be in Lahore.. I think the ground is better there. Are we going to discuss pitch again for the third test match or was that Karachi only? I have never heard so much about pitch issue. But I am very surprised and appreciate those who predicted a draw. That was really unbelievable guess.

England has lost their first 8 wickets. The final session of day 2 has started just now and England has scored above 500 runs. Perhaps, they are going to loss all of their wickets shortly. However, England has already made a good run. West Indies players will be under pressure and we may see batting collapse during their first innings. I think England is going to win the second test match.
Dan Lawrence, Joe Roots and Ben Stokes playing amazing innings for their team in this inning and now have 507/9 declare which is huge task for West Indies even with current pitch situation most chances we will have another draw because bowlers are not having any support from this pitch and batting is very easy now here West Indian batsmen need to stay as they can if they want to stay in this match and series with England is facing some bowling problems in absence of Wood and Ollie Robinson with now two new bowlers in line for this test match now this remaining session is very important for this test match if England able to have few wickets then surely they will be in driving seat otherwise most chances they are going to face backlash because England need to change fortunes after having very bad time in last six test matches.

I would say khi test was a historic win for Pakistan since they draw a match which was very much in Australia favour. It was difficult to come back in second innings when you are out on 148 runs. I do agree that third test pitch should be made in a way that it must bring result.
Right now we can say this draw is also win for Pakistan because staying at crease for 170 overs is never been easy for any team on any track against team like Australia, so this is without any doubt historic match for them with have some outstanding innings from top class batsmen against quality bowling.

But, here we have some concerns against Cummins captaincy as well because he has done big mistake and not give follow on after this at fielding they drop few catches which make big difference but still with all this we have very exciting end of this draw test which will be remembered for many years just because of Babar and Rizwan innings which make big difference.

Now in last and final test is going to play at Lahore which is also similar pitch like we have in Rawalpindi and Karachi so most chances this series is going to end in draw which could be really poor for all fans.

England   -   West Indies
England drew the first Test against the West Indies. But in the second match they will not want the same result. They will definitely want to win this match. They are playing with the goal of winning Ebgong. Seychelles England lost 3 wickets for 244 runs on the first day. At the end of the day, England lost Dan Lawrence's valuable wicket. Joe Root is unbeaten on 119 runs. England will be in control of the match if they manage to score 400 runs in two sessions tomorrow.
Dan Lawrence was unlucky to bowled out on 91 runs and missed his century. Same type of bad lucks were seen yesterday by Babar Azam and Shafique when they were out on 196 and 96 runs. First test b/w WI and England ended in a draw and performance of both team is very much equal in that match. We need to wait till WI innings to see who will dominate this game.
Dan Lawrence played really well for his 91 runs. It was really bad luck for him to get out like that. The captain Joe Root did get his century. And at the end of the first day, judging by the position that England is in at the moment I think it will be good if they are going to put up a really big score against West Indies.
They only last three wickets so they have a lot more batting to come. It was a good start by the West Indies in my opinion but the third wicket partnership really took the momentum away from them. But they would be happy to get a wicket from the last ball of the day.

In test cricket generally, we see that the pitch behaves well for the first two or even three days. But after that, the pitch starts to produce something for the bowlers and especially some turn for the spinners. But these pitches just stayed the same. Absolutely flat and heavenly for batsmen. They just scored as they wished on these pitches.
