You are right. Much will depend on the first session. If Pakistan is in control of the first session. Then they will win the match. Because they need only 314 runs to win. If they can bat all day, they will easily win.

So as long as Shafique and Babar Azam are at the crease, Pakistan will be hoping to draw the match. If these two players are out, control of the match will again go to Australia.
