There is no opportunity to underestimate the opponent. The adversary may be relatively weak but to think of him as weak is a sign of stupidity and incompetence. Because there is no obligation that a weak party will always remain weak. This is the mentality when you make someone feel weak, you will also feel weak with them. When you think your opponent is weak, you will also be mentally weak and it is natural that your opponent will take advantage of this.

As an equation, Bangladesh is relatively weaker team than India. But you would be wrong to ignore Bangladesh's recent performances. Maybe the Indian team has world class bowlers and batsmen, do you think Bangladesh is far behind India? Bangladesh's bowling unit is capable of competing with India's bowling unit. It would not be wrong to even say that Bangladesh's bowling unit may be stronger than India's bowling unit. But the batting department of Bangladesh is far behind the batting department of India. Well.. you seems to be very optimistic about Lankan cricket. I am not so much sure about it. A win or two once in a while is not going to do them any good. What they need to do is to win matches regularly, especially during major ICC tournaments. On top of all this, Sri Lanka is currently undergoing an economic turmoil, and that will have an impact on the quality of cricket. In the long run, I am not very hopeful about the situation in Sri Lanka, unlike the case with either India or Pakistan.

The squad that India has announced for the two Test matches against Bangladesh shows how serious India is taking this series against Bangladesh. Not just limited to team announcements, a significant number of people have bought tickets with huge sums of money to watch this Test match between India and Bangladesh. Bangladesh recently finished the Test series against Pakistan where Bangladesh defeated Pakistan in two matches to whitewash. Basically this is the only reason to take Bangladesh so seriously. The match between India and Pakistan in the equation is highly competitive but currently the hype can be seen in the match between Bangladesh and India. Hopefully Bangladesh can compete like that against India in the two Test matches.

I think if the Sri Lanka A does not make runs tomorrow then they have to try to draw this match. As tomorrow is the last day, if they will open their innings by hitting boundaries then it is good otherwise if they lose their 1 or 2 wicket early then they have to play safe or have to try to defend their wickets. In the first innings, South Africa A played very hard but later in the second innings, they have not did good and lost their all wicket on 124. The whole game depends on their bowlers now, if they perform well then South Africa can do come back in the game. Who knows if we see a similar collapse of SriLanka A team too in the 2nd innings ?

Yes, You are right this test match was ended in fourth day of match. Sri lanka both team doing well recently they beat England team in test match in England. Now their A tram will beat South Africa A in this test their chances of winning is high because they have nine wickets remaining. Sri lanak A needs just 140 runs and 9 wickets in hands. South Africa A batting line collapsed in second inning of test match All out in just 124 runs. Sri lanka A bowling performance is outstanding especially Isitha Wijesundara picked 7 important wickets by just giving only 34 runs and Eshan Malinga also bowl well picked two crucial wickets by giving only 27 runs and restarted South Africa A under 130 runs.  I think tomorrow Sri Lanka A will easily chase 174 runs target against South Africa A.

The day two has been stumps too due to the bad condition of the weather. I think this is a match in which we could only see rain and it will finish without playing any ball, still I have some hopes to see the game.



We still have time till 14th September but as the days pass by, the more chances are that the test will be drawn as it is difficult for the teams to get 20 wickets off the opponent and also bat in only the remaining 3 or less days. Till the day three Sri Lanka A is looking to win this game but at the same time, after seeing their last innings performance South Africa also looking to grab this game as they have wonderful bowling attack.

Today Sri Lanka has lost their one wicket early. They are batting on 34 in the loss of 1 wicket. Sri Lanka A just have to make 140 runs then they win this game but I think it will be easy for Sri Lanka A to make these runs as I have seen their first innings performance. Let’s see as tomorrow is the last day of this test match.

Both the teams are unhappy about play not happening. Today at day time there was no rain happening at the Greater Noida Sports Complex Ground, but even then play was not possible because of overnight rain. The drainage facilities were so poor that not even a single over of play was possible. Afghan players were visibly upset, as they rarely get matches against tier-1 test nations. There are even talks about shifting home matches of Afghanistan to the United Arab Emirates.

At the start of the match, most people thought England would win. But the great come back of the Sri Lankan team which helped them to win is definitely commendable, Sri Lanka's great win against England. An 8-wicket win was indeed a joy for Sri Lanka, as it was the first time they had won a Test match by a huge margin against England. Although the England team batted brilliantly on the first day, they did not bat well in the second session, due to which the Sri Lankan team was able to bat well with them later on. However, this great performance by the Sri Lankan team has given the team a lot of energy, and they will try to improve their game further and play well in every match.

Well.. I am not sure whether this is a genuine comeback by Sri Lanka. This team has been on constant downslide for the last decade or so. One or two wins will not change the long-term situation. The same can be said for Bangladesh as well. The recent win against Pakistan should be treated with caution. Once they start winning matches consistently outside Asia, we can confidently say that their fortunes have changed. But all that said, both these countries need to revamp their domestic cricket structure. Club-based domestic cricket needs to give way to region-based structure.

We are still two weeks away from the 2nd test, and it's still possible to change the venue if they want. However, I believe BCCI and the government have a strong belief that they will be able to provide full security to the team players, which is why they did not change the venue. I understand that in both countries, there are haters who do not like each other.

They should know that whatever is happening is a political matter. The Indians supported the recent Quatta reform protest in Bangladesh, and Bangladesh also supported the protest that happened in West Bengal, where a Doctor was raped and killed. Most of the people like each other and do not have any problem with the neighbors. But there are always some exceptions. These thing should be handled by the government.

England team were batting first. As they lost the toss Sri Lanka chose to bowl first, but I thought it maybe wrong on that time due to the pitch report. As the Oval ground pitch supports for the team who bat first as well but they chose to bowl. But later, in the first innings, I thought they have really done bad decision but at that time, I don’t have predicted the second innings. In the second innings, Sri Lanka smashed the ball as their batsmen were hitting the balls . Finally, Sri Lanka has won the game after struggling in many previous matches. They showed their class in this test match and surprised a lot of people.

I have to say that Sri Lanka vs England series was not enjoyable at all. Sri Lanka's performance was absolutely bad. All 3 pitches used in this series were batting friendly. Watching innings of 400-500 runs in Tests on batting friendly grounds becomes enjoyable for cricket lovers. But we have seen only one 400+ innings in this series. Where there were 12 batting innings in 3 matches and only one 400+ runs in 12 innings. Not even an innings has reached 500 runs. I think more runs are scored in an ODI series as well.

I have calculated the average runs of 3 matches, in which not a single match has crossed 300 runs average. 1st match average runs = 281 approx, 2nd match average runs = 292 approx, 3rd match average runs = 241 approx. How can a cricket lover enjoy a test match if the average run in a test match is like this that too on a batting friendly pitch? I was more optimistic about the England team, I thought they would give at least one 500-run innings. But they completely fail to do so. Have to say India ODI World Cup 2023 has seen more innings and if the average runs for the entire World Cup are calculated we will see a 250+ average. The 2018 England ODI World Cup will also have a much higher run average.

Sri Lanka's performance was very bad, England's performance is not good. They try to play marcut innings in test cricket too which is not the beauty of test cricket. England is ruining the beauty of Test cricket. I wouldn't have said this if they had played an innings at Marcutt and collected big. It would have been very enjoyable for cricket lovers. But I am not at all happy with the way England played the Test match but rather disappointed. I think England should play Test cricket like Tests, not like ODIs or T20s.

I am still in shock at how can they played so brilliantly when they have quite a horrible history in his recent matches but in my view England got a bit lazy or they underestimated them because they already won the previous two matches back to back and were almost about to win that last match according to their first inning performance. The main and important role has been played by the bowling side of SiriLankan and that becomes the turning point for SiriLanka to be at least in the game despite losing previous matches. Nisaanka was really impressive and calm during the chase because he knew he could single handedly and he does.
The Afghanistan vs New Zealand match was hardly damaged by rain interruption, and it's the second day, but still it's showing delayed hope so the first match will be announced as a draw result.

Yeh there are several community who does same when it come to Pakistan too especially at odi world cup when Pakistan were playing against Indian team at Narender modi stadium at that time there were huge threat to them from different community to stop playing against them or they will damage them hardly but we really appreciate security organization because they really make sure safe and secure things for player and fan so I believe there will be not harm act from them against Bangladesh as security organization will provide thier full strength to make things safe and smoothly done without any intruption.

Anyway from some source PCB will announced Rizwan as three format captain as baber and shan are not capable but PCB chair man denied that news and announced that now it's UpTo selection committee and coaching staff to make these changes. While from coaching staff they will currently back Shan and baber and will give them enough time to comeback and showed thier captaincy skills

Some organizations in India are very radical. Moreover, India does not have good relations with any of its neighbors. India's political conflict with Pakistan is very old. India's conflict with Bangladesh has increased in recent times. But people should limit these conflicts only to the political sphere. These conflicts should be kept away in sports. Because sport is a place of joy.

As far as I have heard an organization in Kanpur does not want to allow Bangladesh vs India match to be held in Kanpur. And even then if BCCI organizes the match in Kanpur then they might have hinted that they will attack the Bangladeshi player and try to stop the match. I have full confidence in the Indian security forces. They will probably be able to provide full security to the Bangladesh team. But still I think BCCI should change the venue. It would not be right to host the match in Kanpur even after such an attack threat.

England batted very well in the first innings against Sri Lanka which gave Sri Lanka a first lead of 325 runs. Sri Lanka was put under a lot of pressure after losing wickets at the start of England's lead of 325 runs, but Pathum Nissanka, Kamindu Mendis and Dhananjaya de Silva batted responsibly for Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan team could not bat that well in the first innings and were all out for just 263 runs in the lead of 325 runs given by England. In the first innings, it seemed like the game was in England's favor but in the second innings, the bowlers of the Sri Lankan team bowled very aggressively from the start, due to which the England team was under a lot of pressure after losing wickets in the beginning. With a target of 219 runs, the Sri Lankan batsmen batted very responsibly to win the second innings, which easily won the first Test match against England. Sri Lanka team won by 8 wickets against England team. But I must blame England's sloppy batting as the reason for England's loss, because the way Sri Lanka bowled aggressively in the second innings, England should have played responsible batsmen, then maybe the first test match would have been within England's reach.

An incredible performance by the Sri Lankan team played a vital role in their victory against England in the third Test match. In the first innings of this match too, Sri Lanka trailed the England team but when the England team came out to bat in their second innings, we saw a different Sri Lankan team. Lahiru Kumara and Fernando were rough against the England batsmen as the duo combined to dismiss seven of England's batsmen. England were losing wickets at regular intervals which resulted in the dismissal of seven of their top-order batsmen in just 82 runs. Jamie Smith and Olly Stone put on a crucial partnership 58 runs off 44 balls in the eighth wicket partnership.

If this partnership had not happened, England would have been all out by less than 100 runs to Sri Lanka. England were buoyed by confidence after winning the first two Tests, but Sri Lanka shattered their confidence by winning the third match to end the series 2–1. Maybe this win will give relief to the Sri Lankan team even though they have lost the first two matches.
