All things aside India still not winning the WTC at any cost Grin even if they reach the finals easily. England/Australia/Newzealand are very strong in comparison of India when playing in the English condition ( lords)

Indian pace bowlers are nowadays performing well in the overseas conditions. The problem is with the spin bowlers and the batsmen. From what I have seen, Virat Kohli is perhaps the only Indian batsmen who has performed consistently under English conditions. Things may improve if some of the Indian batsmen participate in the county championship. But it looks as if they are not interested in this low-paying highly effort intensive stint.

Pakistan is not happy because now they are leaking their wounds they lost golden opportunity to win this series and good points in first test now second is already end in draw and most chances third is also going to end in draw because too much rain expected so this series is going to end on just first test result which is clearly not good for them but England is also not happy as now they are feeling they can do some more good after winning first test.
Pakistan might be happy as rain prevented them to be 0-2 which means they are still having decent chances to square the series rather than being already lost the series. The 3rd test is going to be played at Southampton which might be flat surface then there would be a decent chances for Pakistan players to score more and to put England to chase to make them feel the pressure to defeat England. But, England will be a fiery team in home soil and they have improved batting line who may bat like T20 matches even in test cricket.

If Pakistan will look for more spinning options then probably they get chances to put England in back foot as English team is always known for struggling against spinners even in home grounds.

I also think that Pakistan would be happy with the result in being a draw as it still gives them a chance to at least draw the series which would be a good outcome for them after letting England back into the series with their second innings poor performance in the first test match. Even with all the rain around hopefully we'll see one team win the third test.

I have heard the weather will not be good in the third test in Southampton. If there is no result in the last test, it will be really disappointing. I hope the rain stays away and we can see some live cricket on our television screens.
We all looking for a match without any rain because now its enough is enough but sadly no one can stand against nature so we have to face this all I just check all weather report last two days are very bad for rain if something special happen then surely we are going to watch an interesting match otherwise another weather hit match is waiting for us,

Tomorrow we will have some rain and then two days are going ok for third and final test as Root want some hard push from players for good win against Pakistan but I am feeling this match is also going to be draw due to bad weather as last two days are not good enough as showing on different weather forecast sites. https://www.bbc.com/weather/2637487
Considering inconsistent batting line up of both teams against the quality seam bowlers, i think 3.5 days of gameplay is enough for good contest or if we are lucky then may be result as well.

^^ But don't get surprise if England manage to reach finals, one fine example is 2019 World Cup
--------
Eng vs Pak
One way to fulfill per day overs quota....
Early start now an option for the third England-Pakistan Test

Quote
The Test match normally starts at 11 am in England, with the lost overs due to weather conditions accommodated towards the end of the day's play. But bad light put paid to that in the second Test, prompting the ICC and the ECB to take this call.

If needed, the first session can now be two and half hours long with a scheduled close at 6 pm local time. There will be a 30-minute extension in case the overs are not bowled in time and if case of bad weather, play can be extended till 7 pm local time.

Quote
"The revised start times have been agreed with the captains and coaches of both England and Pakistan and will be implemented for the final match of this series."

After the heavily hampered second Test because of rain, the match officials came under heavy scrutiny for their approach as bad light continued to impact play.

This is very strong point but I am feeling England is not going to be in final its India vs Australia/New Zealand because these two teams are much better then England even they are playing in England or home.

3rd if it happens without any interruption is going to be a good contest as both teams will play their best of the match and England will want to make it 2-0 and other hand Pakistan will try to win and draw this series. Also, need to check if any of the team will make any chances in their side or will continue with the same team.

In all probability the 3rd test will end up as a draw, as the weather predictions are not that promising. In that case, England will end up with 66 points from the series, which would put them at a severe disadvantage against teams such as Australia and New Zealand in the ICC World Test Championship. Pakistan won't be happy either, as they wasted a chance for a victory during the first test. Had they won the first test, then they could have ended up with 66 points.

I only hope that we are able to see the complete third match rather than rain playing a spoil sport. I am sure if the third test match gets played then there is a high chance of it being a close one. Pakistan will try everything to win the last test.

England team dint got chance to bat as well or say they dint had any practice of batting in this test match. Also, on last day till now it is raining and might just end without even a ball being bowled.
It looks like the rain god's have listened to your cries  Cheesy. I was wondering why England is batting when the match is done and dusted rather than taking rest and going back to their hotels and there is no way a result could be made but it is good time to improve the average of batsman as there is no pressure about a result Cheesy.
Hope we will be able to see the next match without any interruption and if there are signs of rain its better to go for a draw .

Pakistan should be happy for the second test, the way they batted first it was pretty clear they would have lost the 2 test match. The next test is crucial if Pakistan wins the third test, the series would end in a draw. England would not want to lose the last test match. if the weather again plays its part and the third test also is declared draw. then England will still win the series.

As I had posted earlier, weather predictions are not looking very promising as rain is expected for all the five days. In all probability, the third match may also end up as a draw and if that happens then England may end up with 66 points from this series and Pakistan will be having 26 in their kitty. Not a bad score for Pakistan, considering that a lot of people were expecting them to get zero points from this series.

Pink ball sounds reasonable, i guess.

Reading cricbuzz feed, it says both team got 13 WTC points each. It was supposed to be 3 games  40*3 = 120 points series. Both team should have get 20 each. So what's the logic here, can some one explain? or is it because they didn't get to finish first 2 inning?

Quote
So, what did the teams gain from this game? Well, 13 WTC points and that's handy indeed.
https://www.cricbuzz.com/live-cricket-scores/29079/eng-vs-pak-2nd-test-pakistan-tour-of-england-2020

Yes. As per the point system decided by the ICC for the World test championship, a win is awarded 40 points, while a draw is awarded 1/3rd of that many point (to each of the teams). The ICC made this decision, to discourage the test teams from preparing very flat tracks where a result may not be achieved even after 5 days of play (this has happened a lot in the sub-continent).

I got confused when i saw 13 points as i remember couple of games (SL vs Pak) where ICC gave half points to both teams, Looked into it their website and found this..

I try some about this why they give 13 points but until now have nothing but surely I will post after spending some more time about this issue but now another good news now ICC thinking about this badlight and rain and bringing new amendments hopefully these will works better https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/_/id/29680645/icc-mulling-possible-changes-bad-light-regulations
