@ChiBitCTy. Agreed. Also, the Chargers have a new general manager and head coach. It will not be very surprising if this is the beginning for a formation of a team that they want to bring to the playoff in 5 years and challenge for a superbowl. If this speculation is correct, the general manager will certainly need to trade and draft younger players for Jim Harbaugh to position around Justin Herbert. This might also be a longterm roadmap for the Chargers, I reckon.
I think they might be relying on Harbaughs knowledge of the upcoming college players and be looking to get some gems out of the draft and be looking forward to the next few years not having to pay high salaries. Everyone at the skill positions minus Herbert will be on rookie deals, they'll be able to do alot in free agency next year if their draft picks don't hit this year.

You are very much correct! Also on why some people are shaking their heads on the removal of Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, Keenan will be 32 years old and Williams is always injured. Ekeler was also injured during the beginning of the season and was he injured again during the season? The Chargers' new general manager clearly shows that the team does not want to pay them high salaries while they are in IR list. The teams that traded for them will certainly have problems.

There aren't any rumors for who's going to potentially replace Keenan Allen or Michael Williams for that matter.  If I'm Justin Herbert, I'm not a real happy camper at the moment having just lost my 3 best receivers (including Tight End Gerald Everett).

This is all money based decisions as the Chargers I belive were well over the cap or were just so high that they had little wiggle room, so cutting Mike Williams and asking Keenan Allen to take a pay cut (which he refused and why he's now a Chicago Bear) were money decisions.  Just a bit wild to take away (though often injured) two stud receivers from your young stud Quarterback. No offense to Herbert, but he's not Patrick Mahomes who only needs one really good reciever to win a championship, there's really no other QBs whom can do that..so they need to draft a WR stud and hit a jackpot, otherwise this team is shapping up to be absolutely garbage.

Oh yeah, they also lost Austin Eckler, their versatile RB.

Don't forget who their new offensive coordinator is. Both Greg Roman and Jim Harbaugh are known for their run-heavy offenses. Even though they acquired Gus Edwards, i wouldn't be surprised if they go into the second round and reach for Blake Corum, reuniting him with his college coach. As you said, Chargers are very thin at wide receiver with Palmer and Johnston, but it's plain obvious what they want to do there, passing game is certainly not a priority. Lol, one of their first new signings (Will Dissly) is a run-blocking tight end.

Imagine if pic related actually happen. Can the Bengals make it work though, contract-wise, can they fit all three of them?

If Jefforson stays to play in Minnesota with those bums they have at quarterback, he's going to get murdered on one of those hospital balls. Not worth it.

What is this picture? Jamar Chase and Joe Burrow in the Vikings or Justin Jefferson traded to the Bengals hehehe.

I reckon they can make it work if they trade some players like Tee Higgins and if they can trick Chase to accept a low upgrade to his rookie contract hehe. However, if he wants to win a superbowl with the Bengals, he should accept.

When I was just hanging out last night, somewhere around 10pm, the last thing I expected to come across my phone was a Fantasy Pros new update saying that the Chicago Bears have traded for Keenan Allen.  While Keenan is getting in his latter years (NFL player wise) he's one hell of a player, and getting him for only a 4th round pick is great value.

I am all for bringing in Caleb Williams, but either way, bringing him in or keeping Fields, the Bears are loaded at receiving options, with WR1-DJ Moore, WR2-Keenan Allen, TE1-Cole Kmet, TE2-Gerald Everett ..loving it.

The new coach appears to be starting to make important changes on the Chargers. Who is rumored to replace Keenan Allen?

To be clear, the real replacement for Allen on the depth chart would be Malik Nabers, who the Chargers will presumably pick in the first round. Nabers will come in as the WR1 on the depth chart and will (hopefully) keep this passing offense from drowning.

But in the sense of bringing in a current NFL player to replace Allen on the depth chart, Gallup may be the most likely candidate because of his ties to Lal. Joe Hortiz has proven this offseason that existing ties to the coaching staff is important and could shoot someone up the priority list.

This is still pretty wild to me.  I just can't believe a 6th is all we were able to get.  Steelers got themselves a steal.

Damn, was expecting a lot more than a 6th round pick (potentially a 4th rounder) in return for Justin Fields. I’m am glad however that they have officially moved on from Fields, paving the way for Caleb Williams to come in and be the man from point one. Just a bit shocking the Patriots getting a 6th round pick for Mac Jones, but Fields couldn’t bring in something higher, I guess I just don’t it.

Hope y’all are having a good weekend!

That literally would be insane.  It would be exactly like LSU was that year shattering records.  I kinda want to see it happen.  Unsure of theor cap room and Minnesota wanting to trade him but I'd be an every Sunday watcher of their games. Might as well just get rid of theor running backs and just play with a 6 man line amd 4 wideluts every play 😅
If Burrow and Chase(Mostly Burrow) restructured their deals, they could open up some cap space and make it happen. It's a matter of what Minnesota wants for Jefferson at that point. I have a feeling they're gonna want a haul for JJ though. If this did happen though, Bengals would be a force to reckon with in the AFC.

Yeah something to the tune of a couple first round picks and possibly a player or 2.  Jettas will be coming into his prime not sure if Minnesota is going full blast rebuild.  If they were gonna go this route I'm not sure why they wouldn't have taken a shot at Russell Wilson on a one year deal.  Russ pretty much guaranteed the starting job.  Would have made sense.  But hey how who am I to say.

You wake up from a one-day coma and decide to check on your favorite franchise, ah shit, you can't recognize your team's roster anymore. Lol   It's crazy how many moves have taken place in the last 24 hours. It might be the first day since the Super Bowl that i've actually missed football.

Some quick/early thoughts on a few of the signings:

Saquon Barkley to the Eagles. For some reason, i don't like it, i think it is more or less a lateral move. Swift can do almost everything Saquon does but for less money, and Barkley has a history of injuries. Eagles had more pressing issues to address than adding a new RB. For example, their defense, terrible secondary play, and some of the worst tackling i've ever seen...why not fix that?

Christian Wilkins, the Dolphins DT to the Raiders. He and Maxx Crosby on the same dline look scary. I like how the Raiders rallied around their interim head coach to turn things around late in the season. Losing Josh Jacobs is huge, but i suppose you can't have everything.

The Vikings' QB room looks bleak now that Cousins has moved to Atlanta. Darnold, Mullens, Dobbs, and Hall, i mean who do you start? Not ideal for J. Jefferson dynasty managers.

The King is on the move. Sources say the #Ravens are expected to land #Titans star RB Derrick Henry. After attempting to trade for him a few times, Baltimore signs him now. 👑
Henry gets a 2-year, $16M deal worth up to $20M with $9M guaranteed.

Not only is that bad for fantasy managers but Jefferson proclaimed that he loved playing with cousins.  Did ypu just piss him off enough to split town when he becomes a free agent.  Minnesota better figure out theor immediate plan forward or they might slide into a complete new rebuilding.  If they are I'd trade jettas for some crazy draft capital right now.  Trading to a fringe contender could net some good draft capital.

I'm starting to wonder at this point whether it makes any sense keeping what many would argue is the best wide receiver in the league (I don't believe this, but he certainly makes my top 3-5).  He's too good to rot away behind some half-ass QB, and as of right now, that's exactly what the Vikings have, half ass QBs.  I do wonder if they have any interest in Justin Fields.  I guess I'm trying to squeeze Fields in somewhere, I expected his market to be much more robust.  I think this lack of market says a lot for Fields and why moving on from him makes sense.  He's just not that good.

Fields might be a good spot for him actually.  Has someone ready made to help him along.  Does jettas want to be with a primarily running qb.  I've seen a lot of recent mocks that have Minnesota trading picks with chargers to jump to the 5 hole and drwft McCarthy.  Makes zero sense to keep JJ if that's the case.  Trade JJ for draft capital if that's the case and draft that boy some protection or beef up the defense.  For me McCarthy is gonna take a hot second to get his feet wet, doesn't seem like his game will transition easy to sundays.

Wow, what a week of free agent signings it's been so far!  I honestly can't remember a week with this much action going on in the "legal tampering" period like there has been this year.  The one thing I'm certainly surprised about as well as not very happy about is the fact that Justin Fields is still a Chicago Bear.  There's a number of factors that go in to play with this, but I was really hoping the Bears could at least snag a 2nd rounder for him.  There's still some time, but that window is shrinking by the day.

The San Francisco 49ers losing their run stopper and captain because they wanted him to take a lower salary is going to hurt them. When you look at the numbers when he was out the Niners run defense was terrible. I get that they want to boost their receiver core, but I don’t think they stand a chance of getting back to the Super Bowl now with their run defense.

As a giants fan this sucks!  Now I have to watch saquon run all over the giants twice a year.  I figured he would go to Philly if they offered, he was a Philly guy.  Can't blame him since the giants refused to give him a long term contract.  In other news the giants signed their long snapper to a new contract, whoo hoo.  Seriously it's important since they will be punting and kicking field goals most of the season Sad
