With just 4 days left before the start of the NFL-2021 season,
Still I can remember that 5th turnover in last year's Steelers vs Browns match. First, I assumed Browns would lose, but Steelers weren't paying attention to the Browns and Cleveland Browns was trying to get that win and was playing like that. then I didn't think the Steelers would lose so badly. Steelers could have scored a few more points, but it turned out that the game was over before the 2nd half, and the Browns won that match by a huge margin of 48-37.

Doomed to see the future and unable to prevent it
The season is about to start and now it comes the time to take some important decisions, I am really happy with my RBs I think that was the best part of my draft, however I am thinking on sending Ezekiel Elliot to the bench and play Gus Edwards instead as I have the feeling that TB is going to destroy the Dallas defense and on the second half they will begin to throw the ball all over the place to catch up and will forget about the running game, this is good for those which drafted Dak, Lamb and Copper but not for me.

And about the TE position, I have a lot of options but I still think I am going to play Gronk. Roll Eyes

I'm finding the same issue, I can't believe I'm going to have Thielen ride the bench! Amazing having Zek ride the bench when he's healthy but I see your logic. Also it may very well take a few weeks for the cowgirls to get their act together this year. Gus won't have much in the way of competition and should get a ton of work on a team that loves to pound the ball.

I have a feeling Gronk is going to come out like gangbusters after his superbowl success.
I bet he really misses those accolades from years past.
The only question is is his body up to it?

So looks like That Moron Cam couldn't even learn the playbook and the rookie was trying to help him!
The exact opposite of what was supposed to be happening. I can't believe how many Cam lovers out there have no clue what a worthless piece of garbage that guy is.

NFL's Baltimore Ravens wide receiver "James Proche" has been fined 4567 US dollars. The NFL has been mentioned as a reason for this, Proche is liable for his 'unscrupulous behavior'. But the very interesting fact is, he was not shown any penalty flags on the field. Tongue

Meanwhile, Proche's teammate "Tylan Wallace" was shown a penalty flag while celebrating his touchdown. But he was not fined despite being shown the flag, lol.  Cheesy

So I noticed this guy Trey Lance sitting on the waiver wire looking all lonely and shit and said Hey, I got a bench spot maybe I'll give that poor guy a home!

So I heard this guy is pretty good, how come he was on the wire when all you guys drafted two QB's Huh

Well clearly I wouldn't put much stock into this because this is wrong: there's no way wheelz and I can both be #1 and #2, because we're in the same division. So you can still fantasize about being #2 and wheelz will have to be #3 obviously.

Obviously by that logic I am number 7!

I shall fantasize accordingly. Cheesy

Edit: Just realized the East division is completely stacked and I have the worst chances to make the playoffs, we have not even began playing and I am already close to being eliminated, so unless my sleepers hit and Wilson can play the whole season and not just the first half then it is already game over for me. Sad

Lol, those projections will change week to week.  It looks like you have about as much chance to make the playoffs as anyone in the western conference.  Our chances are all below 50%.

Wheelz and Nutildah had a great draft, but I'm satisfied with mine. I had planned to draft another RB with my third pick, but took Metcalf instead, and was tempted by Allen for my fourth pick.  I should have compensated on the next round, but again temptations got in the way.  None the less, I think I'm in a good position.  Realistically, it's hard to screw up a draft with only 8 players in the league. Next year I'll make a point of mimicking wheelz and drafting RBs in the first three rounds.

Mahomes is so consistent, I don't know what I was thinking rushing to get Justin Herbert. Anyway, I'm pretty happy with my lineup, other than my players are all over the place and its not conducive to trying to watch and enjoy a particular game over the weekend.
Mahomes missed 3 games two years ago so it is not a bad idea to have a backup, but if you want to take the risk  you could either drop him and get another player from the waiver or trade him for a piece you lack. After Brady was selected I was thinking on picking Herbert but you did it first and I had to pick Wilson.

Overall I am happy with the players I picked, however with the Odell pick I really ran out of time and I could have picked someone else if I had 10 more seconds, also all of you went heavy on TE as well, I was about to pick TJ but wheelz did so two picks ahead of me on the 11th round, when that happened I realized I had to go with 6 RBs and only 1 TE, so I am playing Gronk all season unless I can pick a TE from the waiver or I can trade for one.

According to the ESPN prediction thingy you and wheelz are the top dogs (pardon the pun) but someone said earlier that anyone has a chance to win until week 5-6 so I'm gonna go with that.

Someone drafted Trevor Lawrence before me. I am not sure if he was drafted before old man Brady or after him. I reckon he will be needing someone young because his knees might not handle a whole season. He is 43 years old?

That was me. I think it was many rounds after you got the old man. My primary is Lamar. I don't know how much sense it makes to have a backup QB but we'll see.

Hehehe okay. I liked my pick on Brady, however, after some rounds I remembered Manny Pacquiao. I thought that there might be a possbility of his decline this season. My first choice was for a reserve was Trevor Lawrence, second choice Stafford. Stafford might have a good year for fantasy according to experts.

No, you should absolutely drop Stafford, he's horrible and doesn't have a chance on the Rams. Hell he's got all those shitty receivers and such a weak O-line I don't know why anyone drafted him. Wink

You have probably the most interesting backup QB, the rookie boy wonder for Jax. One QB I am rooting for didn't get picked at all: Tagovailoa. But he will likely make a good pick up during somebody's bye week.

OK, I have had the worst draft but I think alot of these guys are underrated and will have bounce back years. I gambled on most of them grabbing them way before ADP and it shows on the overall weakness of my team. Looks like I was drafting for 2019 !!!!

Here is our week 1 matchups and as is plainly obvious I am WAY in last place! Cheesy

In the covid Era, backups are huge.  And then there's the teams bye week, and any week to week injuries.  Having a decent backup for your positions is sometimes just as important as having a solid starting squad.

Right, but with 8 teams even assuming everyone drafted 2 QBs (which not everyone did as I'm looking through teams now) we would still have half of league's starting QBs remaining. I do envy Tamalpais Temptations QB picks though Smiley

But at least now I have someone I can cut to make room for a second kicker on a bye week.

NO! You guys have to keep 2 QBs so I have less to pick from.

Its all part of my master plan! Cheesy

Drafting Saquon in back to back days with my first pick, it's a make or break year not only for him but for me. "No risk it, no biscuit", right? I really need him to replicate his rookie year stats but that Giants team gonna suck, ahhh...i don't mind garbage time TDs though, i'm not picky.  Grin

Anyways, how is everybody liking their squads so far? I swear i had 30+ mock drafts completed in the last few weeks, Dak, Mixon, and Allen Robinson are making my roster for the first time...Lol

I like my 12-team half ppr squad so much better, getting Diggs at 19, well below his adp/ecr, was amazing:

allen, diggs, diontae, barkley, jacobs, firkser with pittman/j.williams or waddle at flex

I swer you guys literally nabbed 3 or 4 guys the spot right before I was going to grab them!

what a fun draft I was yelling at you fuckers the whole time!

I don't think I've yelled "NOOOOO" at the screen more times in my life! Cheesy

Should be real interesting with me swapping out QB's along the way.

I missed 2 of them (Lamar and Wilson) right as they were about to hit.

You guys made some real outstanding picks and grabbed a few guys I thought I was going to be able to Snipe like Antonio Brown , Evans and  Metcalf way before ADP.

Well Fuck Guys, I spent an hour or so yesterday editing my pre draft strategy list and just signed in to have the page open and its all gone.

Fuck didn't even notice you have to hit Save rankings button!

The goddamn button should not scroll off the screen as you scroll down or at least should prompt you.

Anyway just pointing this out so it doesn't happen to any of you guys especially if you just planned on jumping in there setting it and letting it auto.

Oops... Yeah I think it auto-saves in Yahoo if memory serves.

I thought it over and I'm not picking McCaffrey... so those down the draft line, do with that info what you will. I'd be a real stinker if I said all this just to do a head fake and draft him anyway, lol. Until then, get ready to draw!

Well guess I shoulda checked the thread right before the draft!  Got waylaid for a few hours before hand.

You threw me a real curve ball there taking Henry when I though he was my first pick Smiley
