Psychotics get their first win of the season!

Will be tough to do when the opposing team is borderline cheating:

He's bored running through people and getting TDs on the ground, that's just too easy. iirc he had one against Baltimore two years ago in the postseason. Funnily enough, the first TD of the day was also a trick play, Bourne to Agholor.  What's up with the Chiefs though, no touchdowns, turnovers all over the place, can't stop anybody from scoring...?

My three-game winning streak come to an end, congrats to bbc.reporter! You just can't win if the opposing kicker outscores your WR1/RB2, you can't.

Elijah Mitchell 100 rush yards and a TD, who says no?  Grin

LOL King Henry is something else.  I still would have rather him scored a rushing TD vs a passing TD (4 points vs 6 points), but I won't complain too much  Cheesy  This is why having a top 3-4 pick is such a massive advantage, having King Henry is a cheat code.  Crazy to see the Chiefs playing so poorly.  Something needs to change for them and quick.
The Chiefs are getting slaughtered, while Mahomes is doing what he can it seems the league has finally caught up with their offense, Mahomes plays a high risk style of football and while this has worked in the past he made a lot of high risk throws which could have been intercepted but he got away with it, now defenses are playing two deep safeties all game and they do not fear the running game of the Chiefs, this limits the explosive plays and Mahomes has to throw the football more than usual, this increases the chances for something wrong happening, which explains his 9 interceptions during this year.

I might be 26 points favorite over Mars Elon Muks before the early games begin, but those projections don't really inspire much confidence in me, they never have. lol   I'm prepared for yet another anxiety-packed Sunday contest, just how we like it here.

My boy, Saquon Barkley is probably out until GW 9, Giants have a bye in GW 10, and play against the best rush defense in GW 11 (Bucs). He will be fire come playoffs GW 15/16, cant' wait!  Cheesy

I've got a few plays to keep my blood pressure high in case i get away with a big lead and pick 4th win in a row:

T. McLaurin Anytime Score; T. McLaurin 55+ rec yards @3.57 W
Chiefs ML; D. Henry Anytime Score @2.20 L
D. Henderson Anytime Score; Rams -6.5 @1.88 L

My bold prediction for this week: Godwin, Woods, D. Adams each score 2TDs, and Psychotics get their first win of the season!  Tongue

Gl, everyone!

@nutildah. Indianapolis Colts +3.5 might be good for a bet. I have not followed these 2 teams very closely, however, the Indianapolis Colts is 4 - 2 against the spread and San Francisco 49ers is only 1 - 4 against the spread. Also, there is argument that Colts might win because San Francisco is on a losing streak and has not won in their home stadium?

The interesting thing about D'Ernest James is that he was picked up by 71.7% of leagues last week; prior to that he was only held by only 0.2%.

Works well because I was short of a solid RB2.

Lot of ugly games this week, and then some "meh" ones. The most fun game for me will be Chief/Titans, with the Chiefs giving a questionable 4.5 to the Titans. "Questionable" because Henry has been on such a rampage that he's on pace to destroy a lot of records if he stays healthy, some which he set 3 years in a row.

Damn, having a KC-heavy offense I really should bet against them, and then probably lose by a couple points in the spread.

The two most useless games are Rams/Lions with a 16-pt spread and Cardinals/Texans with a whopping 18-pt spread. Jeez does nobody have faith in either of those two dogs.

Then Monday's game will be fun to watch as the Saints are favored by 4.5 to beat the 'Hawks. I'm gonna assume Wilson is still out. Is Geno Smith really that bad? We'll know for sure by the end of the gameweek.

I don't have a solid pick for this week but part of me thinks Titans have a real chance of pulling off another upset, so I'm putting low-confidence wager on them covering.

Well I couldn't have been anymore wrong.  Dude tore it up tonight.  140 yards rushing and a td and topped it off with a couple catches for 22 yards.  He shredded Denver all night they had no answer for him.  Whoever has him contrats.

If you had to guess without looking who would you bet he was playing against? Smiley

I gotcha, in my other league the person had a bunch of people on bye and had to "settle" with Johnson as his rb.  It never fails where I look at the matchup and think this is a lock.  Then a dude who was previously a fisherman comes in and has the best night he probably will ever have in the NFL.  ...so I feel.your pain 😅

I saw this lol.  Man if you end up losing this week to him that would be pretty frustrating being that I think off the top of my head he's got the second to worst team in the league..poor Anon not having picked up a W yet this year lol.  Worst part of all that game last night was easily the most boring game of the year, so on top of that awful game you had to see his back up back up RB go off  Cheesy

@South Park. Thank you, I copied your post to a notepad for future reference hehe.

In any case, who was the lucky player who got D'Ernest Jones? If I read suchmoon’s post I would have cancelled my first choice waiver wire for Chris Evans which I also dropped. I added Kenyan Drake. What is everyone’s rating for him?

Yeah he was the fantasy of the week pick up but I'm not convinced on him actually doing well.  All their wrs are banged up and back up in.  Guarantee browns see a lot of 8 in the box daring them to pass.  If you are short an rb definately a good pickup but he isn't going to be the answer, rarely is a third stringer a ff darling.

If I knew and studied the rules more closely D'Ernest Johnson would have been in my fantasy team hehe. Javonte Williams scored a touchdown for me, however. He gave me 11 fantasy points, 3 more than the projection. I am now hoping my other replacement running back, Kenyan Drake will give me at least 8 points.

@nutildah. He is the runningback waiver wire pick up of the week according to fantasypros.com hehe.
In fact you did not needed to cancel your first waiver wire pick, if you know there is going to be a player that could be in high demand by several members around the league then it makes sense to try to pick him first and then pick the players that are uncontested later.

It seems you created the claim for Evans before the one for Johnson and this gave the claim for Evans priority and was executed first, which gave nutildah a chance to grab Johnson before you could during your second pick, if you had changed the priority and put Johnson above Evans you could have picked both.

Don't you guys mean D'Ernest Johnson?  Wait a minute... Did both of you guys just misspell an athletes name?   Shocked

I hope the alt police don't notice!

The waivers got away from me this week, I was thinking of swapping Chris Evans for a receiver.  Too late now.

The alt police always notice. This forum is taking very seriously. It is like a jihad here hehehe.

I had Chris Evans only for 1 day but I have dropped and replaced him with Kenyan Drake immediately after the Q beside his name.

@nutildah. What time did you claim for D'Ernest Jones in the waiver wire? I am trying claim him also, I did it  yesterday, about 5 AM forum time hehehe. Does the waiver wire give it to the person who claimed the player first?
Think of the waiver wire as a deck of cards, it has 8 cards with our names on them ordered to the inverse of our record and the tie breakers, or to put it simply the worst teams pick first, when your card is at the top you have the chance to pick someone from the waiver and who do you pick depends on: the waiver priority you assigned, the player you want is still available and whether or not you can drop the player you elected to drop, the time at which you made the selection makes no difference in the order in which all of this happens.

Once you have selected a player your card which was at the top goes to the bottom and the second card now becomes the top and now a new manager has the chance to select a player from the wire.

Now if when the time comes a manager decides to not pick anyone or they cannot pick anyone as the player they wanted has already been grabbed by someone else from the wire then they still retain their position at the top and they are skipped from the subsequent rounds, this is useful during the next waivers as now you can pick some players which were cut from the rosters of other teams, this is what happened this week with DireWolfM14, which were at the 5th position at the beginning of this week and now they occupy the 1st spot.
