Does anyone have any tips for today's two games? I'm rooting for Browns and Bucs to advance but probably not gonna happen, that's why i'm on the lookout for suggestions to perhaps tail.

I was considering total points for the Browns/Chiefs game as I imagine it would be a boom or bust game for Browns and their defense is kinda meh, but the current over/under at ~56 is quite ridiculous I think. So I'm sticking with Browns +14.5 and Bucs +7.5 for today. Which is to say that you should probably do the opposite Grin

I knew GB was going to wax the Rams. Goff has been regressing all year and Rodgers is obviously this years MVP who’s on a mission to silence all his haters from his last season struggles.  Also figured the same for the Bills.  So what did I do about these strong gut feelings ? Let my buddy get in my head and made no bets last night lol.  Cry

So today gotta go with my gut..I do best personally when betting spreads and normally try staying under 7pts but I just can’t see the Browns being able to keep up with the future  🐐.  Only hesitation is Clyde Edwards being out. Does this injury scare you off ?

Bucs / Saints ..man, impossible game to call. Can’t wait to watch that showdown!!

SB prediction - GB vs KC  - KC back to back champs

Edit - now looking at KC vs spreads of late..I’m hesitating a bit. Haven’t covered I don’t think since the Jets early Nov. Tough one here.

Missed two now. This is turning out to be one of those doink doink games.

The one that Tucker made was so damn close of hitting the post again, 3/3 would've made him the new doink king (sorry, Cody Parkey).  Grin

A little bragging time, i got my both bets right this time, very proud of my Diggs to score anytime prediction, if not for the wind, he was likely to score more than once, this dude is so good, both he and Allen have great chemistry together, awesome to watch. #Billieve  Cheesy

The winds are strong in Buffalo. This partly might have made the Ravens miss the field goal.

Edit: horrible luck for Ravens... oh well. Bills played great short-pass football tonight and the interception sealed it. Well done, wind be damned.

Goff looks significantly better, i mean his throws compared to last week. That TD at the end the half was crucial, game was getting away from them, will see if that will be enough as A.Donald and their defense can't get to Rodgers, Rams are lucky GB didn't have 20 more seconds on that final drive, might have scored another TD. Packers offense is methodical, can beat in so many different ways, the only thing missing so far is one of their signature big plays to Adams/Valdes-Scantling, but i'm sure they will take the short/medium plays the Rams are giving them so far, still 9pts isn't much, let's see if the snow will play a role in the second half can we get some snow, please?  Cheesy

Ty's been quiet, wonder who he likes this weekend.

Hehe, I already wrote my leans here and this is still valid as of now Grin There wasn't much movement in the odds and lines as expected; at this stage the odds are close to perfect unless some unforeseen things happen, like injuries/Covid/DUI/domestic violence etc., lol.

I still think the Rams are a bit too high, but we have to factor the weather in and Goff and his thumb in cold temperatures, phew. He is generally not that good/experienced in cold weather, see this tweet and the graphics. So in the end these odds are probably ok and not worth a bet.

The over in Buffalo I like the most, this is a few points too low for my liking. These two teams beat over 49.5 only twice when playing each other, but the Bills defense is shitty in the end I think, while they are always capable of scoring a lot - which they will have to today. And because I trust the Ravens defense more, I also like them ML.

Browns HC/ML has quite some value I think, but I can understand why people are scared to put money on them Cheesy You always have this high-powered KC offense in mind, which can basically score at will, but they are not that good anymore. And they struggled quite a bit this season. There is always this one team surprising in the PO's and I think it could be the Browns this year. People are waiting for KC to explode, but I don't see it tbh. That being said, it's still more likely for KC to advance Wink

Saints/Bucs is fairly priced and if all goes according to plan, Saints should have this, because their defense is just better.

What happened to your thread btw ? Don't give up, these kind of threads are interesting Smiley Maybe add some stats, record, P/L etc.

For the SB I would like to see the Saints from NFC and the Bills from AFC. Saints because I always liked them and especially Brees (and their jerseys, lol, I even had one of them, Reggie Bush) and Bills because I want to see the very disturbing pics of the Bills fans celebrations Grin

I watched all six games but I really only liked the ones that I won. The other two were severely disappointing, how could they throw the game just because they knew I bet on them. How dare they.

I'm gonna be rooting for the Rams but in no way betting on them.

Baltimore/Buffalo will be the most exciting game IMO... looking forward to that one as well.

I don't know what to make of the spread on the Chiefs/Browns game; I think its probably a little high but it doesn't attract my money.

For a bet I find Bucs/Saints to be the most interesting game. I don't know how I'm going to play it yet but I like the idea of only betting on the last game so I don't sulk through the remaining games of the weekend.

Since the SB is getting closer and closer let me ask you what are your favourite teams to get to the big game?

I've mentioned a couple of times already... I'd like Ravens vs Bucs, not the least because I'd make some money if that happens Grin

I was never Brady's fan to put it mildly but being able to do what he's doing now in a different team at his age is quite impressive. And Lamar... well, he's pretty much the opposite of Brady in many ways. Ravens' defense is better. Bucs' offensive line seems to be better. Barring any major injuries it would be a spectacular game.

Lamar is just unlucky to be in the same conference as Mahomes but maybe Browns can help him with that LOL.

In my case I will like to see Ravens vs Saints, Lamar is simply too exciting and I am sure the guy will give a tremendous performance on the SB, and I would like to see Brees to at least get to the big game as to me this seems like his last dance as the injuries he has been suffering this season are serious, I was about to write that I would like to see the Buccaneers since it would be an interesting story to see Brady getting to the SB and playing at home but Brady has enough rings already.

@mrob82. Which sportbook offers those teasers? The Packers down to pickem is a very good offer. I reckon the Rams with +6.5 and the best defense in the regular season might make it a very close game and cover the handicap.
You can place teasers on nitrogensports and if you tease both of the said spreads you'd get -110/1.9. I'm thinking of doing the same bet and skip the other two.

Also, the Bills in their home stadium, this is the playoffs and it is only -2.5 hehe. Bills might win with more than 3 points.

Just put in a massive teaser on Chiefs and Packers.  Got Chiefs down to -4 and Packers to a pick'em.  Browns might hang in for a while but I think Mahomes will show up.  I just see Packers winning by at least 7-13 pts.

Think kc goes to the big game again.  They just have so many weapons and can score in an instant.

I know, it's a long shot. But Chiefs looked kinda wobbly in the last two games with Mahomes (against Saints and particularly Falcons) and we've also seen what Browns did to "rested" Steelers so fingers crossed.

Shockingly even after the Buckeyes loss and the bad bets last weekend I still have money left... so I've set my bets up for next weekend. I'm probably overcompensating for underdogs now but whatever.

Packers -3.5
Ravens +4.5
Buccaneers +7.5
Browns +14.5

And I still got Ravens & Bucs for SB... amazingly those odds are now lower than when I started, or perhaps not that amazing since they're still in and 6 teams dropped out.

Go Browns.

I like any spread over a touchdown against Brady in the playoffs.  Rare that he gets blown out in the playoffs so I've been thinking that one as well.  Might parlay the chiefs -10 and bucs +7.5 on this one.  Think kc goes to the big game again.  They just have so many weapons and can score in an instant.

Did anyone watch all six games?

Not on my ass, but the TV was on all day, both days.  The only game I sat down to watch was last night's Browns @ Steelers.

I agree the NFL is desperately trying to cash in any way they can.  I get the feeling that most of their big advertisers are seeing the same thing the fans are; too many commercials and no where near enough football.

And for all those football junkies out there, don't forget that there is the College final today Smiley The over/under is at a whopping 75 Shocked Grin
College kids... zero defense. I got Ohio State ML.

I placed a small bet on Ohio State ML with 3.45 odds as well.  The way they handled Clemson was quite impressive, and the way that college teams are ranked for the championships is a joke.  I regret not betting on their game with Clemson because I suspected they were underrated.

Dam Ohio state got manhandled last night.  Davonta Smith is probably the best wide receiver I've ever seen come out of college.  If I were the jets at #2 I'd be taking davonta Smith without question, not even fielding calls for the pick.  Dude is a game changer.

With that being said Browns going to Kansas City, i think the buck stops here.  I'm all over Kansas city on this one -10.

Did anyone watch all six games? I watched most of the Ravens-Titans game except maybe a couple of snaps. All others just intermittently. I understand what NFL is trying to do here with peddling TV rights to different channels and trying to make more money by creating more games but no sane person is going to spend nearly 10-11 hours two days in a row on this... and sure as shit they're not going to buy more trinkets from the ads so it's a zero sum game at best.
Myself after watching all six games.

The GF after the same six games.

Totally worth it. Cool

But seriously I watched the six games as a challenge more than anything, and the game between the Bears and the Saints was especially painful to watch, the rest of the games had at least something that made them interesting, even the game between the Browns and the Steelers was interesting in a way as the Browns were relentless and they took decades of frustrations on the poor Steelers, but the Bears had nothing to do on the postseason, if the Cardinals had qualified instead we would have seen a more interesting game.
