Ravens putting pressure on the Titans. Looking like this one might come down to the last drive of the game. With less than 5 minutes to go and a 7 point lead, this is shaping up to be a good candidate for overtime. Great wildcard game!

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
Oh my god, the announcers are acting like it's the end of the end for Baltimore: "Lamar threw and interception, the Titans are up 10-nothing, neither of these teams are built to come from behind... Bla bla bla!"  It's just the end of the first quarter for fuck's sake.

Maybe I'm just bitter because I may have picked wrong, lol.
The media like many times before is just trying to create a story out of nowhere, remember back in the day when Peyton Manning could not win in the playoffs and they called him a good regular season QB? They just forgot to mention he played against a Brady that made no mistakes, a defence coached by Belichick and he had to play in some of the worst weather playoff conditions we have seen in the last 20 years, Lamar is a good QB but since he is not your standard QB he receives a lot of undeserved criticism.

It's just so that they could say how it's the first time in 20 years that a team has won after trailing by 10 points at end of the 1st on the second Sunday of January on an odd-numbered year or some such useless stats.

Anyway, Lamar undid the 10 point lead already.

Here's what i got for the Ravens @ Titans matchup:

Ravens 1+ FG + Each team O1.5 TDs + M.Brown 35+ rec yards total odds 1.92 lost

J.Tucker has scored at least one FG in their last three games for BAL, the O/U in this game is pretty high at 54, bookies and i expect some TDs to be scored, M.Brown is Ravens deep-threat guy, he has had multiple 40+ yard catches this season.

L.Jackson 60+ rush yards + A.J.Brown 55+ rec yards total odds 1.98 won

80 and 97 rush yards for Lamar in their last two games, i feel like he can top 60 sleep-walking, he had close to 150 last postseason iirc, as for A.J.Brown, this one is risky as BAL has the best passing defense in the last three games and are top 6 on the season, but if Titans get behind they will need some big yard plays and Brown is their guy along with Corey Davis.

L.Jackson Anytime score + D.Henry Anytime score total odds 3.20 lost

Teams best players to score a rushing TD, a no brainer?

Redskins defense has no pass rush? They are giving Tom Brady much space to throw the ball.

They did bring him down once or twice and Brady threw a lot of incompletes so he seems to be pressured quite a bit.

Edit: it looks like your +8.5 and my -3.5 will get covered... whew.

Also, why did the Colts choose to throw the ball on the 4th down instead of the field goal to force an overtime?

Playoff Brady is not the same as regular season Brady.  Dont think they are going to slow him down.  WTF needs long sustained drives to keep him off the field.  Get a turnover possibly.  But I still see this game as a ~30-13 game.  Dude looks alright but he is still a practice squad qb.  He was a backup in xfl going to be rough coming from a multi digit deficit in one half against the bradys

Damn you jinxed it and my third bet of the day is going wrong... let me try to counter-jinx. "Heineken" is playing better than Brady so far. He'll run for two more touchdowns and win the Super Bowl too.

Edit: just traveling back in time to clarify - this was posted after Heinicke scored a TD and made it 16-18... spoiler alert - counter-jinx will fix this.

Heinicke isn't playing bad at all, right? Kid's passes are on point, quick feet, moves well out of the pocket. I will give him a pass on the interception, the ball was deflected, he had one bad sack where he almost fumbled but that's it. If WFT can get something on the ground, Gibson has just 20 rushing yards, i'm not saying they can beat Tampa, but at least make it competitive to the end, their defense has to step up for that to happen, Brady picking them apart with 200/2tds.

I just don't see the Rams winning here given their QB situation. Sad to root against "my team" for money but what are you gonna do.

Bittersweet victory there?  Sorry for the loss of your funds, but congrats to the Rams and Goff for the win.

They are likely to be off to Green Bay next weekend.  If they can handle the Packers like they did the Seahawks, I think they can make it to the big dance.

Bills -3.5

I'm off to a good start LOL

Now I gotta root for seachickens ugh

It was a bit too close for comfort for me, but what a game! It was a nailbiter. And it was supposed to be an easy one on my path to a 4- and 6-leg parlay. This next one is only a must-win for half my bet... I just don't see the Rams winning here given their QB situation. Sad to root against "my team" for money but what are you gonna do.

The odds for the Seahawks went up throughout the week, but are coming down a bit now and I placed a bet on them ML @1.60 (as well).

That's comforting.

The rams waited all the way up to the end to name the starting qb.  With the backup in, settle definately has a leg up.  You are going to see a lot of running plays from the rams.  I like the under on this game bigtime...and seattle spread

Lol both of these are looking awful right now.

With that being said Alex Smith out and Taylor Heineke starting for the WTF.  Think this one is going to be the most lop sided game of the weekend.  Bucs -8.5 might be the best bet of the weekend.

(Now here comes a 17-14 game  Grin)

Hehe yes. 4th quarter was for the Colts. This is the perfect result for me, however. Colts +6.5 covers the spread and Mr. MVP Josh Allen goes to the divisional round.

Going on 4th down (take the FG instead) when you absolutely don't have to, your kicker missing an extra point, failed 2-pt conversion which was by the way pointless, wasting a precious timeout which might have helped you late in the game, i mean this could have played a lot better for the Colts, don't you think?  Roll Eyes

I'm 1/2 on my bets, my main prop one hit with ease, Allen/Diggs and Taylor...but lost the other, needed 10 more yards from D.Knox.

I have nothing for the next two games today, i'm leaving all my ammo for Ravens/Titans matchup where i think have some good lines spotted.

This Super Wild Card Weekend is crazy I am getting worried that I will have to pull off a Homer Simpson if I want to watch the 3 games 2 days in a row.

Lol, I think the NFL is banking on it.  Their revenues have been steadily declining over the last few years, and I'm sure the empty stadiums of 2020 only made things worse.  The NFL is set to vote on a 17-game schedule this offseason, and it looks like a shoe-in.  They're trying hard to combat what appears to be a lack of interest among younger Americans.

Josh Allen's ability to throw on the run is frightening unless you're a Bills fan.

Seems like he's as natural at it as Patrick Mahomes.  I remember when mobile quarterbacks, rolling to the right (or left if he wore #8) were the norm in the NFL.  Then Belichick came on the seen with Drew Bledsoe and Tom Brady and everything changed.  Now all that's old is new again.

Philip Rivers doesn't seem to care though.

The odds for the Seahawks went up throughout the week, but are coming down a bit now and I placed a bet on them ML @1.60 (as well). The 4 main reasons:

1) The SEA defense has improved so much over the course of the season, they have just allowed 14pts on average in the last games. It wasn't some high powered offenses, but they still found some groove and momentum.
2) I guess Goff will start, but he can't be at 100% with his thumb. The market just seems to wait for the announcement of Goff starting to pound the Rams, but I don't think this is smart.
3) The Seahawks are super healthy just at the right time:

Source: https://twitter.com/bcondotta/status/1346159885881229312

4) Despite missing their 12th man, Seahawks have a very good home record going 7-1 and only losing to the mighty Giants in a very weird game; this includes a 20-9 win against the Rams. The Rams had an average 4-4 away record this season.

Redskins +8.5, should only be 6.5?

It looks like Heinicke might (have to) start, since Smith is still dealing with this calf injury. Even if Smith starts, it's not safe to assume he will go all 4 quarters, so I wouldn't recommend to put any bet on WFT. Defensively they should be fine, but you can't shut down TB completely, so you need at least a few points to cover the HC, let alone win this thing.
