For the Coiners to clinch they'll need two wins, or one win and one loss for all the 6-6 teams.

Even if Coiners manage to hang on to 4th place they'll get crushed in the first playoff game by Mo's freight train.
<...>

That'd make for a great revenge game since Potatoes lost to Coiners earlier in the season.

I can't believe my team survived over a month without Kyren and JJ.  I'm super thankful for making the playoffs for once, got PointsFor tie-breaked out of the playoffs the first two seasons.

By the way, Coiners are/will be the only team to make the playoffs in all three seasons so far, most consistent player we've got for sure.

*Haha Mo I caught up and passed you!

Say what?  Grin

I've toned down my overall waiver moves/transactions quite a bit this year, from 75 to about 40ish. Lol, 75 does scream desperate...

I do not want to join XFL or USFL fantasy. I want to join a MLB fantasy, however. The season schedule fits with how long we wait hehehe.

I have no desire to get into any other sports but if you really want that then start a thread.

That sounds like a great idea! The MLB fantasy league could be a lot of fun. If you're ready to join, you can start a thread where we can join to play with a lot of fun. Absolutely! I'm excited too. Count me in for the MLB fantasy league.

We need participation trophies, something soft and cuddly to hug while crying for the next eight months.

If everyone agrees to join the fantasy league for next season, can we pick the draft order earlier? These 8 months will be very slow and long.

Maybe this year we can do XFL and/or USFL.

I am terrible at Fantasy Football!!!
But yeah, what an UGLY game last night.  Both offenses looked horrid.  Also sucks as a Bears fan being that it was a meaningless game, all that win did was put us in position for a worse draft pick next year.
As a fan what you say makes sense, but I get the feeling that everyone on the Bears is either playing or coaching for their jobs so they care nothing at the moment about draft picks, without a doubt Eberflus is a goner at the end of the season, but what to do with Justin Fields? The kid has massive talent but it does not translate into wins, if the Bears get the first overall pick on the next draft it could make sense to take their chances with a rookie QB and trade Fields to another team.

Another bad news for the Bears was the Panthers firing Frank Reich, I am sure that if the Panthers owned their first round pick they would have left Reich finish the season and tank discretely, but since that pick now belongs to the Bears they have no intention to keep losing without at least trying to get the best out of Bryce Young.

And the ones benefiting from all of this are the Patriots and the Cardinals, after I took a look at their schedules the easiest by far is the one belonging to the Panthers and they could get a win or two, while both the Patriots and the Cardinals have way more difficult matches ahead and it would not surprise me if both teams did not win a single one of their remaining games.

Congrats on the win in our match, it ended up being closer than I thought but you pulled a great win especially with all the injuries your players have suffered.

next week they are playing against the lousy manager of the Cows.

Next week is the B-team week, as in "bye bye" playoffs because half of my team is on vacation... unless cows got it worse, which I haven't looked at but kinda doubt it.

Edit: LOL I take it back, you got 4 byes too. Welp this gonna be fun. And you picked up Diontae. Good thing I didn't drop McBride... Wink
Just noticed this, not only I have 4 players in a BYE, all of them are starters, 2 WR, TE and a K.

LOL, I am about to get rekt.  Embarrassed

Interesting developments in the FF league this weekend; The big battle at the top of the standings was between the Barbarians and the Coiners, leaving the Coiners to fend off the remaining field in a battle for 4th place.  And it appears that ChiBitCTy lives to fight another day.  Nothing will be official until tonight, of course, but it looks like both the Bowlers and TwentiWan are dropping to 6-6, and ChiBitCTy improves to 6-6.

If this holds, that means no challenger for the fourth playoff spot will be able to finish with a record better than 9-6, and that means the Potatoes will clinch a spot in the playoffs.  The Barbarians and the Brewers each need one more win to clinch.  For the Coiners to clinch they'll need two wins, or one win and one loss for all the 6-6 teams.

Technically, the teams that finish 5-7 after this week still have a hope, but it's slim.

I pulled off 3 tight wins last night, and came close to losing them after that crazy game.  I'm 6-6 in 3 of my 6 fantasy leagues. Problem is I had Burrow and Chubb in those other leagues too.  Need to diversify a bit more next year I suppose.

I was not really expecting the current scenario for sure, I was expecting for yourself and nutildah to win their respective games and see a battle for that 4th spot in which any slip up could mean the season, but yahoo and wheelz were like ‘not on our watch’, so suchmoon is in a very advantageous position to secure a spot on the playoffs, especially since next week they are playing against the lousy manager of the Cows.

I did not know Jim Cramer is an Eagles fan hehehehe.

I wish he will stop cheering. Similar to his predictions that have inverse effects on the market, something similar might happen if he cheers for Philadelphia heheheheh!

It is on overtime with 31-31 for each. It appears the Bills offensive coach told Josh Allen to take lesser risk? He appears to have improved.

He is set to return this week! Read a quote from McVay saying Kyren won't be on snap count or anything and the last time he faced the Cards he went off for 20/158/1.

I’ve got him in one of my leagues. So happy to have him back. I hope he returns to his exact form before getting hurt, he was absolutely killing it.

Tough slate of games today when it comes to betting. Lot of close spreads between teams that both suck, so really hard to make these calls.

I like:  Minnesota Vikings -3 vs Chicago Bears
Philadelphia Eagles -3 vs Buffalo Bill
Baltimore Ravens -3 vs San Diego Chargers

Me and SM have a great match going!

I thought I was completely screwed after thursday but Miami really got me back into it Friday.

Soo Glad I benched TUA this week!

I didn't  see the game was in an MRI until the 3rd quarter, nothing major to worry about.

i have bad news for the lions Sad

since the afl/nfl merger, they are 0-12 (.000) on thanksgiving when the moon is in a waxing gibbous phase. tomorrow is a waxing gibbous

You think the Lions can overcome waxing gibbous?  Cheesy

Lions do not hunt at night hehehe.

In any case, the Cowboys again has won against the spread vs a bad team with -12. This has been 3 games already hehehe. Their next 3 games might be good to bet against if the oddsmakers overestimate them on the spread. It might be very much similar to the Bills vs. the Eagles. Why are they only -3.5 against the Bills? Is it because the Bills won on week 11 vs. the Jets? They might be overestimating the Bills, this should be -7, I reckon.

Also, the Steelers might win vs. the Bengals without without Joe Burrow.
Damn Lions screwed up my parlay right out the gate. They needed to be the late game so I could enjoy eating Turkey without knowing I was losing money LOL. What a terrible record they have on Thanksgiving.

LOL, people will look up anything!

They are looking like the Lions of the past though, I expect that to change soon.

Yup, Goff playing drunk for second week in a row. As things stand my parlay with Lions ML (down three scores) is waxed.

BTW, K. Williams is on IR might want to move him out of your lineup. Wink
