My Thursday is open, so if no one else wants, i can do the hash lottery thing again and update it in real time.

It will take approximately 6 hours, possibly less if we are lucky. The final two spots took nearly as long as the first 7.

The list above is based on forum's UIDs, like we did last year (apologies for the mass tagging).

Maybe Hueristic can choose a random block ahead of tomorrow and we can start from there, or the first pick is the first block after (for example, the first block after 11:59:59 a.m. EST).

Last year it took close to 55 to 60 minutes as you need to enter the lobby 10 minutes before the draft, so with the two additional members it should take close to 65 to 70 minutes before the whole thing is over.

Since I am absolute new to this I accept everything from you guys. Only problem for me could be the draft time since I am from Europe like @HHampuz.

Everything behind 7pm EST is nearly impossible for me. How long does the draft take?

I cleared my schedule. I removed all meetings with Donald Trump, Putin and Oprah Winfrey. I told them that I have something more important to do. The Donald asked what it was. I replied my fantasy league draft. Putin frowned, Oprah was shocked and rested her hands on her waist and the Donald gave me a thumbs up.

@South Park. I like the hash lottery. It will make you feel if you won or lost something hehehehe. I thought I won last year, however, I learned that I did not want to be first in a snake draft order.

In a way this is my fault, when the first edition of this FF league was created I suggested the use of a hash lottery to decide the draft order, and it basically won by default, during the second edition of this FF league that took place last year some league members expressed they liked this method of selecting the draft order, so morvillz7z made it happen, so the hash lottery has become part of this league, however if at some point there is a high enough opposition to it we will eliminate it as we do with any other setting we may not like, so if enough league members come forward asking to remove it then it will happen.

Works for me unless anyone has a problem with it we will consider it done.

Why is it so complicated? Why not let the fantasy choose a random order and go with it? Am I missing something? Do wheel of names to choose the draft order, seems fair enough to me. Someone just has to share their screen in discord so it's not manipulated.

Well, it is only a proposal, we could do it as we have being doing so the previous years, however it may take a long time before we get all the spots filled.

What do you think about the hash lottery taking place at block 805670, which should be mined roughly on Friday September 1st at 0:00 Default Forum Time with the next tickets?

This should give us sometime to iron out any issues and see if those which have yet to join the league will do so or we will have to figure out something out, in which case the hash lottery may have to be delayed.

Check with Hhampuz and Nutildah, and see if they can adjust, I am going to guess not as they are both like 12 hours out from each other so that is where they can both make it.

So only force a change if you really have to.

My votes are

1) Playoff spots, 4.
2) Payout spots, 1 is okay, however, if most of you want 2, also okay.
3) Replace kicker with flex, no. I like to play similar to our team format last year.
4) Waiver method, okay to hybrid. Reverse and continuous order did not have a difference for me hehehehe. I still lose.


Can I make a request to start it either 2 hours before or 2 hours after of 7pm?

To me any time and any date is fine really, so as long as you come up with the definitive time I will be there drafting with all of you.

And about the hash lottery I think that until we can confirm the participation of everyone we should not go through it as there is still a free spot on the league, however if there are no objections I am willing to do the hash lottery but I want to propose a small change.

During the first hash lottery only 12 blocks were needed to determine the draft order, but the second time around it took morvillz7z 7 hours and 44 blocks for the spots to given, this was because we went from having two tickets each to only having one, so taking into account the increase on the number of participants it could take 100 blocks or more before all the spots are given, so in order to avoid this I propose the next.

Supposing that everyone confirms their participation and the tickets were given according to this order:

Now so far the mock hash lottery has progressed in the same way as on the previous years, so far 8th picks have been selected on 18 blocks, but from this moment on things will get harder and we could easily get to 100 blocks before the last draft positions are determined, but this is where I propose a change, I propose that from the 9th pick and up the tickets C, D, E and F are given to the players which have not received a draft position on ascending order.

So the tickets will go from this:

I have tonget into that discord.  Yeah I'm fine with Monday at 7p est too is that full up what's been decided, that's way better than Sunday at 3pm.  Labor day party and trying to not be "that guy" lol.  Although it's fantasy football some people would get it
