Many gambling venues have become popular for gambling with Bitcoin. Many countries around the world are gambling with cryptocurrencies since the beginning of the use of crypto. Although gambling is legal in all parts of Canada, including the United States, each of the ten provinces in the country has its own rules. Games related to poker, sports betting and skills appear to be the choice of Canadian gamblers. With an average annual loss of Canadian adults, this industry is important for the larger Canadian economy.

Would also be interesting to know the top 10 countries where people would gamble with bitcoins. only quite difficult to figure out. if gambling were regulated in america, you would see much larger numbers there.

I am not sure if we can get valid data about the biggest 10 countries that gamble the most, especially in this pandemic, because people need to think about their lives first before they can use their money to gamble. The data will always change from time to time, and even if there is a poll or questionnaire about people who gamble in one country, that can't be the sign to have valid data. With online gambling become popular in many countries, it attracts people to use crypto to gamble. Perhaps, that makes them feel better to bet without telling their identity to the site.

I sometimes wonder how many Americans are gambling now. Typically people gamble online with much higher amounts because you have faster access to large sums of money.
There are many restrictions for Americans, but looking purely at casinos that are physically located, I think there is a lot of gambling going on here. Or maybe somewhere in Asia.
I did not know so many people players from Australia.

I just googled the top gambling countries around the world and i see India on top. Maybe Asia will become a new hub for gambling very soon.

Or maybe it really was back on 2019 as the jmage says it is still back from oct 2019

It will take time to know which are the top 10 for this. Imagine that you need to gather data from different casinos and see their geographical location and their user base to get an accurate result. I don't think that a lot of them will participate with this because information needed is confidential unless they're free to give it and without any problem. Btw, this article have an idea for those countries but it's not top 10.

I'd say that the second graph makes more sense than the one that came before it. It shows US, being at the top considering the amount they pay for sweepstakes, and thr number of prestigious casinos in that country cemented their name as the gambling capital should give the graph justice. Although if it were for nationality we are talking about the first graph would also make sense. Really it's all about giving full context so we can give a more educated guess.

That would be really hard and risky since it's basically selling your people's IP addresses. Otherwise how would you know if this person betting with bitciins, one of the most secure currencies in the world, is betting in Guatemala?

Quite surprised to see how India is not on the list there. I mean, every single year I used to go to my grandmother's home to celebrate the festival of Diwali and we people used to see our elders playing rummy and teen patti and what not. It's unbelievable that others don't play with their money?  Huh
Is it about the countries or is it about the average amount of money a person uses over gambling each month?

To be honest, I am quite surprised that there are no third-world countries mentioned on the list given that a large number of people gamble on such countries.

Like what you mentioned, India has a significant large population but the survey failed to consider the amount of people who gamble at the country. I have some serious doubts as to the veracity and conclusiveness of the survey but I do feel like the government relatively made an impact on how they handle their gambling activities. In addition, people who live in third-world countries would likely result to gambling due to the limited means of earning income due to lack of job opportunities and employment.

Government have a huge impact as they can supress those gambling business if they choose to do it,.

I agree with you, I'm also expecting some third world county to show up and be added from the list, knowing that there are lots of gamblers from different places of the world.

Though considering the possibilities of the amount of money those people from third world country that can spare for this activities agaisnt those elite one where wagering millions of dollars are not difficult to passed.

Still its one year old results from some articles which actually can't be taken as reference for anything unless they provided valid source from where they took data and made their analysis. Maybe India got more online gamblers but in terms of wagering amount still other country will be top in the list.

Yes, Indian population is way more than other developed countries but people in India does not have big purchasing power as other countries like USA / UK.
Also i do not think India has many online or physical casino's. Never heard of any new online casino from india being announced here.
AFAIK, in India running a casino is is banned by the government so most of the casino based games were available on the playstore with different fancy names and also they convince the government these are not luck based games which are the only thing got banned but skill based games were allowed so no gambling site is reporting themselves an actual casino there.

It would be given on what statistics basics the list has been generated?
If you see physically and FIAT basis then Macau has the most casinos and therefore known as the Gambling Destination in words.
I have also heard that Las Vegas is also very popular when it comes to Gambling and Casinos.
Never expected that Australia will top the list and i am also quite surprised to see that.
Moreover i only knew that the Owner and Founder of Stake and PrimeDice is from Australia lmao.
Nevertheless it’s great to discover such new things and increase our knowledge.

your uncle ( google ) is always there to help you confirm things that you think your not sure . indeed it was nice to increase our knowledge when we read new stuffs but we must also make sure that the knowledge that we garner are legit  because we may spread it later on to other and those people can do the same .

i know macau and las vegas are gambling hotspots but i am not sure of australia  . as for the owners of stake and pd , i thought they are from serbia ( that is what i heard before ) but they are rich , they can migrate on other countries

I can not simply believe on the list, Since many betting locales are confined by the government and we can just access them with the help of proxy/VPN. There's embrace plausibility that gamblers use the proxy/VPN to change their nation's IP with another. Betting destinations are prohibited in my nation as well however I utilize Australian VPN to interface with them. If you search more, you'll see various locales gives you distinctive outcome
Grin Well, there's a confusion from members living in those countries that are believed to be gambling country, though my little research agree with your submission that, those other countries that ban gambling (some sets of gambling not agree with traditions and religions) which also give room for citizens to make use of Proxy/VPN in order to gamble outside the zone will definitely push results to other countries like what we have here on the list. probably most countries on the list took glory through the use of Proxy/VPN's. I was surprised that my country Nigeria isn't among the top list.

Well, of course, we shouldn't believe in any list 'cause these articles can be made from scratch or non-reliable data. Anyone can make their own list based on their own research so definitely, it's not the main list of the biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. There are many underground casinos where millions of money on the line and there are also digital casinos so obviously, we can't really make a full list if we only have limited sources.

As you can see on his post, the top 1 in Australia and in the other article, it's US, meaning that we have different sources on which are the top countries that gamble the most. This kind of data is pretty hard to achieve as you will gather that can be a confidential thing to a casino.
Not all of the data are available in the internet and there are a lot of fake news in different websites and articles and these are the reasons why we should not easily believe on what we read and what we see in the internet. Every country has casinos and other gambling activities for sure, instead of knowing the country who have large and biggest gamble; I wanted to give awareness that most of the casinos in different countries are owned by Chinese. There is nothing wrong with Chinese but I'm just saying that they have the biggest power. Most of the casinos in my country are owned by Chinese, their power is so strong because in Australia and in Las Vegas; there are casinos out there who are also owned by Chinese.

Actually we don't need to be surprised because the "Survey" is intentionally provided for Country promotions and not a Literal Gambling itself.
Look at the details ,How come the the ranks seems Like being Set up and not the actual situation. This favored the lists or maybe a PAID SURVEY .

If a country's gambling industry has the potential to compete on a global scale, then there will be many potential foreign investors who want to invest in it, and I think the government has no reason to reject it. In general, if foreign investment in a country increases, then the country's foreign exchange reserves will also increase (especially for developing countries) and of course, this is a benefit for the government.
Of course, this step can help the government get more money from the gambling industry and with it can also increase the state income which is included in the foreign exchange reserves. If gambling in these countries is legal, then the government has no reason to reject the idea.

I agree, gambling is a viable part for many countries. Banning such activities is not a good idea in my opinion. The government is not only profiting directly from gambling through tax revenues, but also indirectly through higher demand in other sectors. Gamblers need to sleep somewhere, need to eat, need some leisure time. There is only positive effects. And if you win big in a fand you actually want to spend that money and treat yourself with something nice
