I totally agree with you. Altcoins become junk when bitcoin is not stable. But I don't think it's possible for an altcoin to be independent from bitcoin since all exchanges are based on this price system.

That makes total sense.

It is true that the Altcoin is now fluctuating in price bitcoin, which shows the Altcoin is still manipulated by the shark. However, the future of the altcoinracs will die only the valuable Altcoin exists and it will escape the price impact of bitcoin.

The problem that most altcoin have is that it is affected by the fluctuation of bitcoin. Most of the time when bitcoin fluctuates, the whole of the cryptocurrency market fluctuates as the market trend is disturbed. I think the new altcoin to succeed must build a strong enough community to support it in times of market changes.

Thats true but i think that this is only one Point of some Major Points which the most Alts have. Some of the Alts have just a very bad Managment and Admins which destroy alot deals with Exchanges that would be possible without them. Also some Altcoin Projects with potencial have the issue that Exchanges want to much Money or Market % of the Currency and the Developer Team might not do it because of they lose to much control out of it (but is something good if 1 person/group controls the value)
The Major Problem is the Bitcoin fluctuation but just for a Short time as we saw the Altcoin Market recovers everytime again except there are Major Problems into the Team of a Coin.

I agree on your statement, PUMP and DUMP are always the case of altcoins, when the new tokens are issued to the exchanges, PUMP and DUMP of major holders are common, when they make the money, they just leave, its hard to accept but this is the reality of crypto trading. But, it doesnt mean that it will end up here, constant development, will make the coin better.

Have a great day

....is their complete dependancy of Bitcoin. It really takes all the fun out of crypto trading.

No matter what kind of awesome progress some altcoins make....it doesn't change the trend upwards if Bitcoin doesn't allow it.

Pump and dump groups I also blame. Because of them I'm very positive that Bitcoin won't make it past 30 000 this year. 50 000 to 80 000 would be realistic without pump and dump groups dominating and controlling the prices.

Anyways, these things have to change somehow. The first altcoin developers who claim their absolute freedom from Bitcoin will be the real winners of this crypto game.

I wish all the Altcoins were not so dependent on BTC, everything will be more beautiful, but at least in the short term it does not seem possible to be. As you mentioned, although the altcoins make a big move, almost all of them are losing momentum with the BTC movement. If the market volume rises to trillion dollars one day, then the situation may change.

So what if they are all dependent to bitcoin?

At least they are giving credit on what's the first mover of cryptocurrency, you never understand on how a market works so stay with your alts.

one of the biggest problems with altcoins is all alt coins are directly depended on bitcoin prices so they will crumble each time bitcoin make any move in the market so alt coins should be paired to other cryptocurrencies like Etherum and Litecoin

Maybe it's the overflow of the market by numerous projects which come out day by day.

If you're looking for a candidate that could par bitcoin, then the nearest answer to that would be Ethereum. I picked it judging on the highest marketcap in next to bitcoin and the usage.
On our local online exchanger, ethereum have already its own way for converting directly to our fiat. It doesn't depend now to bitcoin in cashing out  Cheesy

Par bitcoin hey

There's a big point on what you said. Traders whose basing altcoins' price with Bitcoin sucks! Altcoins should have their own track. As for now, no other coins cant beat BTC but the only thing that altcoin holders can do is to let altcoins stand on their own.

I think Altcoin prices can not be independent from bitcoin since the trading system and all exchanges are using bitcoin price parity. If bitcoin price drops more than the rise of an altcoin price, it will also seems to drop. Bitcoin price should be stable for reliable altcoin prices.

Till bitcoin dominance doesn't decrease to minimum level, till then alts can't stay strong against btc.Crypto market needs lots of time for maturity.

I agree with you. The market of crypto currency is still too young and there is no coin that could compare with bitcoin. Until coins appear equal in capitalization with bitcoin, all altcoins will depend on BTC

Maybe if the alternative Bitcoin developers or what we call alt coin itself can work well, like multiplying users, must be accompanied by miners, and many are adopting. maybe the alt coin they created will not fail half way.

I think the dependency of altcoins to bitcoins is just natural not just it is the first cryptocurrency but because bitcoin also ia dependable in altcoins as it is also being used for exchanges. However I do agree that the pump and dump groups along with some whales do have a way to manipulate prices as they wish and it is very frustrating to small time traders, investors and newbies in this industry. That is why we need innovation on how to use cryptocurrency as it would release it to the control of these groups.

the same situation will continue as it is. If the jelly took the opportunity this would be very nice to invest primarily in the bitcoin himself. altcoin does indeed depend on the rise and fall of bitcoin but naturally, it will actually grow in taking the step.
