I am one of those people who believe that the scam will disappear gradually. however, I am quite confused by the statement you are saying. What I think is that the thing that can make scammers disappear slowly is due to the use of trusted escrow and that mostly happens with payments using bitcoin, or ethereum. even when it is another type of campaign, if they use escrow, the risk of a scam is also reduced.

Scams have existed in the past and will exist in the future, nothing you can do about that. It is in the nature of the people to scam.
If you look at the bounty section today and compare to 2 years, than the number of bounty projects have dropped a lot. I don't participate anymore in any bounty that pays in altcoin because the chance that this new coins get listed on a major exchange is extremely low.

The thing is that most of the payment's rates of signature bounties have been decreased and that's because some high ranks members get satisfied by maybe 15$ per week!
that's not even enough for the fee I don't know why they do it?it hurts signature bounties payments.

Its a pipe dream to imagine bounty scams disappearing, as long as there are participants, and despite social media and payments in btc, i dont see the comparison, nor the change. Once something is working for you it is hard to give up, and the audit/vetting is not an instant option for everyone.

Bounty scam will not completely go away, as long as bounties are paid in nontradable or new tokens, and the reward has no real value there is a chance that projects are wasting bounty hunters' time. I know that bounty hunters are also responsible for joining bounty scams, at least DYOR before joining since you will also invest your time even if no money is involved.

Scam is existing even before so it wont go away as long as there are people that can be easily become their victim due to greed of earning quick.

Actually not only in crypto even in other field of investment they are present, its everywhere. They take advantage people whose lacking of knowledge and easy to trust and give in.

Thus dont expect scam projects to go away, instead do your best to avoid these kind of projects.

I doubt that scammers will let go of bounty scams because of how profitable and easy it is to them to do. Though I'm pretty happy that a lot of campaigns or projects are willing to pay BTC/ETH or reputable cryptocurrency now but only few do this. Nevertheless, It's still good to see it especially to those campaigns that actually pay in cryptocurrencies that we can sell any time, not useless tokens that doesn't have any value. I hope this continues though.

Bounty scam cannot be erased if you see honestly.
As of there are Bounty hunters, this scam will be continue growing.
And as you have mentioned about the Bitcoin payment for the social media campaigns, then it's good at one perspective view, but it won't stop a scam Bounty from getting promoted.
Nevertheless what we can do is that, do a lot of research before investing on something and this can only save us from drowning into the Fake and Scam bounties.

Just recently we are beginning to have some Twitter campaign giving hunters reward in btc in the service section. This is one sure way to take off this muster that seem like a cancer called bounty scam.

I'm believing that gradually, will may start seeing the inclusion of other social media signatures like Facebook, LinkedIn, medium, article, videos, blogs and many more, coming up in  both bounty section and service. I'm sure that hunters will prefer social media signature than the scam going on in the board.

I guess one reason that we are seeing that Twitter campaign is because of the audit which takes care of non real followers of an account. So if your Twitter account isn't made of real followers, you stand no chance of being selected. The audit is surely to check out accounts with fake followers and that is also good to stop scamming.

I don't think it is that simple to get rid of the bounty scams. It is a vast area and surely there will be greedy people trying to scam others. What we can hope for is trusted members running bounty and escrows.

Bounty scams will gradually go away but not very soon because it will take time.Bounty hunters should have knowledge about a project before promoting it to avoid promoting scams and it is also important to know the team behind a project and in that way the bounty scams will gradually fade with time.
Scam always exists that’s why the bounty hunter should do your own research before joining. Yes it is good to have a knowledge of what you are promoting since these are always a lot campaign to join. Scam is everywhere in this industry so we should be careful in choosing one to join.
Scammers will grow as well as the market, despite of the security that we have as long as scammers are adopting the new technology, for sure they will succeed on their plans especially to victim the newbies.

I don't think scam project will go away because they are the same scammer as before, they are just creating another project with another project but the team behind it is the same. If people are more knowledgeable about cryptocurrency and know how the scammer works, they wont fall to them.

The bounty scam will be difficult to lose if there are still bounty hunter participants who participate in it, but as time goes by, bounty hunters are now very clever in choosing bounties that will be successful, I hope there will be a special team to select the bounties that will promote this diforum.
There is already a selected bounty list thread available so that bounty hunters prefer to join the recommended bounty, but each participant must rely on their own analysis compared to the special team because not all bounties that have been recommended will be good, there are also some bounties that are not good and have low pay.
I totally agree with your comment, check this post to find some legitimate projects https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/safe-campaigns-in-the-altcoin-section-to-join-dont-waste-your-time-with-others-5228629
Even though we found so many scam projects and some of these projects don't pay good rewards. We see that so many hunters don't participate in this recommended campaign. Without DIA and Koinpro, I don't find any good ones. Sometimes here recommend projects listed here after new joining off.

if we able to analize well every bounty campaign in cryptomarket, bounty scam could go away by it self. we didnt give any opportunity for fake developers to steal money from investors and trader. many ways can do to identify fake project in market.

I still noticed that there are people who are still participating in bounty campaigns, but for me some token learned something and minimize their allocation in their bounty campaigns because some doesn't even reach their softcap and it will turn out as a scam to others due to the expectations and the time allotment of the bounty hunters to it, If you want it to go away the other participants and the investors must realize that it's not profitable anymore not like it used to be.
Well, that is the right perspective of yours. I saw that bounty hunters now are can able to have their own research to find real or scam bounty projects. It is easy for them to identify those scam projects and avoid promoting them, --if they know the basic learning how to busted scam projects perhaps those bounty scams will gradually go away and did not go back again because they are easy to spot. Investors and bounty hunters should cooperate and will not promote scam bounty projects. If this will happen, for sure no one will create a trap as a scam intention.

I think slowly the trend will change and the campaigns will have to pay in real money to hunters for the job done, just like there is trillion dollar freelancing market where people do gigs and get paid in real money similarly bounty hunting can be like that. Unfortunately due to a lot of scams, low payouts and intentional delays and denials from many campaigns and projects the bounty market is under pressure and struggling to survive.
The solution is that hunters should immediately stop promoting suspicious, low quality and fake projects and at the same time the projects should look to pay in real money for the work done.

I honestly believe it will never go away because the scammers are using their "gifts" to think outside the box for a new kind of scamming tactic, technique, etc. We are the ones who should adjust to this circumstances. Until now, I still made mistakes even if I'm here for a long while. Because we're not perfect, but we keep learning and growing.

Always DYOR before participating in such bounty campaigns like the coin or token's fundamentals, utilities, whitepaper, roadmap, team, partnerships, etc. It may be a time-consuming process but it's gonna be worth it, so that you won't waste time getting scammed again. However, they're unpredictable too. We just have to manage our risks well.
