Well said, once the market matured everyone working with it will realize how things works, they'll learned how to pick right and true projects, they will stay away from scsm projects that only lead them to waste their time and participation. There's always a good time learning things that will make it profitable and not to lose anything from each works that they'll going to provide.

actually scam projects are still very active out there, you are just lucky to pick legit projects. to scams, our bounty campaigns will not be able to escape. The explanation for the recent hype of bounty campaigns is that we have a defi trend and more capital is pouring into the market. This is causing the excitement of the market so real projects are slowly being saved, which is why we see more real projects than fake.

I'm not sure that the audit can handle checking followers. If you look at the Twitter bounty campaign, you can see accounts with thousands of followers. All of them are not real, because they have a mutual following on each other and they are not interested in anything in the accounts to which they are followed except for following in response.
Personally, I think that it is better to use accounts with hundreds of real followers who read this person's news in advertising than accounts with tens of thousands of mutual followers.

Totally agree with this, some projects don't usually have the idea of what will become of their fund raising process so conducting a bounty at that time is like taking chances, so in the case when the project succeed more than their expectations they will now develop cold feet, finding it difficult to pay what they have promised hunters, while also in the situation where the project did not succeed to raise funds, some team will still refuse payment since it is worthless to pay in tokens that will never have any value.

In this case, using an escrow is the best option, whatever is the outcome hunters will accept their reward.

Of course, payment in BTC is much better than in tokens, but this does not solve the problem of scam projects. The fact is that they can talk to you to pay in BTC and ETH and even in USDT, but will they pay? Scam is when a project deceives its participants by not fulfilling its conditions. This primarily refers to the refusal of payments. In my opinion, bounty companies need to start paying their members every reporting week to get rid of scam. This would quickly show how good the project and its administration are, not to pull payments for half a year, or even more.

Bonus scams never go away because human psychology always repeats itself. Just now Clipx deceived the hunters' KYC and disappeared. It is a new form of fraud.
Over the years there have been scams such as not paying bonuses, paying less than the original one (changing bonus funds while the show is going on), the moderators of the bounty program replace them. run out of wallets to steal the participants' bonuses ... Also scam projects happened, they raised an ICO and disappeared. Bonuses become worthless.

Bounty scams will never fade away as long as evil won't disappear from the surface of this earth. The only thing is that scams can be mitigated just the way the penitentiary is there to serve as punishment for crime loving individuals. Yes, I agree that Twitter bounties paying in BTC are springing up and I bet one of the major reasons that is even succeeding now is because a few of the trusted managers here are handling that. Very soon more projects and BMs are going to lash onto this angle and that's where problems may likely ensue.

Yes, it's really difficult to make the scammers vanish, they always have tons of ways trying to scam us with different method to make look them really legit. But, as the time goes and so much schemes have been revealed until this time, we can slowly avoid these scam projects and be a better member.

Not all projects can pay bounty hunters with trade able coins like Ethereum and Bitcoin those that pay are exception to bounty campaigns but all the other bounty campaign can only come out with IOU coin because in the first place many will still participate in their campaign if they are going to pay with their native token so why bother paying them with trade able coins, besides they also do not know what will be the value of their coin.

i hope so, project are taking advantage of hunters, though hunter does not has any obligation to participate in a project, but that doesn't mean they should treated badly, and why most hunter get to participate in bounty scam is greediness sometimes, because of the huge worth of the project token to be distributed, in which the value is not always the same at distribution. To say that bounty scam is going easily it somehow oo, because ever since i start working as a bounty hunter most project pay in their token which is 80%. so doubt to some extent.

It is not recently maybe you are just noticing this. It has been like that in fact my first earning from btt is through twitter promotion in the service section that paid USD 3 that time. If you compare the numbers of bounty campaign that are listed daily and services that pays in btc you will understand reason why it is not likely bounty scam disappeared. Most paid services that listed come from already existing platform with proven products and services compare to the bounty dev project
