How would you guys identify a 'dump', rather than just a regular dip in the market?
Lol no one can identify in other way,because dump will base on the movement of the prices from the exchange,or when the selling is massively happening at present the market situation is indeed experiencing a decline, and until now there is nothing that can overcome the decline of the market is quite severe. yes of course all we can do is wait for the miracle to happen again.

We experience a lot of time in dumps and it seems to be normal in a decentralized market. We're moving into accepting the reality and not just be blinded.
I do believe that this dumps never takes so long, we have a 1 year in correction and I may think that 2019 is more on recovery.

Don't think about it made, those people are just looking on the negative side but not of its real purpose.

I think this all happened because of the market conditions that wanted it, not because of the pope or the other, because almost all coin dumps
not all coins dumps, at this time the price of bitcoin has started to crawl up and I think at this time it has begun to do a price recovery again and the proof of the price of bitcoin can rise again to the price of $ 8000. hopefully the price of all cryptocurrency can be expensive again by the end of this year.Yes, everyone has a huge expectation about the cryptocurrency prices but due to fluctuation, the prices are kept decreasing. So we need to have patience until the prices start recovering and we might see higher value to the coins, so we need to wait for them with little more patience in the market.
I am still waiting for the changes to be happen in my investment because dump will not easily happened in the middle of the Year so I think again it will develop and make the changes in value to be developed
What changes are you waiting about ? You mean the pump of the market ? Anyway , we are already on the middle of the year and the dump just happen recently . dump can easily happen more than the pump because there are more sellers than compare to hodlers and buyers but dont worry because the dump wont last a long time this year not unlike to last year where the dump lasted a long time .

why do you say this is the worst now? this year will be better than last year, believe me. bitcoin has increased as you said. but indeed the market movement is still slow, this is like the market movement in early May which surprisingly experienced a pump. and hopefully this year is also the beginning of a big pump.

Everyone of us here are waiting, and that's the only thing we can do for now. The dump happens last year, not this year, maybe if there are dumps this year, it only happen in the first or 2nd month of the year, but so far see some major improvement in the market, especially on bitcoin and some major altcoins, so this is just a sign that sooner pump could also happen.

The market now is good than before so I think you don't need to worry about it because the bull run is coming. Just be patience and go to market to gain and make profit. the increase in crypto has been seen lately but dump is always haunting no one can ensure the dump stops for next keep investing and always be careful
It was not a real dump - just a temporary decrease in the market. We will see these moments this year many times. However, the mainstream of the cryptos now is their growth - they are gaining and do it pretty well.
Yes, and please stop claiming that whenever the assets are going down, you call it dump because that's not how it works. If you think like that then it will probably spread up as FUD and will make the market even worse. Dumping is already a part of every coin price abd expect it to happen again. But the situation this year is totally different from last year's bearish market because the price of many of the coins in the market has appreciated for the five months and is still continuing up to now. The price cycle goes on, dumping followed by pumping but I believe that this year pumping will outnumbers dumping. Despite some price dumps, the bitcoin and other altcoins remains to be bullish until the end of this year.

What dumped?, no, aren't coin dump by market, no body want this happen. Some of them want to sell it when price become high, then happen couple week ago, then they want to buy back to day, at cheap price.
I think it would be natural if people sold it and would buy it back when the price was cheap. that is a normal situation I think in a crypto trade. because of a growing asset with investors and traders. traders who increase trading every day and investors who make price stability by maintaining the assets that they have. investors will also sell their assets when prices are good, because it relates to the function of the platform on the market that can make asset prices rise.

Lol correction must happen in every pump and this situation is normal since we only drops $1,000 from the value of bitcoin and all the altcoins in top 10.i strongly believe that this is just the start of much better pump in the next days to come
We have to be optimistic of its going now, bitcoin been bullish and I thought we will stay longer at sub $7000 but now it's stable back again at $8000, and good news is its increasing.
Indeed we're heading back at $8000 and hopefully there will be more demands coming in order for the corrections of the dumps. Although we seem to notice the start of dumps this 2019, don't worry this kind of scenario because that's normal occurrence during long bearish period. For my own perspective, that price declined based on the opportunities seen by more traders who've been long term holders; they're just grabbing their chance for them to cope up their financial needs.

That's right, the bounce back always followed when we suffer from dumped around the market, giving investors trust to come back andstart all over as they expect to have some good profits in returned, if you believe things will happen don't be bother that much when you
see some corrections that happened wait for another cycle.

So sad! Really it sad for me because that time, I was in my practice teaching. I did not think how it could be grew today. The market is recovering right now, from 4k dollars bitcoin pumped up over 100% price. We will see how it will surge more for more than two months. Since bakkt is waving for the crypto industry. How do we free crypto from the hands of whales.. manipulating the market??
