An emotional or excited gambler could spin some slots and get lucky so never use the word "never" when there is always luck involved. Winning happens if you have strategies? That mostly applies to games based on skills. Even someone playing for the first time can hit the jackpot too.
If there is no emotion towards any work then there will be no interest or feelings towards doing that work then there will be no value in that work. A gambler is addicted to gambling mainly because of emotions, and if that gambler did not have feelings or emotions working towards gambling, then that gambler would not have any value for gambling. However, if a gambler loses consecutively at dice, slots or betting, if that gambler becomes more emotional, the possibility of losing becomes more. Therefore, in some cases, the gambler must control his emotions and bet in such a way that he does not become emotional blackmail.

While keeping your cool in a casino might not guarantee you'll be swimming in chips by the end, it's like the secret sauce for responsible gambling. Think of it like navigating a wild rollercoaster – knowing when to scream and when to hold on tight is key, not just freaking out the whole ride. Letting anger or desperation fuel your bets is a recipe for disaster. But calling it a day and coming back with a clear head? That's responsible risk management, my friend.

And forget chasing that elusive "big win" with your emotions. Think of emotions as your inner risk manager, helping you cut your losses and avoid giving back your hard-earned cash. Like that "lucky streak" situation – greed might whisper "keep playing," but your inner voice of reason should be screaming "cash out!"

I think it requires some extra effort to master this strategy, but it has a good effect on the gambler. Being able to redirect the negative emotions to something positive in the real life. Yeah, as humans the wrong emotions can accumulate depending on the results of the game. But in a situation whereby the gambler is able to avoid the negative emotions in the first instance, he wouldn't bother about possessing this skill you mentioned. All he'd need will be the stage 2, going for vacations and reaching out to distant relatives. That's a fine way of reviving the emotions of the gambler to think normally and mingle with non-gamblers. As gamblers after having a stressful session, one needs to cool off his brain and have a rethink on the next gambling session.
The only problem is that in practice this doesn’t always work out either. Some players begin to withdraw into themselves and do not want to talk about it, because they understand that in their eyes he will look like a complete loser, some also think that if they tell the truth, their wife will leave them or cut off all ties with him. Therefore, in general, this is a difficult issue, but this does not mean that you should not try to start communication. I just think that keeping silent about the problem only makes it worse. Despite all this, it would be very difficult for me to tell my relatives about this, thoughts about it would plunge me into complete depression, I hope that some people manage this easier than me.

That wouldn't help, it's also a level of gambling addiction, where the gambler tends to hide the problem from loved ones. Yes, the whole process is not done by purpose. The gambler doesn't realize he's hiding his troubles, he thinks he can take care of himself, thereby causing himself more harm. For instance, the things you pointed out, loved ones most often would blame the addict for his gambling trouble. And the addict doesn't want to end up in such a state, where he'd have to lose his wife, after sharing his problem. However, opening up is better than keeping shut, because at last the addict's wife will definitely figure out that his husband is undergoing serious emotional pains. One can't hide the truth forever; it'll always show on the person's face. Where hiding the problem works is, if the gambler lives alone. He can claim to be fine in the midst of friends and family. A person with a spouse can't hide for long, before his wife begin to find out the pains of the husband. Meeting a therapist works just fine and could improve the emotional state of the gambler to get positive, and he'd get over the pains gradually.

How your emotions affects your games, let me know your past experience.
Emotions are the most dangerous and the level of loss is above average, if emotions peak, losses do not only occur in the world of gambling, in the real world emotions are also a self-harming activity, in many cases if emotions are put forward it ends tragically.

In gambling we can find good things for ourselves, apart from money, for example memories, entertainment and so on, but if greed and emotion both occur, we can be sure that real losses will occur to themselves.

I am aware that when I experience defeat and victory, both, I still don't put my emotions first, I prefer to stop and calm myself outside, that happens when I lose, as well as when I win, I better stop for a moment and go outside to reflect, that's what my experience.

Many don't just get it, I doubt if they are really into gambling like they say, if you are someone who have power over his emotions tell us how many times you have won when you are gambling, have your control over your emotions make you always win without losing money?

This is not the solution to losing money in gambling, in short, there is nothing you can do to avoid losing money in gambling, it's either you stop gambling for good or you limit the amount that you want to be losing, because trust me, losing will come to you and you should be expecting it, you can't escape losing money.

This is what many gamblers are advising against on here, lower your risks in gambling by lowering the amount you are planning to use, this is the only thing every gamblers should start to practice, there is no other way than this, if you want the best feeling when gambling, lower your risks.
Losing control of your emotions is the same as having the opportunity to lose money when gambling. We must not lose self-control because that will only trigger us to spend more money. We cannot accept the defeat we experienced so there will be a desire to recover from that defeat. Even though it won't be easy because we will use more money to gamble.

Many people have ended up losing their money playing gambling while you still have the opportunity to prevent it and also avoid gambling addiction. If you can limit yourself in gambling, you have the opportunity to avoid losing a lot of money. There is no desire to recover losses because that is a normal thing in gambling.

It is better for us to limit our gambling activities as best as possible so as not to lose control of our emotions. That will make us understand that gambling is just entertainment and we also don't want to see losing a lot of money. And reducing the risk of losing money is what we have to do.

I will will disagree with your topic OP. Maybe you should rephrase your topic again because you controlling your emotions cannot guarantee you success in gambling. If its is like that 99% of gamblers that knows how to control their emotions would be a successful gamber. Go and find out what controlling emotions means before bringing it to the public so that you wont change the narrative of what a successful gambler means or feels like.
Both of you are right actually and each gambler differs so basically we are seeing those gamblers that don't have control for themselves that they won't earn much money after they've just won in gambling.
But in real life, we don't know if they're the same person or there's already the life attachment for that daily gambler's life and then with the set of reality that he's dealing with and if he's emotional as well.
Anyway, it's true that someone's control over his emotion doesn't guarantee success in gambling but it helps right.
What matters is when they both control their emotions while they gamble, if they are not gambling for a better side which means they won't be able to control their emotions when they lose. And again staking randomly will also makes you to risk more than you can afford to lose, how because most atimes when your initial deposits are gone you will deposit another to bet those games which you haven't bet on. So there is no way one who's doing this will control him or her self when they lose, especially when they are not gambling for fun and not still gambling on a safer way.

Emotion:

The cause of the emotion in the gambling site because of the loss due to bad luck. The gambling loss mostly occurred due to the emotional inference to the game.If the gamblers loss the funds in the gambling site, they become emotionally weaker person. This cause for the random betting in the gambling site. The more you control your emotions will cause you to win more in the gambling site.

The gambling is the game with two possibilities, which is the winnings and losing. The winning happens if you use your strategies to make the money, the gamblers who failed to make use of the strategies are the loser at the end of the gambling. The winner of the gambling always make money from it,So he get positive emotions towards the game. The gamblers with more positive emotions are able to win more in the long run in the gambling site.

Nearly eighty percentage of the gamblers are doing gambling for the money making,So it was essential for the gamblers to make use of their strategies to win money from the gambling site. How your emotions affects your games, let me know your past experience.

I agree with you in some aspects.  There is no question that gambling is in large part a game that is about level-headedness, one that needs to be played with a certain level of "zen", so to speak.  There's been times however where I was anything but this and ended up walking away from a night at a casino where I did pretty well.  So it's not like it's impossible, but..you're right, keeping calm and not super emotional is the way to try and be.

Actually in any case excessive emotions can make a person end up in a much worse situation and not just in gambling problems, and especially if something like this happens in gambling and it is definitely a sure thing that you will eventually experience a greater number of losses or a worse situation. On the other hand I would not say that by controlling your emotions you will be able to earn or make money, because winning is another thing here.

Emotions and winning are different things, or what I mean is the benefits of someone who can control their emotions in gambling activities especially when in a losing situation then they will be able to slightly avoid the possibility of much worse and does not mean that by controlling emotions then you can win big or earn, nothing to do with it because for the problem of winning in gambling it generally always happens randomly and can never be known, so do not assume or conclude that by controlling yourself or emotions then you will win big, no because self-control or emotions lead to benefits for prevention and not increase the chances or percentage of winning.

Being able to get hold of the emotions helps the gambler to be in charge of his decisions. When the emotions are not in order, the gambler only gambles to feed his fantasies of winning big and becoming made through gambling. Emotions can be filled with thoughts that won't help the gambler to make good decisions. If a gambler is only gambling without being conscious of his emotions, he'd definitely be at risk. Gambling has to do with the emotions, that's why it hurts most of the times, when we lose money. Not caring for the pains or feeling no remorse about how money is being lost while gambling, can be a problem in the life of a gambler. However, having a stable emotion is quite great and sound for a gambler, but doesn't make any difference in the way the gambler plays or wins his games. I think it's a safety measure for the gambler to save his funds.
There is a downside to this, if the player constantly restrains his emotions, they can have a cumulative effect, something like a snow globe. Sooner or later it needs to be released somewhere, because no person can keep everything to himself, it’s not natural. I have seen many examples of successful players, and I noticed that they are not robots, but real people, and even they accumulate negative emotions during the game, but they do not throw them out at the gaming tables, but in life, I mean in a positive sense. This mainly involves sports such as basketball or the gym. Stage 2 is high moral recovery such as family vacations and travel. This allows them to purify themselves in a moral sense. The main thing that I emphasized to myself is that they simply direct these flows in the right direction. Many emotional and inexperienced players should have tried this experience for themselves.

The slot machines, fam are like, pure luck central, so getting mad or hyped ain't gonna change the odds. But here's the thing, emotions can still mess with your game, even if they don't control the spin button.

If you're on a tilt, feeling frustrated after a streak of losses. You might start throwing bigger bets, chasing that win like a dog chasing a squirrel, ignoring your budget like it's yesterday's news. Boom, before you know it, your bankroll's looking sadder than a deflated beach ball.

Or maybe you're feeling super lucky, like you can smell a jackpot coming. You start betting recklessly, convinced the winning streak is your destiny. But guess what? The house always has the edge, and eventually, that luck runs out faster than a free ice cream cone on a hot day.

The key takeaway is this: emotions are like uninvited guests at your gambling party. They can mess up the vibe, make bad decisions seem like good ideas, and turn a fun night into a financial hangover. So, be mindful of how you're feeling, stick to your budget, and remember, responsible gambling is the real jackpot.

Allow me to make a little comment about slots. Even though it is all about luck and getting mad does not change anything in slot machine, but that state of anger might force to hit "spin" button one time extra. And one more time, and again, and again. I think it is wrong to go to a casino with an idea that the money that are planned for gambling are already lost and we go there just to get fun, such negative attitude never play good. But my advice is to consider deposited money as money spend.

Being emotionless during gambling isnt good either. What about positive emotions? Gambling without a smile when you win big isnt right either. I think it is even ok to have uncontrolled emotions, but person must know when to stop when being excessively angry or happy.

Yes, Controlling one's emotion in gambling would make the gambler to settle down to think well before playing any game after the loss of game. In gambling you don't rush to play or bert but calm down to think and calculate what to do first before clicking the button to play. Even a game you have played before and you won the game but it you think that because you have won it before so you can win it again then you lie. You would loss out if you didn't check well before entering the game. Because the casino might change the format of the game and you might be thinking that the game is still  the same and rush to play and only for your to loss the game and you would be thinking that " wasn't the game I played last time that I won"? Therefore whenever you are to play a game you have to control your emotion and think well before placing a bet or play the game.

On point! it takes a lot of time and effort to finally master that kind of controlling emotion strategy and it's not easy as we think, Sometimes, no matter how hard we try to follow the rules that we've set on ourself, there is another side of our mind that convinces us to do something we are forced to avoid. It's hard to explain this experience, but as you mentioned, it can help us to think about whether we can turn negative emotions into positive ways. Negative emotions are valid and should not be invalidated, but we should know how to manage them.

Gamblers have different understanding of the game, and that's what determines the uniqueness in the strategies that every gambler implements while gambling. However, staying true to the strategy can be hard, but with strong control the gambler will be successful in whatever strategy he's holding on to. Yes, distractions, can occur and the gambler wouldn't mind going against his own strategy, but it's quite detrimental to the experience of the gambler. Because he could become a victim of what Op is talking about. When setting a strategy, the player is expected to observe closely the method and how it works in yielding him profits. Switching from one method or strategy to another, only worsens the gambling process for the gambler. And doesn't allow the gambler to understand his gambling process. Whenever, however a gambler wants to feel or act in his gambling session, controlling it, makes him avoid lots of problem gambling that could emerge from excessive of the strategy.

Yes, it will not guarantee your success but it can help you to stay in gambling till your success come which I am one of those gamblers that embraced such emotion not to gamble above $4 or $5 no matter what is happening at the moment and I have swim in success many time that is giving me joy to continue gambling.

Hop you know that is emotion that is pushing you to continue gamble in the gambling center when you are losing because, if you can be able to control your emotion at the moment, there is no way you will not recover your losses you have experienced before, because you believe that nothing will stop you not to gamble again.

Gambling during emotional states is very dangerous! That is like shooting a gun while blindfolded. You never know what or who you will hit! Same goes for everything else in life, driving cars, educating children, performing surgery, talking to your boss...  Adding emotions to the equation always ends up with hasty and illogical actions, which lead to chaos and disaster.

If you notice your heart rate and emotional state going up, then you need to step away from gambling until you have calmed down again, even if that means losing some kind of "big chance".

The gambler with more emotion in the gambling will loss their money to the gambling. The gamblers who use the funds for making the money should take care of their money used in the gambling site.It mean he will do the gambling with more care for each and every bets.If the gambler loss some dollars in that game, then the gambling should be stopped and take some rest for the next game to the gambling site.So the thinking power for the human will increase, the gamblers will not repeat the mistake in the game by playing the game continues in the gambling site.

The gamblers who loss the funds in continuous in the gambling site will leads to the big loss. The gamblers who play the game with more skills will make the huge winning. The luck also help the gamblers to make the huge winnings in the particular betting of the entire game.

If you understand the risks of gambling, before gambling you should be aware that if you don't get anything, you have to be sincere and accept it because gambling is about winning and losing, people who even using a strategy doesn't necessarily mean winning, but the positive point is that they are able to control their emotions so that they can achieve the opportunity to win.
People understand that gambling is all about luck and based on that, they will either win or lose every bet they make but it is just that they don't have enough self-control to be able to control the urge to gamble and chase their losses when they lose some money initially, and this feeling of recovery usually get stronger when they do it successfully once or twice which makes them believe that they can do it every time.

I say this because I experienced this thing myself when I started gambling for the first time. I used to chase my losses and used to get success for the first couple of tries which used to give me confidence and I used to start thinking that I can do this every time I lose, however, this led to a loss streak that exhausts all your balance in no time.

Losing control of your emotions will only worsen your gambling situation because it can make you lose self-control and want to continue gambling to recover from the losses you experienced. We must not lose self-control and emotions because that will trigger us not to want to stop our gambling activities so that we will only take bigger risks even though we cannot afford to see bigger losses. Many gamblers lose their emotions when playing gambling, which causes them to lose a lot, so we have to really control our emotions so that they don't forget to take care of ourselves. We must immediately stop gambling activities if we feel there is pressure from within ourselves to want to continue gambling. Otherwise, we will only really lose money without being able to recover the loss.
of course by controlling our emotions we will be comfortable when playing gambling, and prepare capital that can be lost if we lose, it is quite difficult to control our emotions, because sometimes we get carried away by the tense atmosphere in gambling games but like it or not we have to control our emotions, the best solution to hold back It's hard to know yourself because you are in a different position in each game, but don't waste everything on gambling
Controlling emotions is the most important thing in gambling. Uncontrollable emotions lead to bad situations in life which are difficult to deal with as everything goes wrong. Controlling emotions that are really hard to suppress requires awareness. If you are unable to control yourself in any situation notice them. If you can identify the cause of negative things such as anger frustration restlessness it will be easier to control emotions then gambling will not be dark.
