Well right we are on the same page on this issue, honestly it is true that controlling emotions is an action that will only be useful to minimize the number of losses and has absolutely nothing to do with the possibility of winning or meaning nothing to do with increasing the chances of winning, we must set the record straight so that people do not misunderstand what is meant by managing emotions in gambling so that they are not mistaken. Here's a question. If according to you a person who can't control emotions can't win in gambling, what if that emotional person chose the following strategy?
You deposit your dedicated amount of money to a casino once a month and you bet it all on a single event, like a boxing match. There's probably 50% chance the emotional gambler wins and if not in his first month of betting then maybe in the second one and emotions won't be able to impact him, since he's all in every time. At some point he will win and you will be wrong.
In some games emotions matter, but not in all of them.

Gambling indeed is profitable, but only if you are lucky and can manage your bankroll on times you would be winning. Let's say you won a huge amount and decided to re-use it in gambling due to assumptions of earning more. It won't be a bad thing to do if things will be managed properly especially with the amount you are again to bet. If you are betting big due to your winnings, then expect no less than losing all of those profit eventually. Emotions are just a factor to consider in gambling but as we all know, nothing would change with the outcome if you're destined to lose on those bets. Losing is of course normal but if you won't be losing that much of an amount you won't be in a bigger problem. 99% do definitely follow the wrong path i should say and this is something that must be avoid in the first place.Although i could say that it is really that something that not all would really be able to follow due to those kind of thoughts in mind that gambling could make them rich and able to make huge amount of money in a short span of time. I kind of find it difficult to subscribe to this because it's as good as saying anybody with good emotional control is guaranteed to be a profitable gambler which is totally false!!! Probably a game of poker this emotional control could take you far but unfortunately everything anchors around having the skill. If you don't have the skill or knowledge about a game, your emotional control won't mean anything, maybe if you meant skill + emotional control= success then here we would all agree to this statement!!
It's still not easy with online casino games. I've tested it a lot of times and my results are, if you are winning then might as well consider a losing streak afterward. It doesn't have any strategy, it's how the system works. Let's say you win on Monday and never log in until Friday, it doesn't mean the same thing could happen. Worse, it will take back what you won on Monday and maybe more. I think the best chance is in different games like sports, yes, in there those who can control themselves will win more and due to the fact that there's analysis behind the odds, we could really win it at a higher chance unlike in casino games.

I think the reason why people lose more when they are emotionally down is because in the state the mind is unable to reason and think properly, and when one is emotionally down to recover money that was lose, one don't have the sense of to stop playing, keeps playing till good amount of money is lose. Well, even if you have control of your feelings, you won't win if you're unlucky. However, having such feat which is control of your emotions and decisions, will help you avoid addiction and huge loss. Frustration and greed are the emotions you won't want to take over your gambling activity 'coz you would either be chasing for loss or profit by that time.
