Yes, it was never been that built up for someone to make money with in the first place. Gambling is something that should really be just that for fun and not for making money because this is where
people do usually mess up their lives on the time that they would really be making having those kind of perceptions into their minds that they should gamble for the sake of money which is really that a very wrong approach to have when you do deal up with gambling on which we know that this is something that they should changed up because it would really be just that making them desperate.
Controlling emotions might really that sound simple but on the time that you are on such scenario or situation then it would really be that so damn hard for you to get out or trying to quit.

Gamble for fun and dont make yourself that too optimistic on making money with it because luck factor would really be always the main determinant whether you would really be failing
up with gambling or not but honestly it wasnt really that been created for that sole stuff but rather it is really that created for the sake of fun on which it would really be
just that something recommended for people to mind off this way.

I understand what you passed through, because I am also a gambler and there was a time in our gambling lives, that we thought gambling is to make profit just like what OP stated. This is what would make one not being able to control your emotion, because you will always use big amount to gamble that is beyond your capacity to manage your emotion.

If one understands gambling that it is just like you are paying to have the opportunity to place a bet to try your luck if you would win or not just for fun. I don't think that anyone would think that making profit is possible when gambling. Perhaps, you can still see your gamble money as funds that you give out to little children to make them happy and yourself.

That's not the goal of gambling anyway, you don't gamble to make money even if that's the truth, and it's not going to do you any good if you can control your emotions, the odds will never change just because you've got a harness on your discipline, that's not how things work, math doesn't care about your emotions and it's always constant. Sure, keeping a cool head can help you out and get more chances of winning but you got to remember that it's not going to help you in the grand scheme of things, it may up your chances since you're able to think more clearly but that's it, don't use your ability to control your emotions as an excuse that you'd be able to make a profit in gambling, never ever see this as an advice to gamble even more, in fact this sounds more like an enabling people to gamble even more albeit in a delicate but reckless manner.

Well, personally, I tried by all means to control my emotions and the truth is I did not get good results, no matter how calm and patient I was, because I always lost money and extra money, that money that one as a person should not spend, So that brought me a lot of losses and that was something that stressed me out because I was always looking for a way to win any way I could, but I was never successful, until I started doing things similar to trading, where I only put in a portion of the money and if I I lost because I only lost and I assumed my loss, if I won then it didn't drive me crazy either, over time I left the money in the casino, that was another mistake, until I understood that every time I won I had to do what I did in physical casinos, take out the money and leave with money in my pockets because if I left it I would lose it, and so I have to make deposits every time I play, because that is preferable to losing money.

Besides, on the other hand, I think gambling is not a place to earn so there is obviously no way and no reason to be able to earn in gambling, or the point is that no matter if you are someone who is able to manage emotions and greed, gambling is still not an activity to earn because the problem of winning is always about "coincidence" which means that even if you are a responsible gambler, you will not be able to earn there unless you win occasionally by chance.

This means that the ability to control emotions and manage greed is not the ability to earn in gambling, it is nothing more than just to minimize the possibility of a larger number of losses and not to earn income continuously. But overall I agree with your suggestion that if you or anyone else is someone who can't control their emotions and greed then obviously the best decision is not to get involved in gambling at all.

I agree. Most of the time, when we get carried away by our emotions, we tend to make some of the shitty decisions and end up ruining our day or, for the worst, ruining our life. So when betting, we should be taking it one step at a time, since if we rush things, we might end up taking the hard road. I sometimes get carried away too, I don't know, maybe human instinct, and end up, just like what I said, doing some questionable bets and ending up losing it all. I guess it should be a lesson to be learned for me—an expensive lesson, LOL. But it is a must that in gambling, you should be in a clear and good state so you will think straight and you can judge clearly so you won't have any regrets when betting. Also, if things go wrong, taking a break would be nice since it can separate you from the stress of losing in gambling. Then, after the break, maybe try again, try small, then feel the monument, and don't forget to take profit. Taking profits can lighten up our mood, and we will be more positive.

Yes, that is why trading is a long journey. It will took you years to have adept information and experience to deal with different market condition. In that long journey you must be able to navigate the market effectively and you can do that only when you can set aside your emotion trading. We will face that difficulty to make money from gambling because gambling is not a place to make money. Gambling with uncontrollable emotions will never lead into earning so much profits, but will certainly lead into losing a lot. This has been proven by myself a lot because I was once get really hooked with gambling way back when I was still a beginner gambler. You are right almost every gamblers gambles because of money and I wouldn't blame such person because there are people who depend on there gambling to feed and is working for most people and also in terms of gambling for  money I think is a normal thing because every gamblers who uses there money to bet of course expect to win the bet at the end, however the only people I would believe that gambles for fun are those people who are already wealthy because there is no amount of money they will win from the gamble they have not seen before.

But in terms of the poor there is no way we could expect such a person to use his money for fun when he doesn't have much, so perhaps that's why in terms of gambling for fun and gambling for money is totally depends on the individual, but the only thing that's not advisable is when a gambler put all his hope of survival in gambling because it may likely not going to turn out well,  so however in terms of strategy I think I would agree with you because irrespective of how we feel that gambling is very difficult to win but sometimes having a strategy can help to reduce the level of loses.

You'll have to bear with the consequences at the beginning when you're still controlling your emotions. That will take time and won't get into instant.

That's why for you if you're going to take time controlling your emotions, enjoy the process because not everyone gets to enjoy it and can't even control even if they try hard.

It's not totally wrong to make continuous deposits every loss over the loss as long as gamblers know what they're doing and that money won't affect their whole financial budget. Despite your view about losing control of emotions and leading to continuous losing and eventually getting to lose all, it is still not impossible to have a big win. I know of some gamblers who have also had a come back with their last chance regards to how much bankroll they have left. They have had to stake their last money they came to gamble with and at the end they got a win that built back their confidence especially in offline gambling.
