One of them main things on why people do really commit out such mistake is on that on the time that emotions be kicking in then this is where they would really be having those kind of impulsive actions
on which these are the things that they must not really be doing considering that every bad move or wrong move would really be costing them big specially when you are already that getting impuslive.
This is why it would really be that best that you should really be having that emotion control when it comes to this matter so that you wont really be that ending up on having those bad decisions in gambling.

Gambling is for fun and leisure and its not something that it would really be that would make you rich and earns money on which this is something that you would really
be needing to avoid because once you do have this kind of mindset then you would really be having that kind of desperation when it comes to winning on which this is something
not really that recommended at all on the time that you do play gambling.

"The person who can't control emotions in gambling will never earn money from it" if we explain it, the meaning will be very broad. on the first point, it could be said that we agree. but in the last post, "The more you control your emotions will cause you to win more on the gambling site" seems too excessive, IMO. in principle, humans have emotions that are embedded in us since we were born. however, in the context of gambling, emotions can mix depending on situations and conditions. yeah, just like life. emotions have several elements, for example, anger, happiness and pleasure. well, maybe someone wants to add something else, so please do. we agree that gambling is a game that contains an element of chance. there are no other words, other than winning or losing. on this point we agree. In particular, those related to strategy. what is strategy for, the answer is very easy and we all know it. nothing else, to make money.

Well, what is most interesting to me is, the question is, how do you create positive emotions? because, you don't describe it in detail or in the simplest way. apart from that, emotions depend on conditions and situations. where emotions can develop and change very quickly. Is there a guarantee that positive emotions can always or be able to win money, especially in the long term? Remember, as you said, the point above. in principle, gambling is related to probability, winning or losing. IMO, those emotions can be managed by people who have understood them. so, what positive emotions do you mean? Forgive me, if I want to know more about what you are discussing in this thread. perhaps, almost 80% of gamblers do gambling to make money. I can't claim it, because I don't have accurate and authentic data. after all, it will definitely be different in each country. however, regarding strategy, we agree, especially in gambling which does not always rely purely on luck. for me it's simple, play when we want as long as it doesn't interfere with our main activities. apart from that, know the limits of our abilities..If you lose, just accept it. if you win, consider it a bonus of fun entertainment. yeah, it's that simple.

Our sense of reasoning has got a few things to do with our emotions so it usually plays a role in our choices when ever we are been affected by it. We need to put into consideration our state of mind and our emotions whenever it is we are gambling or generally involving in certain things that will really help us get better at who we are.

Sometimes we think we can ignore our emotions and still make decisions but we discover that trying to do that puts us in the state of mind that's very unstable and we end up not making proper decisions, we may try but then we would only make some erroneous decisions and when it affect us in the long run then we remember we weren't in the best state of mind when we made such decisions and that's why we are been affected by the results we are getting at the end of the day but then in times when we are just too emotional it's good to take a break yet then later reconsider.

Never mind playing with uncontrolled emotions, even playing calmly, it is still quite difficult to win a bet. Because in gambling, winning is only a possibility, while losing is a certainty. However, when we continue to try to play calmly, with controlled emotions, this can help us increase the chances of winning and minimize significant losses.

And many people are of the view that gambling is a place to make a profit and there are also those who say that gambling is a form of entertainment to get pleasure and relieve stress. However, when this activity is not controlled properly, the gambling we do will only cause us more losses and create stress. And quite a few people feel quite frustrated and regretful after gambling, this is because they bet beyond the limits of their financial capabilities and are unable to accept the final result of a bet.

You can be both right and wrong in this  statement as it depends on circumstances that has no luck involved. You can be right for a gambler that want to be focus in following a pattern, if he cannot control the emotion, he will not be able to follow the pattern well and make money.

But for gamblers that rely mainly on luck, they can never lucky to win big amount of money by playing randomly.  This is why I said you can be both right and wrong.

I kind of find it difficult to subscribe to this because it's as good as saying anybody with  good emotional control is guaranteed to be a profitable gambler which is totally false!!!  Probably a game of poker this  emotional control could take you far but unfortunately everything anchors around having the skill. If you don't have the skill or knowledge about a game, your emotional control won't mean anything, maybe if you meant skill + emotional control= success then here we would all agree to this statement!!

I think the reason why people lose more when they are emotionally down is because in the state the mind is unable to reason and think properly, and when one is emotionally down to recover money that was lose, one don't have the sense of to stop playing, keeps playing till good amount of money is lose. It is never advisable to keep playing gambling when one is emotionally down.  Playing gambling to win needs a good state of the mind to be able to think proper. When one is playing gambling with emotion is as if one is just trying to force his/win by all means and doing this most times ends up as lose in gambling.

The emotions for a gambler who just won money and is not able to control his moves or gambling speed will only get worse when he ends up discovering that he just lost all his newly won money. Such thoughts don't sit right with the emotions of the gambler and anybody else he just talked about his misfortune. Hence if a person being not emotionally stable and gambles a lot, he'd have a hard time having a better money management skill. Our emotions help us to make good or wrong decisions while gambling, but a time being on the right part of the coin, that is on a stable and sound emotion, only helps in bank roll control, but can't determine if a gambler will win or not. However, gamblers still need the right emotions not to go out of context and chase losses.

I agree with you but not in most cases, when we are facing emotional challenges, then we should be careful on how we engage ourselves to gambling, this may actually affect the way we gamble because as at that moment, we are not appearing as the same person we used to be, instead, we are like being under circumstance influence, which will definitely affect the way we are gambling.


Since gambling itself is a win or lose game, we can take emotion as a catalyst also that can boost our closeness to winning or losing in the other way round.

You said that people with positive emotions win more in the long run, I don't think that's how it works, but it's just that people who are positive towards their losses tend to lose less in the long run because they don't chase their losses which is the most common way of losing more money in gambling. So there is a difference between losing less and winning more, when you lose less, you just don't lose a lot of money, when you win more, it means you are winning money on top of your bankroll.
The percentage of gamblers gambling for monetary gains is way higher than 80% because you can't often find people that gamble just for the fun and entertainment part.

I gamble but not often but I can say that I have good experience with bookies and staking football matches more than any other games and throughout my experience here, I have do get emotional when I lost, it's disappointing when my calls doesn't work, I feel I'm not too good at it but feeling depressed about the money is going to be the last thing I will ever do while gambling, I don't get emotional because I lost the money, but I do get sad about the way I loss, I do feel I deserve to win and even now I still do but it's for a short time when I see my loss, the next minute I have forgotten about it.

Gamblers that does get emotional with the money they loss too isn't bad, they are human and it's normal but if you can't over look it and focus on the next game, it will hunt you because the next decision you make will affect your next result. Always let's go of what is loss and focus on the next game, with this method you wouldn't know the time you recover the money you have loss in the past, it's a natural instinct in gambling.

Controlling your emotions does not mean you will have a better chance of winning. because gambling does not depend on whether you control your emotions or not. The aim of controlling your emotions is so that winning or losing does not make you stressed and burdened. Gambling still involves emotions, whether we are in a winning condition, even emotions that feel like we need to win more cannot be achieved. Self-control is important but not as a reference for winning, in a gambling casino you come and go, that's the point. Coming calmly and leaving carefree, that is the only role in controlling emotions.

I gambled with emotion and won but I wasn`t happy with my state of mind. Excitement and fear sometimes can lead to irrational decision-making. Emotions and self control is a must where ever we go what ever we do, like in gambling the more we have a discipline and self control then we will have a good outcome and can avoid addiction cause we we loss our control then there's a chance that we loss our money. Cause greediness will take over our mind if we loss control so it's important to have a discipline and self control. Anyways as we saw an addict they loss their mind , they can't control it because all they want is to play in gambling

I cannot stress your strategic point. In my experience, winning gamblers have a solid strategy and the discipline to adhere to it, even when emotions are strong. Its fascinating how mind and heart interact, right?

we shouldn't expect too much from winning in gambling, think of the gambling you do as just entertainment, my experience in gambling is when emotions are out of control, when I lose continuously in a row, so I keep throwing away my money, this is my experience in the past

80%? Are you nuts? By means of money making, is this people gambling with the aim to get profit because that percentage should be near 100% or else gamblers is just waiting their money on playing games while they can play this for free if they really don’t aim to earn money on gambling.

It’s delusional not to think about profit when gambling because you are gambling due to the potential to make profit in exchange for the risk of losing your money. Entertainment only come when you are winning or in break even situation after intense win and lose. But no one will say they are happy after losing their money. Honestly speaking.

I'm sure if emotion is the biggest factor that will affect the outcome, most people already make a lot money and there will be no one want to open a new casino.

Emotion has nothing to do with the outcome, even you've pray for 100x times, gamble in the most comfortable room, eat your favorite foods, do something that makes you happy before gambling, all the things I mentioned before has 0% effect.

Luck is the biggest factor.

The casino wants you to lose control so they can take over, it wants you to chase your losses and bet based on your emotions without analysis, and it wants you to lose awareness of time because this is the right time that you will surrender your money on the casinos.
The casinos whether online or offline employ physiology to beat the gamblers, it started on physical casinos where they do not install windows and there's no clock and they kept serving wines and food for players to stay because the longer they stayed they lost their concentration and emotions.
When your motivation is to make money from gambling they already know what kind of players you are, so they keep offering bonuses and will entice you to wager more so you can reach the next rank.
It's ok to think of the idea that you can make money from gambling, but never push it to the point that you will play with money that you can't afford to lose.
