I want to believe that there is a direct and indirect implications of uncontrolled emotions in gambling.
Emotions can play a direct role in gambling loss particularly in sports betting but in casinos games like slots, I do not think so. Because in slots, as soon as you spin the wheels, the outcome(a win or a loss) is already determined. The indirect implications of emotions in further losing is in chasing the loss due to being allowing your emotions to cloud your judgement.

Despite your strategies, in gambling it is what it is, loss is bound to happen that is why the gambler must be disciplined enough to gamble with money he or she can afford to lose. He or she must let their emotions get the best of them by making them to borrow money to gamble. Responsible gambling practices must be upheld at all times.

You just typed this wall of crap and tried to convince people to believe it? -- how about you just make your next post an assumption? Cus you obviously made this a fact which is clearly CAP!! Let's fall back to the bolded part of your post; since when did you realize that a person's emotion could possibly pave ways for 'em to secure a win.. like you're tryna say that all you gotta do to secure a win is become confident in your tickets and that's it??

Correct, you know I don't really thinks it's only gamblers that can't control their emotions when they lose that can't win or make profits from it. The gamblers that also risk what they can not afford to lose is also in the same shoes as there is nothing much different from them both those that can't control emotions and those that always risk what they can not afford to lose.
These is something that's draws people minds to gamble more, and that's when they are always winning. there's no one who can control their winning habits mostly the new gamblers, they can gamble more than they can afford to lose and the time they starts losing they always feel bad because they have never experienced losing before and even if they, they haven't started leaning anything from their losing the when they lose they tries to recover their loses which they can't.

Emotions are the natural enemy of man when it comes to anything that involves decision making. It's best to stay away from feeling anything when it comes to gambling. Especially in bets wherein your favorites are involved, you'll never know when it will get the best of you. Having said that, practicing how to detach from your emotion is hard at first, but eventually it will feel as if you're not really making any decision at all as you think more rationally and sensibly.

I find myself disagreeing with your point of view with respect to those who can't control their emotions and are not able to make money. I could have agreed with you if you said those who can't control their emotions are likely to lose more money in gambling than others. 
 
Before you turn yourself into an emotional gambler, you definitely have to start small, and when you start with luck and your prediction skills can't be against you all the time, you could be able to win some games and lose some.
 
In respect to losing, you can lose control over your emotions, and when you can no longer control those emotions, you are likely to lose your money to betting because your judgement will be affected by your emotions, but you can still make some wins in that process, but the chances are very slim.

But there are gamblers that gambles for fun and entertainment, maybe they have a lot of money to burn and so they just go and play and do not have emotions at all. Of course, emotions are very important not just in gambling, everything in life curtails emotion and right judgement in order for us to survived in life.

It's that in gambling, it's risk and it involves money. So you can't just generalized things here. There are times that when you are really into gambling, who knows, maybe your decision is clouded, but there were will be times that you will become "lucky", and win some, just saying.

I agree with this because sometimes,  if luck is on out outside,  we can easily win even when we gamble with high emotions in place,  this is one of the key things that we need to know before setting out to gamble,  gambling is a game of lose or win and whichever ways,  one thing must surely happen while gambling and at some point emotions may not play any vital role in that outcome some times.

But it is better to gamble with the right frame of mind and be under emotional stability to be able to make the right decisions,  and how we can manage the outcomes.

Thirdly you need to gamble with only an amount of money that we can afford to lose and still be comfortable with.

Honestly, I can't see how emotions will affect the outcome of gambling games that depend on luck, slot games for example, the person puts money in and plays, the machine processes it and the person just sees if they win or not. In those types of games there is no strategy, even if the person is angry and continues playing, the person's emotional state will not affect the outcome of the game. So in my opinion what should be said is that the emotional state of someone who plays games of chance that do not depend on luck, can have more defeats than the normal defeats that the person would have. because it is necessary to make it very clear that in games of chance people will hardly make profits, thinking about profits when a person plays, is an illusory and wrong thought

I say this because at the end of the day the person will lose, even if on a certain day the person gets it right, on another day the person also gets it right again, on another day again the person gets it right again, but eventually the person will have many sequences of defeats that lead to to be at a loss, after that the person will give up if they are at risk of losing everything. This means that the person left with losses. There are cases of people who have managed to achieve some successes, but these same people, when they look at their statistics, will realize that they are also suffering losses. There are few people who stopped playing and stopped when they already made a profit.

There is no difference between being emotional and being too emotional while gambling. Even if a person is emotional at the beginning of their gambling experience, it can still have an impact on how they usually play. If they become too emotional, it can only make things worse. Being emotional might help you win if you are lucky, but luck is not always on your side. Therefore, you cannot rely on being lucky whether you are emotional or not.

An emotional or excited gambler could spin some slots and get lucky so never use the word "never" when there is always luck involved. Winning happens if you have strategies? That mostly applies to games based on skills. Even someone playing for the first time can hit the jackpot too.

With due respect, @OP, but I disagree with your title, the possibility of winning in gambling is not determined by the bettors emotions. Even if a gambler is emotional or not, they can still be lucky to win some of their bet. 

What happens is that if a gambler becomes too emotional during gambling, it could cause them to gamble recklessly by staking more money than their budget, and theycan still end up losing all that money. Even while gambling with emotions, they might still get lucky to win a few games, but if they keep on chasing losses, that's what can cause them to lose every dollar they had. 

Like someone already mentioned, gambling must not be seen as a source of income; otherwise,  it will never be able to give the individual the amount of money they expect to win, and it can cause them to become addicted gamblers. 

98% i should say on which majority would really be that emotional when it comes to gambling because no one really likes on losing money and this is the primary thing that you would be able to experience these things once you do gamble. This is why it would really be that best that you should be wary about the risks involved. Gamblers are naturally greedy and just like on what others been saying that when it comes gambling then no one likes on losing money and on the time that you would really be able to lose money then you would really be having that kind of reaction.
Controlling emotion might sounds basic but its not something that everyone could be able to do so. This is why people would really be having that kind approach towards gambling.

I would say 90% of gamblers are emotional gamblers, they bet with the heart and not with the brain. And when the gambler loses some % of the balance then gets the feeling of recovering that or losing it all.

And it's crazy the fact that a small loss can make us lose all, i mean, when a gambler has a $10k balance and goes down to $3k he loses the sense about that $3k still good money, and he will lose it all trying to get back to $10k. A gambler who plays with the brain would walk away with $3k and a smile on his face.

This is very true and applies to many areas of life in general. Those who are erratic and cannot think clearly are destined to respond in strange, often damaging, ways to the world around them. Take someone who gets irrationally angry after they lose - they are liable to waste more money while they have a clouded mind and being angry doesn't benefit them in any way, plus they can sometimes take things too far and even become violent with much bigger consequences. People who are stable and rational thinkers will tend to follow a narrow path, they may get things wrong but at least over time they are refining their skills and implementing self improvement. There are many strategies that lie in between, but all rely on having clear thought processes.

Don't think about gambling to make money, because that will only make you have high hopes of always winning, which in reality is just a false hope that will make you continue playing with uncontrolled emotions.
It's best to gamble just for fun and only spend a few dollars and play only if you have the desire to play calmly and are overall good at controlling the game which can sometimes bring luck.
And as long as we play for fun calmly and don't use emotions and passions, then gambling won't make you lose a lot of money. And get used to playing with full awareness, because that way you will be able to master the game and not be dominated by the game.

This is a rear decision to see someone betting and deciding to stop in the midst of losing because most players tend not to consider losing as part of the game. If you have a good emotional balance you can take such decision but you will not if you have imbalance emotions. Gamblers have this challenge of stable emotions and that is why loses are more than profit. However, if you gamble reasonably, you won't be scared of whatever outcome of your game but to take a higher risk than normal sets someone on that level of restiveness, being uncontrollable. and indecisive.

Emotion is one of the most common problem as a gambler on which they would really be able to experience specially when dealing up with money on which we know that
human beings are really that highly impulsive into it. On the time that you would really be dealing up with gambling then it would really be just that right that you should
really be having that a good hold or control in towards emotion. Fixed up your mindset and your emotion or feeling and dont expect something like having to make some huge wins.
High expectation and positivity would really be leading into that extreme frustration on which on the time you would be experiencing a barrage of losses.
This is why on the time that you do gamble then you should least expect about winning.

Gambling for money is wrong, but gambling for fun is more advisable.
If you are a typical gambler who gambles for money, then it is very possible for you to experience bad effects from gambling regardless of how well you admit that you gamble responsibly. You will lose and regret it, but if you change your mindset then you might never feel bad when you lose.

Of course I'm talking about personal experience rather than that of other gamblers. I never felt comfortable gambling for money, I mean I was always angry when I lost and maybe only slightly happy when I made a small profit. Change your mindset about gambling and make gambling just for fun, it is much better for protecting your psychology and also your finances.

however, I think that a good bettor, who has the right tools and the right knowledge... is definitely capable of winning regardless of the emotions he has to manage.

Why do they expect winnings from gambling? Because when there is a win, it will be said to be instant and when you lose, it will cause uncontrollable emotions which in the end will continue to chase losses hoping to recover, so this emotion will be considered excessive.

We know gambling is not considered a job that can produce because in gambling games only luck can favor the player and even then it is very rare, so I would say that fools play gambling but want to produce but do not consider it as fun.

In applying any strategy in gambling in the end luck is greater, as people say card games, sports use strategies I also agree but you have to realize luck is also there.
