Investing in bitcoin brings most profit in the long run. If you turn ordinary money into bitcoin and immediately make regular purchases with it, then really, because of the relatively large amount of transactions, all this will be problematic. However, as far as I know, the amount of transactions with Bitcoin is even less than the commission with a credit card.
You’ve said that you will not invest in Bitcoin because it will not become mainstream. That is true, Bitcoin will probably never be the mainstream and it’s not meant to be but that is notbthe point. That doesn’t influence your possible profit at all, just the opposite, because of that Bitcoin as an alternative to fiat money will bring you very nice profit especialy on long term basis. And the fees are not something that should worry you.

I would like to invest some money in bitcoin, I don't use that money and I don't need it for the next 2/3 years.
I thought I found in bitcoin the perfect way to invest. BUT when I see the fees applied I don't see how the bitcoin will become mainstream! The fees are around 1mBTC which is approximatively 3$. Therefore what is the point of bitcoin?
The only thing I see : big amount transaction
But bitcoin won't be the money you use to buy your sandwich with those fees!
I saw a post saying: yeah burger king is willing to accept bitcoin in russia. Hopefully mcdonald will follow ! But why would someone pay 3$ fee therefore a third of his burger king menu in fee?
Will segwit may lower the fees?

Rich people are hiring business advicers to give them advice where is the best to invest their money and bitcoins is one of the highly preferred industry to join and that is why bitcoins value is keep on increasing.
It doesn't take the wisdom of Solomon to know that this time is the right opportunity to invest into bitcoins, in actuality, everytime is the right time to invest into bitcoins.if OP has his reasons not to invest into bitcoins, I think he get over it .
There is a big risk that bitcoin price will drop to zero if some other digital currency displaces it, regulators manage to destroy it, some problems with the code will make it functionally useless, or else who knows what will happen. I think it's worth placing 1-2% of funds in bitcoins and storing them, hoping that they will continue to grow. But do not do this with any large sums, the values of bitcob are far to gold.

Don't let that be a thing upon your decision on engaging towards bitcoin. Fees were just small compare to the income or profit that you could get when you invest in bitcoin.

I'm not sure if the fees will be lowered, but I agree that they stink. I personally send transactions with low fees most of the time and use a free transaction accelerator to speed them up. This is a good workaround in my opinion, but really it's your choice as to whether or not you want to pay outrageous amounts in order to help support the miners more. Everyone if you want to invest definitely see what will be invested, once gold investment, and now people see Bitcoin very good for investment because the value is very good, and the price can make people always want to invest in Bitcoin, because the value of Bitcoin always up in every year.
Exactly, that's why I am with bitcoin for long time.It didn't disappointed me and it's price always goes up in a month or two.O can remember when I first invest on bitcoin it's price was about $900 and now it has crossed $7000 just in a year.So investors are really happy with bitcoin and keep investing on bitcoin.So I didn't find any reasons to not invest on bitcoin.Investing on bitcoin is very profitable so I will keep investing on bitcoin.
investing in bitcoin is the best move you take, put it in mind that bitcoin value will increase in the next 2-3 years as you will not use them just keep them and in time that you decide to sell them there is a huge amount of money out of it, in that case you wont mind the fees that youre saying, dont use it in daily expenses instead use it as an investment/savings and them exchange them when the value of bitcoin is very high and you will feel how bitcoin really works..

Bitcoin if probably a good investment for us. It is non taxable and no one controls it. You have the power over your investments. You can buy or sell whenever you want.
There are fees with all investments, Bitcoin or crypto is no different.
Jump in to a Stocks and Shares platform and buy Funds, there's a charge. Buy shares, there is a charge, buy gold a charge is levied and probably storage as well. Buy fiat, there is a spread.

There are only 21 million Bitcoin, and as time goes on, they become harder and harder to mine. so price increase as per demand
The confirm time is going to take 10 minutes for your transaction if you send a good fee, but ten minutes is an eternity in the physical world and that needs to be solved.

If transaction fees alone is the reason why you are not already investing into bitcoins then am sure that should you later invest you are going to cut your losses and run should the price of bitcoin go down in the first place, any veteran user of bitcoins knows that the fees charged for transaction is not stable at all times and it goes up and down at all times. 3$ fee is the only thing that prevents you from investing in bitcoin? The day you posted this thread (June 29) Bitcoin price was 2500$, today the price became 6100$.
You were able to double your investment (2.5 times) if you just forgot about the 3$ fee. Anyway, transaction fees will be reduced, I heard that bitcoin community are working on that issue.

investing in Bitcoin in the long run may go up from year to year but if investing with big capital there will be a big risk also may be the price will decrease in the future rise and fall we do not know.
Yes investing is risky. So you will just invest the amount you can afford to lose. And you always have to monitor the price of bitcoin as to avoid possible collapse. But we saw how bitcoin is doing. Its performance for the past years just shows that it continue to grow.
