Defeating Ronda Rousey was the highlight of Holy Holmes in her career and she was undefeated coming into that fight and after that she had 6 losses against top fighters and age is not in her corner like you mentioned and it is hard to predict how she will be fighting when she is facing against Yana Santos who is the wife of Thiago Santos and both used to train at the same gym.

Well, it was an awesome fight, and Holy show us a great fight with those dominating takedowns. In the start Yana was really explosive, but that energy ends fast, in the end of the first round I realize that fight will be an easy win for Holy.

So, it was a big surprise for me, and looks like she will chase the champion belt again, will keep an eye on her fights this year, and let's make some money with her.

It was a close fight yeah and a boring one aswell, Marvin Vettori is not the kind of just aggressively throws strikes at his opponent he would tend to wait for that is why this fight is you can say normal for me it was not boring and not that exciting as well it was really an average fight because both fighters are just waiting for the other to throw something, that is why it looked boring for others,

Marvin Vettori is a former Venator FC Welterweight champion so he knows better what to do when fighting. He is also a professional fighter for more than 12 years so his experience in the MMA world cannot be underestimated anymore.
You said the fight was very boring because he was just waiting for the right taming to strike. It should be noted that Marvin Vettori fights for victory not to entertain you while watching his fight.
Fighters will surely wait for the right taming to attack in order to be able to deliver devastating blows and be able to find where the weaknesses of their opponent's defense are.
If you want an exciting fight to watch, then just watch the WWE fight which is more focused on entertaining the audience.

Please! read back who am I quoting here and what I have just said because I have said that the fight looked boring for other people and not for me please read this quote

It was a very boring fight, really, none side was doing anything exceptional. This match was very near to draw but Vettori had 106 significant total strikes while Dolidze had 71 significant total strikes. It was very close match but I think Vettori deserved won.
Btw I don't understand how Vettori won the first round, Dvalishvili was more aggressive and active towards him.

This is the one that I am referring to, he was really bored with the Marvin Vettorri VS Roman Dolidze fight well please before quoting someone tries to read first the whole thing so there will be no misunderstanding

Here are my picks and prediction on some fights on the UFC Fight Night: Vera vs. Sandhagen

Marlon Vera VS Cory Sandhagen

The stake odds for this fight are 2.31 for Marlon Vera while 1.62 for Sandhagen, for this fight both, surely will fight technically both have counter punches but for me, Marlon Vera is more durable and he is hard to hit clean but for sure this fight will be very slow on the 1st rounds but will eventually become explosive in the remaining of the rounds, so for me, my pick is Marlon Chito Vera
You know Chito Vera really well. As you said, he started the fight slowly. A good counter attack and his opponents usually try to understand the game plan while defending, he accelerates in the next rounds and ends the game. I thought Vera would make a comeback to the second and third rounds. When Cory Sandhagen showed off his wrestling skills, he had the upper hand against Chito Vera and wouldn't let him do anything. During the five rounds there was a strange difference in strokes. Sandhagen dominated the entire fight. Many of the features he has confuse his opponents, jumping knee, throwing elbows and take down attempts and he does not get tired. It is certain that Sandhagen cares more about wrestling after losing to the wrestlers.

Holly Holm VS Yana Santos

The stake odds for this fight are 1.40 for Holly Holm and 2.95 for Yana Santos, For this fight we all know the striking game of Holly Holm but we will have to see if her return will have a great impact in the UFC, moving on but we all see the recent fights for the women division they are adding wrestling to their game and if Yana Santos could get that for herself they that could be a weakness against Holm, Right now I am going with Holly Holm just to be safe,

Nate Landwehr VS Austin Lingo

The stake odds for this fight are 1.47 for Landwehr and 2.70 for Lingo, for this fight, it looks like that extra 0.5 height for Landwehr is not an advantage at all but surely he is more explosive in my opinion that Lingo his last fight with David Onama was a majority decision win which is kind of great he surely have dominated the stand-up, I think Nate Landwehr has more great stuff for Austin Lingo so my pick is Nate Landwehr,

Here's the last look of the fighters before the event which is starting in around 4 to 5 hours or so.  Even though this event doesn't really have the most vetted match ups, I think the main event is intriguing.  I'm leaning towards the underdog in Vera and I'll be betting small for him but will Sandhagen out volume Vera for the whole 5 rounds or will the match be like Vera vs Font or Vera vs Cruz?  Hmmm..
I agree with you, odds for betting on underdog Vera is very good and I don't understand why bookmakers made Cory Sandhagen such a heavy favorite.
He is favorite but I would give him 55% to 60% chance to win maximum, and Very is in better form winning previous four fights.
Whoever wins this fight I think it will probably go to distance and full five rounds.

This are my predictions for main card:

Marlon Vera
Holly Holm
Nate Landwehr
Maycee Barber
Manel Kape
Chidi Njokuani

Yes. I thought it must be a mistake that they overlook what Vera can do against Sandhagen who lost against top dogs. Bookmakers must have forgotten that Vera beat the shit out of Sean. But I guess we'll be seeing them again soon.

Holly Holm keeps disappointing me in many fights after Rousey. But that fight still gives hope that she will surprise the crowd.

I see no one is talking about Holm's fight. It is important to remind how she was the legend who destroy Ronda Rousey's career, and today she is the underdog, but she looks really old nowadays and that's because she is 41 years old, I'm thinking of betting on her opponent Yana Santos. But it will be a great fight, for sure we will enjoy it because from what I read, Holm sign a 6 fights contract with UFC trying to become champ again. So, see will give it all in this fight.

They are friend only until big money appears or Merab will have huge ambitions to get a belt. UFC have lots of examples when true friends fought. Jon Jones and Rashad Evans, Covington and Masvidal. Former "friends till death" made bloody battles in octagon.

I dont think that CCC is able to take belt from Aljo. Cejudo is not Jones, he wont be same Cejudo after 3 year pause Cheesy I think UFC plans to make Cejudo farewell fight and join hall of fame later. Merab probably gonna fight against O'Malley and UFC desire O'Malley to win. O'Malley looks more like a money bag for UFC.

I surely think Merab Dvalishvili is waiting for the right opportunity to strike and take Aljamain Sterling's belt, well I think the thing that is stopping him was the fact that they know each other so they know their ups and downs so weaknesses included that they could be used at each other, and I think Aljamain Sterling is now used to wrestling as I can see in his fight with Petr Yan,

and for Henry Cejudo their height difference will surely become a factor in their fight, I think the height advantage of Aljamain Sterling is what he used against Yan, and against Cejudo, even though Henry Cejudo has advanced wrestling skills, or maybe near-level Khabib Nurmagomedov, I think the Height advantage of Sterling could also be a factor for Cejudo Struggling against him,

Well some say that Roman Dolidze was winning because he landed more strikes than Vettori but man Marvin Vettori really won this fight and if you would look closely into the match but yes Roman Dolidze has more power but Marvin Vettori is more technical, and either of the two doesn't come up with some grappling and have to to get on with the fight with striking, but yeah Dolidze doesn't have any variety going against Vettori while Marvin Vettori really has a good chin that can withstand your beating,

After Gaethje lost to Khabib (finally meeting his equal) he began blaming opponents using steroids and all types of things for his losses. When there were much better and more credible reasons for him losing. Like lack of jiu jitsu.
Btw he admitted that Khabib is very, very strong. Let's be frankly, Khabib is the only guy that no one can beat, even on steroids or other performance enhancement drugs. He is a legend and it makes me very sad that he retired so early and quickly lost his physical shape.

For me, for this event, I am really looking forward to Marlon Vera becoming the champion, but surely he will be having a hard time against the front door towards the belt and that is Merab "The Machine" Dvalishvili that insane 48 takedowns on Petr Yan was really insane and he has put a lot of cardio to execute it, for sure Merab will not fight Aljamain Sterling because of their friendship, but for sure Marlon "Chito" Vera will win against Cory Sandhagen,

Yup, 135 is getting pretty interesting now.  And Dvalishvili doesn't have to be in any pressure just yet as his team mate Aljamain Sterling is gonna fight Henry Cejudo next.  And with how good Cejudo's team is, he could win the belt from Sterling even after the long pay off.  I guess that sets up Dvalishvili to get a title shot next.

Anyway I don't think I'll be making greasy parlays and lottery tickets this weekend.  I'll just keep it simple and have a couple of bets.  Kape - Landwher parlay and a shot at the underdog spot Chito Vera.
Dvalishvili can be very relaxed and when the time is right he will easily take that belt. I'm guessing that Sterling loses the belt to someone else and takes it from him. If you don't have a belt, I don't know how to get it. however, he deserves the title. I really felt that in his last match with Yan, no one would stop him at this weight. He really attacks like a pitbull and has no intention of letting go of his opponents. Bantamweight has become my favorite weight. An interesting card, I will look at the other matches as well.

Sterling's next fight is vs Henry Cejudo.  And if Cejudo wins I think it would make a lot of sense to give Dvalfewfa.. Let's call him Merab.  Lol.  So yeah, it would make a lot of sense to give the title shot to Merab next.  But easily take the belt from Cejudo..?  Don't think so bud.  Cejudo is one tough customer.  But we'll see how he looks after the long lay off.

Here are a couple of tapes to watch to get you guys hyped for the main event this weekend.  I think you guys also need to watch the replay for Vera vs Font as that match could be more of the same as this match vs Sandhagen.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6h473ZEu24k

UFC Free Fight:  Vera vs Cruz

Cejudo is an agile athlete with outstanding wrestling skills, yes I had forgotten that was a good reminder lol.I remember the Cory Sandhagen vs Song match, I watched that match live. He was hitting his head like a sledgehammer with his elbows. Cory Sandhagen fights very effectively as Muah Thai, I like that side of him. I'm more interested in standing fights in this weight, it's really sharp. I think it will be a close fight, but with the referee's decision, the match will go to Cory.

Yup and depending on the outcome of his match vs Aljamain Sterling, word on the street is he wants to move up to 145 and go for the belt there vs Volk.  Cejudo prolly saw something in Volk's game and thinks he found a chink in the armor of some sort.  Dunno...  I mean why would he do it if he thinks Volk doesn't have a weakness.

Anyway, official weigh ins start in 30 minutes folks.  Have fun.

After that extreme 48 takedowns, I think I really like Merab Dvalishvili now, he surely deserves a title shot, and when Henry Cejudo beat Aljamain Sterling I think he can now make a move and take the belt for himself, I know they are friends and training partners but I guess Merab Dvalishvili wants the title for himself, and that is if Cejudo could take that belt off Sterling waist, but we surely don't know what Dvalishvili is really thinking so let's just wait what may happen,

This s one of the hardest UFC event for me to make predictions, and I am not sure about outcome of a single fight on this card.
Bookmakers made Cory Sandhagen a heavy favorite but I actually think Marlon Vera can surprise and win here and I would have this fight 50/50 or 55/45 most.
There are a lot of low odds traps on this event and I sure man of them will go in different direction.

Getting back on different topic, for anyone who is wondering why Kamaru Usman lost from Leon Edwards again, Francis Ngannou said that he was injured and didn't train properly.
I know he was supporting Usman and he was not happy when he lost that fight.

I will give you a little insight into what I think could happen in their fight Cory Sandhagen is a pretty much technical fighter but Marlon Vera is kind of the same, but with those unpredictable kicks I think he got the edge, and both have counter punches but for me, Marlon Vera is more durable and he is hard to hit clean but for sure this fight will be very slow on the 1st rounds but will eventually become explosive in the remaining of the rounds, so for me Chito Vera for me,

Kamaru Usman surely has some injuries I truly believe Francis Ngannou, Normally Usman needs to rest more than a year because he got knockdown badly by Leon Edwards that trauma in his head is still there as we can see Usman is heavily protecting his head not to get knockdown again, he is ready to go with a decision win against Leon Edwards but yeah Edwards was just tough for that,

All of a sudden the payment UFC offered him suits him. I remember he was saying that he wants to earn like Jake Paul. Costa has mentioned, that UFC has offered him already two opponents: Chimaev (who he had conflict during Chimaev vs Diaz event) or Strickland.
Anyone playing hard ball with the UFC, they will be feeding tough fights and i wont be surprised if Khamzat Chimaev will be his next opponent and the winner fights for the title.

I also think that between Chimaev or Strickland, better opponent for Costa would be Chimaev. Imagine if he looses to Strickland, who is weaker than Chimaev, then what will be the reason to fight with Chimaev then? But I dont think that Costa will be having a title fight if he beats one of them. He, Vettori, Cannonier, Whittaker will be having one win and they are top5. He would have to fight against someone of them or Costa, before he would get another chance to fight for a title.

For sure Henry Cejudo will win this just the height and reach advantage of Aljamain Sterling can also prevail in their fight, but I am still getting some data into Henry Cejudo, previous and recent fights, and training aswell, and will surely come back with a purpose, again in the UFC,
The advantage of Henry Cejudo is that he is a superior wrestler and Aljamain Sterling does have a wrestling based game plan which will negate and i am expecting this to be a stand up battle and Henry Cejudo has a fight IQ than the rest of the fighters as he really studies the tapes just like Jon Jones and finds the weakness of the opponents, but he is coming back after 3 years and the size difference is visible and hence curious to see how the fight will go.

Also, I have been skipping work and surfing the internet (as usually) and found that Justin Gaethjis every fight in UFC (except all title fights that he has lost) were fight or performance of the night. And he is holding a record of having most "of the night" rewards.
Justin Gaethje won fight of the night and performance of the night or both in almost all of his fights in the UFC even when he lost the fights and only against Khabib Nurmagomedov he did not win anything because it was a complete domination by Khabib.

Getting back on different topic, for anyone who is wondering why Kamaru Usman lost from Leon Edwards again, Francis Ngannou said that he was injured and didn't train properly.
I know he was supporting Usman and he was not happy when he lost that fight.
When someone won, many people either praise him or saying the scorecard was robbed. When someone lost, many people will respect him, bullying or disrespect or even more gave an excuse if he was injured.

So I wouldn't surprised to see Ngannou talk like that about Usman Cheesy there's no evidence if he was injured and a reason about didn't train properly is clearly Usman's fault.
