The fight between Strickland and Imavov showed that ranking is what matters. You dont get seventh place in top for nothing. As far as I see, Imavov just entered middleweight ranking, and he was thrown against seventh best fighter of that weight class. Expected outcome. As tokeweed say, first time fighting 5 rounds is all a new challenge. Not surprised that Strickland was better yesterday!

Ketlen Vieira, Punahele Soriano, and Damon Jackson unfortunately let me down for 16k. Vieira fight was close at least, and could've gone either way, but was probably the right decision. Soriano really struggled, and I should've expected as much considering how much he loads up without having the best of gas tanks. Damon Jackson really struggled against Ige though, and I expected more from him.

Strickland did what I expected, I think a lot of people underestimate his skill, and the decision was at 4.00 which is probably a reaction based on his last two losses, was definitely worth a shot on him. Unfortunately, I only do accumulators. I actually cashed out in the middle of the Vieira fight as I could see she was likely losing. I cashed out for a profit of 30 quid. Nothing to write home about.

Soriano is my pie shitter of the event.  I really thought it was gonna be easy for him and the other guy would be gassing out.  Turned out it was him.  Kopylov could actually be a good fighter with just a bad start in the UFC.  Let's see what's in store for him next...

I had Vieira winning R1 and R3.  I'm not really sure what fight the judges were watching.  Lol.  And as for Strickland va Imavov, the match being at 205 should've been a concern for Imavov.  It was also Imavov's first time to be in a 5 rounder.

Anyway moving on...

Edit:  Oh and it sucks that Ngannou left.  Ngannou vs Jones would've been the one.  :/

JON JONES is back! I never got the chance of seeing him live and have only seen highlights he looked to be one of the best fighters that do not have any obvious weaknesses. I think he beats Gane easily and becomes the heavyweight champion once again. I am not sure if there is any one that could beat Jones since Ngannou has left the UFC. What is next for Ngannou?

It could be that Imavov didn't do his best. You can see his takedown attempt was the worse ever, who does that? I'm hoping he'll use his Dagestan wrestling to pin Strickland to the ground. It still lasted 5 rounds though.

Oh I was so wrong about Sean Strickland, he won against Nassourdine Imavov on short notice.
I was not impressed with quality of this whole event, but there was few good fights and some surprises.

Jon Jones might fight Cyril Gane on March for a championship. However, whether this championship will be for the interim championship or the real championship is not confirmed. According to Ariel Helwani, there are also rumors that the UFC will remove Francis Ngannou from the heavyweight championship.
Big news, champion Francis Ngannou is officialy released from UFC!
Jon Jones will return to fight with Ciryl Gane for vacated heavyweight title, but this is big loss for UFC and chance for some other MMA competition to hire Ngannou.
This is one more confirmation for me that UFC is slowly declining, and they don't have full domination like before.

Francis I think can then go boxing already which he had been wishing for. He wants to get millions in a fight, hope he'd be signed already.
Francis is out, Jones is in and Dana gives Jones a good match.

Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane will reportedly clash for the heavyweight title in the main event of UFC 285 on March 4.

Rumors of the contest started swirling earlier this afternoon after a photo of Jones vs Gane was seen advertised at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Ariel Helwani also mentioned that the information was released by mistake when an employee of the T-Mobile Arena displayed this very early without the announcement from uncle Dana hehehehe.

Any top class wrestler among welterweight. Burns showed that Chimaev is not unbeatable. Covington - with his unlimited stamina has chances to beat him. Usman is able to do it. The problem with Chimaev is that he is big and I suppose has problem to make weight. As soon as he moves to middleweight, that division is full of guys who can beat him. Chimaev is to much self confident. That will play bad for him.

He surely is Beatable, but you surely can not take away that he can smash anybody, I think he can overpower people in his division even the champion right now Leon Edwards, can not surely win against him for me I could say Khamzat Chimaev will have a hard time against Shavkat Rakhmonov, that is the most anticipated match I want to see, Russian Versus Russian a really anticipated fight that I want to see but for me a good fight and good PPV is that Khamzat Chimaev will be champion 1st then Shavkat Rakhmonov will challenge him,

Right, getting my predictions out early today. Here they are:

Charles Johnson
Daniel Argueta
Allan Nascimento
Mateusz Rębecki
Claudio Ribeiro
Javid Basharat
Umar Nurmagomedov
Ketlen Vieira
Punahele Soriano
Damon Jackson
Sean Strickland

As much as I dislike Strickland's fighting style, I think he's going to take it via decision. Soriano fight is going to be a close one so I'm not that confident in that pick.

A good one in my opinion, but I think that Sean Strickland will surely be having a hardtime against Nassourdine Imavov because he got accurate striking pretty much that volume will surely come in handy for him and I think Nassourdine Imavov has a decent wrestling that Sean strictland right now the fight will surely commerce any time soon,

I doubt he can win in such a short notice and Imavov is a better fighter IMO who is better prepared for this fight.
Odds on Imavov are great and I think he could win with a KO or submission, I don't expect to see main event going to distance.
Umar Nurmagomedov just made one more win and he continues with amazing 16-0 record in MMA Shocked this guy really needs to fight for bantamweight title.

The only stories I really care about in the UFC right now are Khamzat kicking everyone's ass...  When will someone be able to beat him, or at least not look like a rag doll out there?

Dana White said that he wont get punished for that, nor he see how he could be punished. Feminists must be furious right now. They have claimed that he should leave the post of UFC CEO, but Mr. White said that UFC could easily function without him, he could retire in 2016 already as he has earned enough, he could leave his post, but that wont change much. Dana 1, feminists 0.

Seriously, how can him leaving UFC CEO post help this situation? How can a fine help this situation? I think he has already had a bad talk with his wife at home, in private.

Love him or hate him, he is the face of UFC, and as the president of UFC I think he is good at it, but eventually, something like that issue needs to be in private but sad to say there are many who have camera phones right now so you will be capture in just one snap, well both Dana White and his Wife was sorry about the kids and I think they are sorry for what has happened for sure it is not only Dana White's fault his wife was involved aswell and regarding the last Johnny Depp incident right now we can not say for sure who has really started the altercation his wife had to slap him so he needs to slap back, but both of them are very apologetic that it happens in a public place, I guess we should move on his wife is not brutally injured it was just a slap, and both of them sure is at fault, for me just this time every problem regarding the family matters should be kept on privately,

Now here are my picks for the UFC Fight Night: Strickland vs. Imavov I was really disappointed when the fight Geoff Neal vs. Shavkat Rakhmonov was canceled, so here is the list of my picks and what I think about this fight,

Sean Strickland VS Nassourdine Imavov

The stake odds for this fight are 2.10 for Strickland and 1.74 for Imavov, for me the late preparation of Strickland is very crucial for him and because of that he is 10 pounds heavier than Nassourdine Imavov but even though that was the case I think Nassourdine Imavov has great striking and much more dominant when it comes to wrestling and grappling pertaining this because Strickland is in now late preparation in dealing with Imavov, but surely his last fight was against Jared Cannonier that was last 12/17/2022 which is most recently but for me, my bet is Nassourdine Imavov,

Dan Ige VS Damon Jackson

The stake odds for this fight are 1.78 for Ige and 2.05 for Jackson, for this fight, for me Dan Ige can finish this fight whether it is standing or even on the ground while his opponent Jackson now Jackson has the reach and height advantage but his fight with Ilia Topuria has proven size does not matter, so for this Dan Ige can be like Topuria not close to Topuria but can have that kind of guts inside the ring destroying Jackson so I would go with Dan Ige,

Umar Nurmagomedov VS Raoni Barcelos

The stake odds for this fight are  1.11 for Umar Nurmagomedov, and 6.80 for Barcelos, With odds like this surely I am not betting because of the high volume, but I will bet for Umar Nurmagomedov winning via submission for sure, Raoni Barcelos surely has decent boxing, but Umar The Kicking Nurmagomedov surely has combo's that could go on dominant with Raoni Barcelo's boxing and that is his reach with his kicking, and when the fight goes south Umar can unleash the fury of his submission and finish it with that, so my pick Umar Nurmagomedov betting for the submission win, against Barcelos,

Yeah, this event with the number of drop outs is going to be a stinker I think. It's annoying because they never really let you know the new start time either, so you get there at the time the event is suppose to start, and they just run ads for like an hour.

The only stories I really care about in the UFC right now are Khamzat kicking everyone's ass...  When will someone be able to beat him, or at least not look like a rag doll out there?
Burns certainly didn't look like a rag doll, in fact there's an argument that he won that fight. For me, Khamzat probably did just take it, but in the moment it felt like Burns was winning that fight. I mean, Khamzat very nearly got slept, I distinctively recall him face planting the floor. I wouldn't mind seeing them fight again, Burns also looked to threaten him on the ground, which was refreshing to see. Khamzat will definitely lose, it's definitely coming I'm just wondering who's going to be the one to end the run.

I see more fighters are dropping out from upcoming UFC event, Sijara Eubanks had to be removed because of weigh cutting issues.
We already know what happened with Kelvin Gastelum face, when Sean Strickland had to jump in on short notice to fill his spot.
Watching faceoffs I have to say that Sean Strickland doesn't look very serious and prepared so I have to take my bet on Imavov.
I am interested to see how Punahele Soriano will perform against Roman Kopylov, I remember some of his pervious explosive performance , but I don't know if he fully recovered after injury and health problems.

Also he is more alpha as a  as a man.  when Moreno, Brandon is more  soft personality also I notice that he is playing with lego on his age and has soft voice in general.
I'm not criticizing you since you've already won a decent amount, but found this hard to follow. Since I don't think this means a lot at all. Some of the most soft spoken people are also some of the most talented. I also don't really believe in alphas, I mean these guys are fighters through, and through, and comparing who's the bigger, and stronger based on how they conduct themselves doesn't seem like the winning formula.

The other points you made make more sense, and is probably why you've done well in the past. I enjoyed the insight at least, just don't agree with everything you said.

Suga Sean O'Malley talking like he's a champion while his fighting skills have shown that he's barely getting by.  He's got a great youtube presence though and is an all around entertaining guy to watch and I hope he does well...

Paddy the Baddy, who also has a great personality and youtube channel.  His last fight was a win but we all know he lost.  Will he and Suga meet up at some point?  Will he lose his next fight and go into professional eating?

Then the only story that perhaps matters... Conor McGregor.  It's been long enough.  Let him pass a test to show he's off the juice and stick him in the octagon with some poor soul...

The next fight i am going to predict is: Figueiredo, Deiveson vs Moreno, Brandon prediction (21 january 202)

Many people ask me about my predictions after I Won 3500 usd on ufc fight and predicted it.

Figueiredo, Deiveson vs Moreno, Brandon  fight history:

1st fight draw (figuerdo was robbed i believe)

2 st fight moreno dominated with his BJJ.

3st fight Figueiredo won landed more powerful strike and block his bjj and td.

4 st fight set to be in 21 january

ODDS OF FORTH FIRTH:

0.89
0.89

Why I believe he is going to win? After the 2st fight Figuerdo start trading with Henry cejudo one of the goats of ufc and he improved his game.
He improved his take down defense and his bjj and I am sure henry give him more tips.

He is more winner than Moreno you could see it on their records.
Also he is more alpha as a  as a man.  when Moreno, Brandon is more  soft personality also I notice that he is playing with lego on his age and has soft voice in general.

Figueiredo has more power 43% of his fights by ko
Moreno, Brandon  has 23% of his power by ko.

Both Have a good chin never finished by ko before.

I feel like the transition to work with henry and his strong mind will lead him to the forth win

Summarize

Figueiredo, Deiveson - Will win. I believe he will be able to shut him down for good this time with KO or win be decision due to more powerful shots and stronger mind.

^  Dana White is the president, not the CEO and he already has the back room set in place.  The guy behind the scenes who really makes all the important deals, fighter contracts, concerns with the commissions per state, approves the match making and all the other important stuff is done by Hunter Campbell.  He's the guy.  All the match making stuff are done by Mick Maynard and Sean Shelby.  So yeah, Dana White is mostly an overseer these days and reports to the UFC brass.

But there's one thing nobody can't do what Dana White does best...  Be the face of the company.  Love him or hate him, he does the job well.

Official weigh ins in around 1.5 hours.

That Dana White and that slap scandal is everywhere. That is great example how one second can ruin reputation built for years. Imho, what Dana White has done is unacceptable. Specially in a lawful society like it is in US. I suggest everyone to follow the numbers of UFC subscriptions and event attendance, as this year, they are going to go down.

Well, we can not access what really happened back then the whole story, and what started it I think both Dana White and his wife would likely want this to keep private, the reputation of Dana White is on the line here, and his whole career and even the UFC might be at stake aswell, for me this is better kept private however this is surely domestic violence for sure but it is on Dana White's white to file a case against him to take this a formal case against White,
