After that extreme 48 takedowns, I think I really like Merab Dvalishvili now, he surely deserves a title shot, and when Henry Cejudo beat Aljamain Sterling I think he can now make a move and take the belt for himself, I know they are friends and training partners but I guess Merab Dvalishvili wants the title for himself, and that is if Cejudo could take that belt off Sterling waist, but we surely don't know what Dvalishvili is really thinking so let's just wait what may happen,

They are friend only until big money appears or Merab will have huge ambitions to get a belt. UFC have lots of examples when true friends fought. Jon Jones and Rashad Evans, Covington and Masvidal. Former "friends till death" made bloody battles in octagon.

I dont think that CCC is able to take belt from Aljo. Cejudo is not Jones, he wont be same Cejudo after 3 year pause Cheesy I think UFC plans to make Cejudo farewell fight and join hall of fame later. Merab probably gonna fight against O'Malley and UFC desire O'Malley to win. O'Malley looks more like a money bag for UFC.

Dvalishvili can be very relaxed and when the time is right he will easily take that belt. I'm guessing that Sterling loses the belt to someone else and takes it from him. If you don't have a belt, I don't know how to get it. however, he deserves the title. I really felt that in his last match with Yan, no one would stop him at this weight. He really attacks like a pitbull and has no intention of letting go of his opponents. Bantamweight has become my favorite weight. An interesting card, I will look at the other matches as well.

This s one of the hardest UFC event for me to make predictions, and I am not sure about outcome of a single fight on this card.
Bookmakers made Cory Sandhagen a heavy favorite but I actually think Marlon Vera can surprise and win here and I would have this fight 50/50 or 55/45 most.
There are a lot of low odds traps on this event and I sure man of them will go in different direction.

Getting back on different topic, for anyone who is wondering why Kamaru Usman lost from Leon Edwards again, Francis Ngannou said that he was injured and didn't train properly.
I know he was supporting Usman and he was not happy when he lost that fight.

I will give you a little insight into what I think could happen in their fight Cory Sandhagen is a pretty much technical fighter but Marlon Vera is kind of the same, but with those unpredictable kicks I think he got the edge, and both have counter punches but for me, Marlon Vera is more durable and he is hard to hit clean but for sure this fight will be very slow on the 1st rounds but will eventually become explosive in the remaining of the rounds, so for me Chito Vera for me,

Kamaru Usman surely has some injuries I truly believe Francis Ngannou, Normally Usman needs to rest more than a year because he got knockdown badly by Leon Edwards that trauma in his head is still there as we can see Usman is heavily protecting his head not to get knockdown again, he is ready to go with a decision win against Leon Edwards but yeah Edwards was just tough for that,

All of a sudden the payment UFC offered him suits him. I remember he was saying that he wants to earn like Jake Paul. Costa has mentioned, that UFC has offered him already two opponents: Chimaev (who he had conflict during Chimaev vs Diaz event) or Strickland.
Anyone playing hard ball with the UFC, they will be feeding tough fights and i wont be surprised if Khamzat Chimaev will be his next opponent and the winner fights for the title.

I also think that between Chimaev or Strickland, better opponent for Costa would be Chimaev. Imagine if he looses to Strickland, who is weaker than Chimaev, then what will be the reason to fight with Chimaev then? But I dont think that Costa will be having a title fight if he beats one of them. He, Vettori, Cannonier, Whittaker will be having one win and they are top5. He would have to fight against someone of them or Costa, before he would get another chance to fight for a title.

For sure Henry Cejudo will win this just the height and reach advantage of Aljamain Sterling can also prevail in their fight, but I am still getting some data into Henry Cejudo, previous and recent fights, and training aswell, and will surely come back with a purpose, again in the UFC,
The advantage of Henry Cejudo is that he is a superior wrestler and Aljamain Sterling does have a wrestling based game plan which will negate and i am expecting this to be a stand up battle and Henry Cejudo has a fight IQ than the rest of the fighters as he really studies the tapes just like Jon Jones and finds the weakness of the opponents, but he is coming back after 3 years and the size difference is visible and hence curious to see how the fight will go.

Also, I have been skipping work and surfing the internet (as usually) and found that Justin Gaethjis every fight in UFC (except all title fights that he has lost) were fight or performance of the night. And he is holding a record of having most "of the night" rewards.
Justin Gaethje won fight of the night and performance of the night or both in almost all of his fights in the UFC even when he lost the fights and only against Khabib Nurmagomedov he did not win anything because it was a complete domination by Khabib.

For me, for this event, I am really looking forward to Marlon Vera becoming the champion, but surely he will be having a hard time against the front door towards the belt and that is Merab "The Machine" Dvalishvili that insane 48 takedowns on Petr Yan was really insane and he has put a lot of cardio to execute it, for sure Merab will not fight Aljamain Sterling because of their friendship, but for sure Marlon "Chito" Vera will win against Cory Sandhagen,

Yup, 135 is getting pretty interesting now.  And Dvalishvili doesn't have to be in any pressure just yet as his team mate Aljamain Sterling is gonna fight Henry Cejudo next.  And with how good Cejudo's team is, he could win the belt from Sterling even after the long pay off.  I guess that sets up Dvalishvili to get a title shot next.

Anyway I don't think I'll be making greasy parlays and lottery tickets this weekend.  I'll just keep it simple and have a couple of bets.  Kape - Landwher parlay and a shot at the underdog spot Chito Vera.

Sterling's next fight is vs Henry Cejudo.  And if Cejudo wins I think it would make a lot of sense to give Dvalfewfa.. Let's call him Merab.  Lol.  So yeah, it would make a lot of sense to give the title shot to Merab next.  But easily take the belt from Cejudo..?  Don't think so bud.  Cejudo is one tough customer.  But we'll see how he looks after the long lay off.

Here are a couple of tapes to watch to get you guys hyped for the main event this weekend.  I think you guys also need to watch the replay for Vera vs Font as that match could be more of the same as this match vs Sandhagen.

Cejudo is an agile athlete with outstanding wrestling skills, yes I had forgotten that was a good reminder lol.I remember the Cory Sandhagen vs Song match, I watched that match live. He was hitting his head like a sledgehammer with his elbows. Cory Sandhagen fights very effectively as Muah Thai, I like that side of him. I'm more interested in standing fights in this weight, it's really sharp. I think it will be a close fight, but with the referee's decision, the match will go to Cory.

Hope all of you remember such funny guy as Paulo Costa. Hope that you remember how he did not like UFC and their contract, USADA, low payment and wanted to become a free agent. Few days ago that guy has signed a 4-fight contract with UFC Cheesy How do you like that ? Cheesy All of a sudden the payment UFC offered him suits him. When someone won, many people either praise him or saying the scorecard was robbed. When someone lost, many people will respect him, bullying or disrespect or even more gave an excuse if he was injured.

So I wouldn't surprised to see Ngannou talk like that about Usman Cheesy there's no evidence if he was injured and a reason about didn't train properly is clearly Usman's fault.

Usman should be more different from their previous fight. Instead, he was still working as a first number, but avoided most of risky situations. In general that fight was really boring. Previous fights in card were more exciting. Usman failed to give 200% of him. Edwards managed to get 1 point deduction, fought dirty and still won. That shows how bad Usman was that evening.

Looking at Kamaru Usman in his 2nd fight with Leon Edwards and comparing it with their 3rd fight, I was shocked that Kamaru Usman is performing pretty much great in their 2nd fight, I think Leon Edwards is just performing normally, but the real problem is Kamaru Usman was the one that is not performing perfectly that night, well there are a lot of experts that are saying that Kamaru Usman surely has a health issue that he should have rested a year before getting another fight he is not well rested, you can really see the trauma in Kamaru Usman, even though he would not show it emotionally you will see it from the reaction he was covering his head the whole time so much afraid of that Kick Leon Edwards threw at him, while not covering his body this really cause him he is really afraid of Leon Edwards kick he is definitely traumatized,

The UFC fight night in this week where the main event is Marlon Vera vs Cory Sandhagen, I think Vera should win this fight because Sandhagen was lose 2 from 3 of his recent fights, Sandhagen doesn't have something special to beat Vera. All of Vera losses is by decision, so I doubt Sandhagen might win via KO.

But strangely Vera is the underdog in this fight, obviously I will bet Vera.

If Marlon Vera is the underdog in this fight I will definitely go to put my bet on him Marlon Vera to everybody that doesn't know is a technical fighter, he is getting the 1st round as a setup to make him dominant with this fight, I think all doubters of Marlon Vera doesn't really bother him 1 bit, I think that uniqueness from Vera will definitely make him going to win this fight, that nasty kicks will surely surprise Sandhagen,

Recently some changes have occured in such strange thing called pound for pound rating. Kamaru Usman, that used to lead that rating now has dropped to 8th place. Even Aljo is better than Usman Cheesy Usman needs an easy next fight to recover his reputation. To bad, as a former champ and top fighter, UFC wont give him an easy next fight.

You know how I dont like that top, but now it looks even weirder than ever. Hope I dont see Jon Jones there for next few years if he stays inactive again. Wonder how much time will pass until Jones performs some crap.

I need to see round 2 of Fiziev vs Gaethje again.

My initial thoughts are Fiziev won round 1 and 2. While Gaethje won round 3.

When Gaethje first fought in the UFC, he impressively defeated Michael Johnson. In post fight interview, Gaethje demanded to meet his equal (believing he had no equal).

After Gaethje lost to Khabib (finally meeting his equal) he began blaming opponents using steroids and all types of things for his losses. When there were much better and more credible reasons for him losing. Like lack of jiu jitsu.

Its disappointing how Gaethje mindset shifted to become very negative when he began facing challenges and adversity. Gaethje entered the UFC with an invincible spirit. It is sad to see that change.

Lol.  I thought I'd win 4 of my lottery tickets until Fiziev sht the pie.

You would laugh when you find out that in that fight Gaethje has secured his first takedown in UFC Cheesy 6 years in UFC, 10 fights, NCAA wrestler, made first takedown Cheesy

I thought Holly Holm retired I am surprised to see her back fighting she has not fought in a couple of years and she was the main women fighter in her prime. I wonder if she is still good or if it will be 1 of those come backs where she gets finished and never competes again. She was probably 1 of the most exciting women banterweights in the UFC and I think she could have made more of her career if she recovered from that 1 bad loss she had.

And next was the fighting Kitties that I am interested in, and Holly Holm, Yana Santos, Andrea Lee, Maycee Barber, and Hailey Cowan but for now I think many are not really moving on with the previous fight and this will surely keep on going until the next fight started, we all know how shocking the main event was,

I doubt we will see the fourth fight because Edwards clearly beat Usman, if he was not get point deduction, Edwards will win by unanimous decision. I already expecting Edwards will win this fight because losing via KO wasn't a fluke.

However we might see a good fight between Edwards vs Chimaev because Edwards is an anti wrestler while Chimaev is pure wrestler. I think if the fight will happen, I will choose Chimaev.

For sure Khamzat Chimaev is an explosive wrestler he will surely shoot a fast takedown against Leon Edwards this fight will be a snap, definitely will go with Chimaev aswell, but for sure even though many know how Khamzat Chimaev will do things they couldn't figure out what is really happening even those takedown defense will be for naught if the wrestling chain reach the cage it will just be more effective, and yes Leon Edwards have already said he is moving on so no more rematch that will take place,

Dana White has already announced, that Colby Covington, that was to asked to be ready to replace Usman or Edwards in UFC 286, will be Edwards new opponent. Imho that will be an easy fight for Edwards. Despite Covington has endless tank and spam strikes, he is not in prime anymore. He fights once a year. His last wins were against Masvidal (that was on a series of two losses), Woodley (that was on a series of two losses also and about to get kicked out) and Lawler (that was also on a series of two losses lol). Since 2018 Masvidal did not have real tough opponents, and it is 2023 outside already Cheesy
Yes, this fight has been announced. Colby watched from the sidelines. Edwards after posting the belt at the end of the match. No one seems to have taken Colby seriously when he acted like I'd call him and finish you off. Edward Lion will retain the belt in that match. I don't know if there will be a Chiamev match, I feel like Chiamev might lose control and lose against him when he can't do what he wants, but I'm not sure. Because Khamzat Chiamev can grind him down with his wrestling. If this match is announced, we'll talk again.
