Here are the weigh ins.  I didn't really think Reyes was that much taller compared to Jones before (but wow Reyes is tall).  I wonder how that factors in during the match.

Juan Adams (266) vs. Justin Tafa (265.5)
Mirsad Bektic (145) vs. Dan Ige (145.5)
Derrick Lewis (261.5) vs. Ilir Latifi (246.5)
Trevin Giles (185.5) vs. Antonio Arroyo (186)
Alex Morono (171) vs. Kalinn Williams (169)
Lauren Murphy (125) vs. Andrea Lee (125.5)
Miles Johns (135) vs. Mario Bautista (135)
Journey Newson (135.5) vs. Domingo Pilarte (135.5)

^  Yup.  Jones could win at the fourth or fifth (most likely fifth or goes to a decision).  Still wanna see him get KO'd tho.  Grin
A possible KO for Jones will not set aside especially that his opponent is a counter puncher. But you know, it won't happen as long as Bones will be very careful again (like we all knew). Besides, he longer reach which put him into an advantage so Reyes will for sure find a hard time to execute his secret weapon Grin.

Honestly, I'm also hoping that Jones will be knocked out but I think not this time mate. I can sense that Bones will destroy him instead Cheesy.

At 9:00, Jones team knows the strength of Reyes too including his counter punching. I'm quite confident now that Jones will try to drag this fight.
The difference here is that Jon Jones does not have a particular pattern and both these fighters know each other very well and how well they adapt in the fight makes the difference, Reyes have a good left hand and if you look at all his past fights he knock out his opponent when they launches them to attack he counter punches with a powerful left and i am sure Jon Jones will not launch at him and he will keep the kicking distance and i am not expecting this to be a boxing match but instead in the Kickboxing range.

I reckon that Conor should make him interested. Fight Justin Gaethje on lightweight or welterweight and then fight Jorge Masvidal on welterweight. A victory on Jorge would light his star brighter and cause Khabib to be very jealous and fight hehehhe.
Khabib Nurmagomedov rejected the Saudi offer of $100 million to rematch Conor McGregor and he said to use that for charity for a good cause rather than fighting an idiot who he dominated in every level, his mentality is different and he is clearly not after money and the UFC and Conor should impress him to see a worthy opponent in him before seeing a rematch.

I am expecting a third or fourth round finish by Jon Jones because this will be the first time Dominick Reyes will be going past the third round and we are not seen his conditioning, so i am expecting Jon Jones to finish in the championship rounds.

Justin Gaethje will not dance to the tune of Conor McGregor and move up in weight to fight him, if there is a fight between Justin Gaethje and Conor McGregor then it will be a tough fight for both and it can be a title eliminator fight and if that happens and Conor wins then he can once again face Khabib, Jorge Masvidal and Kamaru Usman will be fighting for the title and hence we might not see that match up for another six months. Justin Gaethje is a good opponent and it is highly unlikely Conor will take that fight, if he takes that then it can be considered as a title eliminator and it will be a huge fight.

"It's gonna be about endurance in this fight, speed, and agility" - Jon Jones at 4:30
I've pointed in my previous comment that the endurance of Reyes has not really been tested yet since he finishes opponents early. I've learned that he was also an athlete (former football player) but the octagon is a different animal and it's also a five-rounder. Obviously, the Jones team knows better and I'm excited to see what their strategy is during the fight.

That makes sense. He thinks he can always beat Conor no matter how many times they fight and that's probably why he said "... to beat up that idiot again" in a press conference. A win over the BMF holder would send everyone nuts and would want to fight Conor again. I'm not sure about the being jealous part though, Khabib doesn't seem to concerned about the spotlight unlike some other guys (Conor, Diaz, Gaethje and other loud-mouthed fighters).

Indeed, McGregor must climb from bottom to top before facing the camp once again. Well, that's good for him anyway to keep his fire burning Cheesy. The feeling of being an underdog is the best fuel for him to grind more (and I hope not only on striking but now mainly on ground lol). I also don't think beating Cowboy is enough for him to get a title shot.~
He said so himself that he isn't there yet during his octagon interview after he KO'd Cowboy. That statement alone suggests that he is extremely motivated to get back into the top spot. Aside from the record of knocking out guys in three different divisions, I think he is also trying to be a three division champion. All he needs is one or two more fights for WW title contention.

~
Khabib might not be interested in the rematch as he defeated Conor without a shadow of doubt but i am expecting them to rematch next year or the year end card.
Khabib isn't interested but his father is. The old man means business and even talks about getting Mayweather.

Conor McGregor is a top contender in the lightweight division as he is ranked number 3 behind Tony Ferguson and Dustin Poirier and since Dustin already fought Khabib and Tony Ferguson is scheduled to fight next and the UFC wants Khabib and Conor rematch once against because it is a big day at the box office as they will be reaping millions and they love the money, Khabib might not be interested in the rematch as he defeated Conor without a shadow of doubt but i am expecting them to rematch next year or the year end card.
Well, of course Dan will pull this off Roll Eyes. Business is business, if we want it then that's what he will give because it means money *kaching kaching. But talking about with the possible result, I think Khabib will still dominate him if and only if McGregor can not find ways to counter the ground skills of Khabib; especially that he is bulkier now, I wonder if he's cardio despite of shifting of weight classes is not a problem at all.

Well, it's still a long road. Let's see first whether El Cucuy could bring The Eagle's first taste of loss. I'm so excited Smiley.

Khabib already answered. He does not want to fight Conor for any price. I reckon Conor should prove his greatness again before he can make Khabib look at him hehehe. I am the most loyal Conor fan, however, the fight versus Cowboy is nothing to make him rematch Khabib.

Don't get me wrong, I'm also a fan of Cowboy but let's admit that he is not a worthy opponent anymore due to his age maybe Grin. If Conor really want to face Khabib again, he should kill bigger fish like Ferguson or at least impress the crowd by defeating fighters in featherweight division.

Conor should win some fights in the 155 pound division before going for the rematch, if he really wanted to rematch Khabib he would have done that in the 155 pound division against Cerrone but instead he opted for 170 pound division which is a mystery, may be he is looking for more options and the funny thing is that after the fight Conor did not talk about or called out Khabib but Dana White was pushing the rematch Cheesy.

I have seen a crazy video on Youtube and that is Saudi Arabia has offered $100 Million Dollar for Khabib Nurmagomedov to fight Connor McGregor or Floyd Mayweather on a fight, I know that this could be a different story but I am shocked that Saudis would want to see a fight and is offering something Million Dollar Money to see this fight, I know that the UFC 249 is on April Versus Nurmagomedov and Ferguson but I really can't wait to see that in action, plus many news on the video about the fight of Jon Jones VS Dominick Reyes, plus Masvidal is getting personal.

Well, in a recent interview when asked about the rematch with Conor for 100 million dollars, Khabib laughed and said:

“Why do I need that kind of money. There are so many organizations for example, there is not only football for the blind, there are Sambo and other sports. Let [UFC] give it to them, if they don’t know what to do with the money. But giving me $100 million for me to beat up that idiot again? I don’t think it’s rational.”

JJ is extremely motivated for this fight alright but I want to give credit to DR for getting getting him riled up like that. I have never seen JJ so aggressive in pre-fight interviews and face offs since DC. It's not easy to play mind games against someone like JJ but I think DR has gotten into his head.
The fight game is all about mental strength and confidence and Jon Jones always thrive when he create an enmity against the opponent he usually fights better and with the fights against Anthony Smith and Thiago Santos he was not that motivated to finish the fight but i am expecting a stoppage in this fight.

Hearing JJ talks about being disrespectful makes me laugh. Someone who has gamed the sport using substance is disrespectful.
Jones wants to motivate himself and have an enmity towards the opponent to motivate himself as i said earlier but the substance abuse is just because of his wild life style he had and the contents were micro grams which will not help in performance and it will get into your body through contaminated substance.

he can win. he seem precise to his target, i'm sure you also watched hi previous fights so its also possible that jones will have trouble difficulty.
No doubt. He is good really at counter-punching which is why I said Jones should drag the fight and let Reyes push forward to tire him out.

Quote
but seeing he has more experience i'd bet for him still and  as long as he has the poking fingers he has more advantage.
So the move that will make the difference in this fight is his signature eye poke huh?  Cheesy
Well, he has mastered it and became a blackbelt at that. Maybe he could also open a school and teach pro-level eye poking  Huh Cool
