What the f**k did these judges are watching?
I know it was a close one, but majority saw Dom winning the fight, I mean it was a clear day robbery to be honest. I think UFC should seriously look at this judges. Or least give Dom a shot at Jones again, unless Jones avoid it by going up to heavyweight.

Whether he was paid to give that bullsh*t 4-1 decision or not, he must be banned because he is obviously biased. For now, Dominick Reyes wanted an immediate rematch. It is very possible as it seems Dana likes him. But I can feel that Jon Jones will win in a rematch. That dirty champ will train harder. He's got the experience and is actually not that old.
Of course, a robbery could save him once again lol. But kidding aside, I think there's one thing Reyes could do to win and that is knocking out Jones at all cost since we already saw that this fight can't be done in a decision

Indeed, Even DC and other UFC fighters thought Reyes should win. I don't really know what the judges saw on Jones' performance which make them decide in favor on him. Maybe the consistent pressure he gave (like what joe rogan said)? If that's the case then do you really believe it weighs greater than Reyes' tons of sharp punches he threw? You decide. But for me, nah I don't think so.

But yeah, all people I heard said Dominick Reyes was robbed. These people are of course mma fanatics and not just luring casuals. That 49-46 score was a disgrace and that person should be banned or suspended from judging mma fights again.

Personally after watching JJ vs Reyes I think Reyes kinda deserve to win because he put that pressure 2 rounds and win another on at limit so that make 3 rounds for him and only 2 for JJ. We saw a tired JJ that could get KO'ed from Reyes in any moment, we saw him that he is no longer in his prime for years now and I think this might have been his last victory but what a record he did , breaking it from the legendary Saint-Pierre. For this great record I will admire JJ forever.

The only issue about the main event was the 4-1 round for Jones in one of Judge's scorecard but it's pointless to argue about that now.

- Jones was prepared for five rounds - that's easy to see since he looks fresher in rounds 4 & 5 and had the crispier hits.
- Reyes was prepared for three rounds - You can easily see that on how he pushed it in the first 3 rounds. He wasted a lot of energy especially in round 2 when he chased Jones and missed a lot of punches. Jones just dodged and wiggled.
- Jones controlling the center the ring most of the fight - I personally wasn't expecting that. I thought he'll be the one circling around most of the time. That I think is another strategy for Jones to conserve energy and to tire out Reyes faster.
I agree on the part that the fight was very close, but knowing that Reyes lose is what I did not expect. How come that Jones still won? For me the first 3 rounds is definitely for Reyes while the remaining two is for Jones. However, that two rounds for Jones are not very solid. He attempted take downs but Reyes able to stop so for me it's not a significant pount for him to win. And the decision was still Unanimous and not at least a Split? That makes me more believe that Reyes was robbed in this fight

The fight was really close and i thought it will be another split decision victory but the judges gave two close rounds and one judge gave a dominating round for Jon Jones but the last two rounds Jon Jones was clearly dominating as Dominick Reyes clearly gassed out and his punches were telegraph and his take down defense was great, if he fights like this against heavyweight then Jon Jones might get knocked out. In close fights like this, the defending champ usually gets the nod.

Good assessment (and your previous comments). Jones indeed tire his opponent out the entire match. Reyes pressed but couldn't keep the fast pace attacks/combos for the entire fight and Jones, being the more experienced and athletic fighter, capitalized in the later rounds. I am going for a parlay for these fights and even though the odds are not that great it is a fun fight and i am not expecting any surprises. The only doubt is the height difference of Derrick Lewis and Ilir Latifi and whether Derrick will struggle to land a punch because he will be able to avoid those heavy blows but i highly doubt Ilir Latifi could cover this much distance and land a knockout punch simply because of the size and height difference.

Oh I think they are worried but with every fight, great preparation is key. Reyes is definitely unlike what other fighters Jones faced before. I cannot wait to see how Jones will react to the first solid punch he will receive from Reyes. So I changed my mind completely after I saw some more promo videos with Reyes Vs Jones and I must say, Reyes looks like that kid you bullied in school and out of nowhere he turns and makes anyone K.O....he has a baby killer face and I think Jones should be a little worried...I'm not saying he is gonna win over Jones but I say his odds are solid right now and his style and endurance will make Jones fight all the rounds.

If Khabib indeed said that he will not fight Conor for 100 Million USD and called him an idiot, I think Conor needs to find a reason why Khabib will take grab the offer and fight him again. Beating Cerrone is not enough for Khabib. But I guess a fellow Russian will be enough to fight him. But question is, is there another Russian guy in the UFC list that is in their weight class?
My respect to Khabib increased because of what he said. Other MMA fighter would have accepted the offer and scheduled a fight already, but not for him. Khabib is not for the money, he is for the love of the sport.

I didn't really think Reyes was that much taller compared to Jones before (but wow Reyes is tall). I wonder how that factors in during the match.
Yes, he is. That's the first thing that I noticed when I saw them faced off and I previously pointed that out. The height and reach of Reyes will be a huge factor in this fight. He can close the distance quicker compared to Jones previous opponents. I expect a cat and mouse with Reyes chasing in the first couple of rounds.
The difference here is that Jon Jones does not have a particular pattern and both these fighters know each other very well and how well they adapt in the fight makes the difference, Reyes have a good left hand and if you look at all his past fights he knock out his opponent when they launches them to attack he counter punches with a powerful left and i am sure Jon Jones will not launch at him and he will keep the kicking distance and i am not expecting this to be a boxing match but instead in the Kickboxing range.
How do you know that they know each other very well?Jones will be running around with his arms extended to distance himself from those powerful punches as usual. I wouldn't be surprised if there will be temporary fight stoppage due to eye poke.
