Nothing much can be said about this event. Good show for decent viewers/fans, but kinda boring for those who's been watching fights for years. Even though there were KO's that evening, none of the fight got "fight of the night" reward.

It's not as fun to watch without Romero in person but it's entertaining enough.

And Adesanya made a good point.  He was saying that him being a kickboxer, everybody expected him to be taken down wrestle f** ked..  So he worked hard on that part of his game and closed that hole.

I haven't watched the fight yet because I am busy starting that day and a couple of days because my wife is in the hospital because she is giving birth to my second child, Well, just saying
Congrats mate.

Thanks, mate I am just barely keeping up in the forum because after 7 years I am a new dad again and keeping the pace in looking after the baby at night while posting is very complicated but very rewarding indeed.

And on with the Corey Anderson and Jan Blachowicz fight I am totally shocked finding the result just now, but I haven't watched the full replay of the fight just yet and maybe later, I thought that Corey Anderson would really lose because Jan Blachowicz even though he is not a pushover and can surely show some move and power I never thought that he would rise to the ring and claim the victory I think I will just look on the video and see for myself on how did Blachowic have done it.
The only doubt i had is with the age of Jan Blachowicz and his only knockout in the UFC was against Luke Rockhold who had a weak chin after Michael Bisping exposed his chin and Jan Blachowicz usually does not do well against fighters who put pressure but since this was a rematch Jan Blachowicz knew he would expose his chin and i am sure he drilled the knockout combination many times and Corey Anderson looked like he was slow, he threw a high kick that missed by a long mile and then he was not the same fighter, i am sure he strained something and so is the reason he was slow and got knocked out after that.

Well, after watching the fight Blachowicz, in my opinion, doesn't expect that right uppercut to score a definite knockout, I see Corey Anderson isn't his self in the ring but Blachowicz kept his composure up until the right time he can land a nice counter to the body and head Anderson just keeps on moving forward for him to eat Blachowicz right hook counter straight to the canvas and that is nicely done by Jan Blachowicz.

Then after the fight, he then calls on Jon Jones who is watching but I don't think Blanchowicz is good enough to challenge Jon Jones but Jones just welcomes Blachowicz to bring it on, but let's just see what may happen.

And by this, I think we need to move on to the next fight that will be on Feb 22, and that is between Paul Felder vs. Dan Hooker.

I am picking Corey Anderson to win via Decisions 2.50 but Jan Blachowicz is not easy to finish but this fight is a tough one for Blachowicz because Corey Anderson is likely to stop your momentum and rhythm with takedowns and strikes.
This is what i was expecting after watching their first fight but it was completely the opposite and Jan Błachowicz slept Corey Anderson with a perfectly timed left hook in the very first round and Jan Błachowicz immediately called out Jon Jones who is ring side and we might see Jon Jones defending his title against Jan Błachowicz.

^  Can I copy that and put it in the first page...?  Since you already made one.

You can do whatever you want buddy  Grin

Something tells me that this isn't going to end up well for Zubaira. Khabib could add more unnecessary pressure instead of inspiring him during the fight.

Funny that KEVIN AGUILAR is presented as a "shadow" on official UFC event page. First I thought he will be a punching bag for Zubaira or a fighter "just to fill the card", but when you told that Zubaira might not end up well I've decided to check him. The guy has a nice record of 17-2, participated in Ultimate Fighter finale. Plus he had participated in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series -Season 2, Episode 4 web-series program. Doubt that Dana would invite punching bag for his show. This guy is die hard  Cheesy

I'm 100% sure that on this event we will see Khabib in octagon, but this time as a part of Zubaira Tukhugovs team, as they are the best friends and training partners.

Neither do I. This are what fight nights are for, to make these lesser known fighters more popular and maybe future UFC cash cows Cheesy but kidding aside, there are only a few people who really follows up and coming fighters.

I'm not gonna make any prediction on this card other than what I already said about Zubara. I'm not gonna bet either.

Anyway the main event should be a good match up.  I don't know too much about Hooker except he trains with Adesanya...  But Felder is a beeeaast.

Edit:  Watch Felder's last bout vs Barboza!

This is what happens when you start thinking about fighting Jon Jones while your opponent is focused on beating you.
This! It's what I was imagining when I said he shouldn't take his eyes off his opponent. He completely underestimated Jan Blachowicz's this time and kept moving forward. He must be thinking of finishing his opponent quickly to make a statement while Jon Jones is in attendance. He ate that big right hand and went on to dream about fighting Jones.

^   And it's a valuable lesson to us who bet on these matches.  Listen to what they have to say before their bouts.  If they go off and talk about being the champ, yadda yadda yadda...  It's prolly a sign they aren't totally focused on their opponent.
It is true that Corey Anderson was too confident about fighting Jon Jones without taking into consideration the fighting capability of Jan Błachowicz because he already defeated him in the first fight and his post fight cage antics after defeating Johnny Walker was really cocking and when he fight started Corey Anderson was really slow and Jan Błachowicz took advantage of that and knocked him out clean.

This is the first time i saw two disqualification in a fight card Michel Pereira was winning the fight against Diego Sanchez but the illegal blow gave the win to Diego Sanchez ~
Luck is on Diego Sanchez I guess. That means he lives on to fight for another paycheck  Grin

Crazy fights with two disqualifications and Jan Błachowicz winnings by knockout in the first round which i did not expect.

We should all move on with the Jon Jones and Dominic Reyes issue for now and I'd say that decision outcome might have something under it but that is all in the past and we should be moving into another topic,

Corey Anderson vs Jan Błachowicz

Well, this matchup is not that interesting in my opinion but putting a bet will surely increase that interest of yours in analyzing the fighters, and I think that Jan Blachowicz doesn't level that much since their last fight and Corey Anderson is staying in the winning streak department but I think most matches are on the decision outcome because Corey Anderson likely holds a 62% winning rate all on Decisions so this match may end up the same as that.

I am picking Corey Anderson to win via Decisions 2.50 but Jan Blachowicz is not easy to finish but this fight is a tough one for Blachowicz because Corey Anderson is likely to stop your momentum and rhythm with takedowns and strikes.

The only 1 who was able to stop Jones was DC imo).
Why? Because of the drugs involved in their second fight? Even though Jones kind of cheated, I wouldn't consider that as a win for DC also.

I think DC was the only one who had real chances of beating Jones. Ok, except Reyes, dont know much about this guy. But if to compare DC and Reyes records, DC won more elite fighters than Reyes. Would be nice to see DC vs Reyes, to find out who is right, but to bad DC is aiming to make a third fight agains Miocic and that is going to be his last fight in career.
Oh really, how sad to know Sad but I hope he will change his decision and decide to fight Bones for the very last time. I also think he is the closest fighter to defeat Jon (aside from Reyes) because we all see how he able to land punches on him despite of height disadvantage. Hello! He able to knocked out a bigger man like Miocic so it's not impossible for him to do the same thing against him Grin. He only need a very accurate timing to enter against that "eye poking" stance and land a devastating shot lol.

Another one I'm rooting for is Gustaffsson. He is tall but I'm worrying that he is not the same as before. I still remember how Bones crushed him in their rematch and I think same thing will happen in their next face off (I find him slower now IMO).

I agree, Jones vs DC is not even close, and Jones did beat DC on his game, which is wrestling.

And as pointed out by @bbc.reporter, Alexander Gustafsson I. I think majority thought that Alexander really won that fight, however the rematch was very different, perhaps it took 5 years in the making.

Damn, Diego Sanchez still fighting in 2020?

There was also Jon versus the Mauler Alexander Gustafsson 1. Many fans and analysts have also said that they would accept a decision for Gustafsson if it was made. Part 2 was Jon's dominance shown, however. I reckon we would witness something similar for Jon versus Dominic Reyes 2 hehehee.
