It's definitely going to be a big money fight if that ever happens. Making Tony fight Justin Gaethje, as replacement for Khabib, isn't really appealing right now.

I choose to forget about their fight for the meantime because in my perspective uncertainties weigh greater. Due to this possible postponement (again ), it make me believe to Daniel Cormier — The Khabib vs Ferguson match is so cursed.

I still hope we can see this fight and UFC249

All of the sporting events are moved indefinitely globally but why does the UFC is adamant to conduct the fight is well beyond my senses, there were news coming out today that Russia allows private jets to the USA giving hope that the fight could take place but today is April fools day and hence not sure whether that is true but then later tonight Khabib confirmed that he is not participating in this fight card and asked everyone to sit back until the situation is under control.

Tricky situation, and maybe best thing is to postpone this UFC event for some better time.
Khabib and all others wanted to fight, but this is higher force that nobody could predict.

If the UFC wants to carry on with the fight card they can still do that with the fighters available in the USA, the situation is not going to be better in the coming months, i am seriously concerned about my health and i am afraid to step out as i have seen many deaths in the past month and the situation is getting worse in the USA as the number of patients is approaching the two hundred thousand figure and considering those situations not sure how they will carry on with the fight card even if the fighters and the UFC wanted to.

The UFC has their arena to conduct these fights but the government will not sanction the fight and if that is the case it will be another problem.

These are unfortunate situation no one anticipated and Dana White has given clear instructions to Khabib and his management that the fight will not take place in the USA and hence the likely place was UAE and he moved to UAE but the government said that they are planning to lock down everything and hence he moved to Russia and after that Russia too announced that they are completely locking down every travel and that is the situation and there is no way that the April fight will take place unless the situation magically sorts out which is highly unlikely.

Just give title back to Conor and he will figure out how to organise event  The event could take place on his Proper 12 distillery and everyone could use spirits for disinfection.

Have a feeling that Khabib vs Ferguson fight would never happen. This is just like Dana White tried to sign Fedor Emilianenko to UFC. No matter how he tried - he did not succeed.   

I've been hearing some talks Khabib is out but Gaethje is in.  Looks like the fifth time isn't the charm guys...  

And I guess 249 is for the interim LHW title?  It should given the circumstances imo.

Delayed again. At least it is delayed, but no cancelled. Btw, what the hell Khabib is doing in Russia, if his trainer said that the gym is closed for everyone except Khabib. And Khabib had pictures and story in this gym in instagram. He just flew away back home when situation with covid-19 became more dangerous?

He could have stayed in US for 2-3 weeks and do the fight. It was 1000% obvious that the borders would be closed soon and wont be able to return to US till April 19. Khabib again sneaked from fighting Tony?

There might not be flights happening right now but I'm sure both parties can get on a private jet to meet somewhere unless all flights are disallowed (but I'm sure they're not and the military will still be flying around). As much as I want to see this fight right now I don't think it will happen anytime soon. Would be awesome if they got the military to fly them out and had the fight on some warship somewhere  .

I'm sure Dana was doing all he can to get it done but it's probably out of his hands and in that of the government and sporting bodies and whether they will allow it. Can you imagine how huge this fight would be though since there's practically zero sports going on right now? The buzz around this fight if it went ahead would be huge and imagine how many people would tune in to watch it given how half the planet is seemingly on lock-down right now with nothing to do and a hunger for sport. All they need to do is test the fighters and their crew and they could have the fight in any suitable fighting gym anywhere in the world. No need for a massive arena. I really hope this fight goes ahead at some point. Even behind closed doors I think that will add a little excitement to the fight. You'll be able to hear every punch and breath of the fighters and Kabib is known to talk/taunt his opponents during the game.

I still cannot believe how the leaders of the nations did not care about the Coronavirus before. As if we never had experiences with viral and dangerously contagious diseases. I am disappointed in how this pandemic has been handled in the most developed countries.
We need the urgent Coronavirus cure, we are still in danger.

Just listened Khabib speaking on Twitter for RT.
He is locked down in Russia and he can't move anywhere out of country.
Looks like he will not fight in this event, except if some miracle change in next days...

Belarus, same as Sweden does not take serious actions in connection with covid-19 situation. According to them, this is just “people madness”, even though they have invected people, but don't officially announce that.

It won't matter whether there's gonna be a following in whatever country 249 is gonna be imo.  It's gonna happen behind closed doors.

Thiago Santos is calling for a title fight against Dominic Reyes but i doubt we will see that happen and the uncertainty about when everything returns to normal is a huge problem in that plan. Not heard anything about Jones after the arrest as the court date is next month and i am not expecting him to go to jail considering the current situation.

The chances are very slim that the event even takes place, the real problem is that Khabib is in Russia right now as per reports and they have completely stopped outside travel and with that situation he has to get VIP permission from the government to move out for the event and even with that in mind it is impossible to expect the fight in Sweden as the number of cases keeps on increasing and the only viable places are Saudi and UAE with the help of their government other than that there is no way that the fight happens in April and the reason is evident with the number of patients increasing on a daily basis and the number of death crossed 33600 globally.

If Khabib vs. Ferguson fight will happen on this date, can someone predict where will this fight happen?
Only few countries are ignoring covid, and one of them is Sweden and we know that they are big fans of MMA.
D.White said that they are thinking of possibility for moving to other country.
