^ ^  You can't take away anything from Edgar imo.  He took the bout on short notice when Brian Ortega pulled out.
It is true that Frankie Edgar took the fight in short notice and that too for the main event and he took that chance and did not went his way and the funny thing was his hair style as i have not seen him in a retro get up  Cheesy, we might see Frankie going down to 135 pound in his next fight. Now Korean Zombie is calling for a title shot but i think he should wait as Max Holloway might get his rematch next against Alexander Volkanovski.

LMAO the hair!  Yup!  That was my first reaction too.  Still, I think the bout could be more competitive if he had a full training camp.

But I think Edgar won't get any more title shots in any weight class he's going.  His best years are behind him.

Yes! that is what I want to see to happen but I want McGregor to have a fighting chance against Leon Edwards maybe he can pull out a stance knowing how Leon Edwards very well but in my opinion as well I want Leon Edwards to win this and make McGregor knows his place, I never was a fan of McGregor and I think that he really got his attitude that is why I want somebody to shut him up for good, Sorry for all Conor fans here but that is all my opinion Khabib Nurmagomedov all the way!
I will give an edge if the opponent is a striker to Conor McGregor as his worst enemy is a wrestling based fighter like Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson but if he is planning to take on Leon Edwards which is 170 pounds division i doubt whether Conor McGregor will be having the same knockout power as Nate Diaz was able to take his punches how about a fighter who is in the top ten in the division, i bet he will not knock them out.

And regarding Fight Night 165 between Frankie Edgar VS Chan Sung Jung, I think the Korean Zombie is a total badass and Edgar is out of his league against his opponent this time
It was a short notice fight and hence you cannot come to a conclusion just by this fight. I have not seen many Korean Zombie fights as he is not a PPV fighter.

I felt bad for Frankie Edgar. He is old and is nearing his 40s. And a late notice fight made it worse. Props to the Korean Zombie for doing his job well. I would love him to fight Valkanovski. Max can have a tune-up and then fights the winner.

Korean Zombie dominated this fight 100%
Easy win for him.

Right, it was a complete domination from the Korean Zorean, no disrespect to Frankie Edgar but I think he needs to contemplate about his next options (not just his hair).

Give the Korean Zombie the next title shot, I think he deserves it.

Well I am just saying that I want to see a McGregor and Edwards fight in the future if that would be possible to happen.
It will be a really huge fight, Leon Edwards is British and Conor McGregor is Irish and the fans will be crazy and we might even see the fans fighting each other in the lobby but the big problem is that Leon Edwards is a natural 170 pound fighter who does not cut much weight and Conor McGregor might walk around at that weight and if they fight it will not be an easy fight for Conor McGregor as Leon is a monster and his legit defeat was against Kamaru Usman in 2015 and after that he is on a winning streak.

Yes! that is what I want to see to happen but I want McGregor to have a fighting chance against Leon Edwards maybe he can pull out a stance knowing how Leon Edwards very well but in my opinion as well I want Leon Edwards to win this and make McGregor knows his place, I never was a fan of McGregor and I think that he really got his attitude that is why I want somebody to shut him up for good, Sorry for all Conor fans here but that is all my opinion Khabib Nurmagomedov all the way!

Korean Zombie dominated this fight 100%
Easy win for him.
Other co-main event Rakic vs Ouzdemir was much more equal but judges decided for Volkan win.
It could go either way
I am yet to watch the fight but Korean Zombie finishing Frankie Edgar like that  Shocked i did not expect that and i did not expect Volkan Oezdemir and Aleksandar Rakic going the distance and the Choi Doo-ho getting finished is another shocker as he had a huge hype when he came into the UFC and had some great fights.

'Korean Zombie' Chan Sung Jung wins on home soil, beats Frankie Edgar by TKO

Chan Sung Jung had not competed on South Korean soil in more than 11 years. He made a triumphant homecoming Saturday.

We have a fight night in South Korea and the surprise for me is Frankie Edgar taking the fight against Chan Sung Jung aka Korean Zombie in a short period and hence it is really difficult to understand how much Frankie is prepared for this fight without a full camp but i would always like to pick Frankie Edgar because of his experience and his talent inside the ring and even at  this age he is able to pose a challenge to any contender in the division and i am picking Edgar to win . My picks are, Edgar, Aleksandar Rakić, Mike Rodriguez, Liu Pingyuan

I wouldn't say clearly.  It was obv so close.  Did you watch the tape?  I gave KZ the slight edge but I wouldn't be surprised if I give it to Rodriguez the next time I watch it.  Grin
Yes i have watched the fight and i scored three bouts to the Korean Zombie and in the third round i think Yair Rodríguez edged him and in the final round too Korean Zombie was winning the fight and if it goes to a decision then i am sure Korean Zombie would have won the fight but that elbow changed everything and that too at the last second.

if Rakić is able to win then he will fast track his way to fight Jones.
It is a long road for Aleksandar Rakić to fight for the title, he just faced one top contender in his career and that is Jimi Manuwa and this will be a huge test as Volkan Oezdemir is not an easy fight for any striker in the division and the only competition he faces is against elite level wrestlers and i would like to see them fight as the main event rather than 3 rounds, since both are good strikers i am expecting someone to sleep Grin.

Tell me...  Who do you guys think was winning this bout before that weird elbow from Rodriguez.  It was pretty close (tho slight edge went to KZ imho).
Korean Zombie was clearly winning the fight and with one second left Yair Rodriguez produced an wonderful reverse elbow like no one ever saw in the history of fighting and even Korean Zombie never anticipated that shot coming and hence he was confident with his movements even during the final few seconds, i would rather run if i knew i was winning the fight rather than entertaining the crowd Cheesy .

I am going to support Rakic Aleksander in fight against Volkan Oezdemir.
Rakic is more complete and better fighter, and odds are solid now.
Aleksandar Rakić and Volkan Oezdemir are really powerful strikers and i am not expecting this fight going the distance, considering the odds and seeing Volkan Oezdemir as the underdog i am going with him as he is a really powerful striker who once fought for the title and if Rakić is able to win then he will fast track his way to fight Jones.

@eaLiTy - not watching Conor vs Floyd II.  Grin
If Conor McGregor can prove that he has improved on his cardio and with time Floyd Mayweather is aging too so that his reflex might not be the same like before and if everything aligns the same then i might watch the rematch other than that the rematch will be the same like the first fight, Conor advancing in the first few rounds but taking cover and trying hard to survive in the later part of the fight and ends up knocking out in the end when his hands does not move up to cover his chin  Cheesy. I consider both these fighters as characters and Floyd Mayweather made his money as a cocky spendthrift where everyone wanted to see him get knocked out and Conor McGregor had a nation behind him for majority of his career as he was an Irish super star with his fighting skills but right now he pissed off many of his hardcore followers and the casual fans knows what the result would be if they box again, Conor McGregor gassing out and that is the fact Cheesy. I spent money to purchase the first PPV and i am not going to do that again  Wink.

Hah, I still remember that we have a thread and everyone was shouting that the fight won't happen because Floyd's legacy will be affected. And guess what, he doesn't f**ing care, as long as he made big money, he will go for it, so yeah those two have a contracting character but they can sit down and negotiate when there's a big money in table. Grin. Maybe casual fans will buy because of the hype and the trash talking, but I'm sure majority are not into it anymore. I'll probably watch it in youtube,  Grin

If he need money, he could make a rematch against Floyd Mayweather Jr. That is the "place" where money are Cheesy
If Floyd Mayweather is planning to fight in the UFC you could see a record breaking PPV but when it is a boxing match i doubt you could even match the hype they had in the first fight even though Conor was a amateur in boxing because all the PPV buyers were intrigued by the hype and the trash talking and it is really difficult to do the same in a rematch.
If ever Floyd Mayweather Jr will step inside the octagon, what do you think he will do? Run around and wait for the bell to ring as a sign of the end of the round? If its rematch between Conor and him and this time its UFC rules, Conor will win and PPV will surely break all standing PPV records but I am not expecting Floyd to engage in a grappling match between any MMA fighter, worst I guess is that he will agree for an exhibition match with rules tweaked on his favor.

This gentleman below speaks right words. If Floyd is crazy for money and have balls to step in the octagon, then this fight will a new PPV record.
Age is a major factor in any sport and Floyd Mayweather is turning 43 years of age this February and does anyone really think that he will be planning to make a debut in a new sport where he has no experience when he is really old, i really do not think so, but the positive side is that Dana White is planning to focus his attention to the boxing world and we might see some cross promotion between Floyd Mayweather and Dana White other than that to think that he will be fighting is just imagination by the media and the fans alike because everybody likes to see Floyd getting defeated and so is the hype  Cheesy.
