I have nothing against Conor, he is talented but after his lost to Diaz and Khabib, he was exposed and fighters can clearly see a blueprint of how to beat him, but still Dana is selling Conor and his fights unlike other better fighters with potential.
The reason i was skeptical about Conor McGregor when he first came to the UFC was that he will face legit wrestlers and his rise will get cut short but he was able to overcome a short replacement Chad Mendes which was his only legit wrestler till he faced Khabib and the blue print was always there as his prior losses before coming to the UFC were on the ground and all of his losses were submission losses.
So the blue print is always there and it all depends upon how the opponent is planning to take advantage of it.

Or maybe its the UFC who asked them to create such story so that it will add up to the hype of this fight. I have nothing against Conor, he is talented but after his lost to Diaz and Khabib, he was exposed and fighters can clearly see a blueprint of how to beat him, but still Dana is selling Conor and his fights unlike other better fighters with potential.
The event is sold out completely in record time and now they will be eyeing for a record holding PPV buys and for that to happen they need to hype the fight and i am expecting them to hold some entertaining press conference before the fight so that the event gets the hype they are looking for and there is no doubt that Conor McGregor will steal the pre shows like he used to do always.

Well it's always like that in the ufc. There was a time when guys like lyoto machida, anderson silva,  and ronda rousey seem to have the perfect technique until they get beat and exposed. Same with connor. Though the guy will always be a draw. Aside from talent, people love and hate his attitude. And that's what brings money to dana white. People clamor for colorful fighters with spunk.

Donald Cerrone denies feud with Conor McGregor, blames media for ‘digging for s**t’

“That’s just you media boys digging and shoveling for sh*t to bring up,” Cerrone told MMA Fighting. “That’s all that was. Conor hasn’t said anything bad about me so you’ve got to go get old sh*t out.”

https://www.bjpenn.com/mma-news/ufc/donald-cerrone-denies-feud-with-conor-mcgregor-blames-media-for-digging-for-st/

That's the media's way of over-exaggerating things to have some views in their website without it they won't earn anything and the bad thing about this is what lies they are spreading will become true when things will heat up on each one of them. However we all know that Connor McGregor is a loud-mouthed guy and he tends to mock his opponent and in the UFC things can heat up really fast especially when guys like Connor McGregor starts to talk trash so with or without the media's help McGregor is doing good on his own.

both of them can box, connor however seem to be accurate even in his counter punch. so we'll see. i might just bet for the cowboy to take chances for the big win.  this will be a standing fight which is good to watch than on the ground. kabib was just too good in wrestling that connor can't escape, the exasperation just too much to bear for him that kabib sees his weakness.
just put on a cowboy or an Irishman is pointless. but most likely the battle will go into the second half of the second round. I found a coefficient of 1.83 and a coefficient of 7.5 to win Serone submission. You can do even safer and put on the event "Round 2 will begin - yes" for 1.55. e.g. 1000x1.55 and 250 * 7.5

A cowboy will strangle a lepricon. He won 17 out of 36 fights by submission, and Conor is very bad on the ground
You cannot underestimate Conor just like that with a defeat against Khabib as no one expected him to win if he is not able to stuff the take down but the rest of the opponents were not able to take him down or wisely he avoided most of the wrestling based fighters and he had a dream run until he came against Nate Diaz and even in that fight Nate did not take him down, Conor tried to take him down because he was exhausted and in the next fight he made sure the fight did not goes to the ground and after a long gap he was fighting Khabib and Cerrone is not known to take down fighters down either unless they takes the initiative and i am sure Conor will be aware of the ground threat when he fights.

There is no doubt about the skills set of Donald Cerrone and his striking and ground game but he rarely uses that inside the cage and if he makes the mistake to strike with a elite striker like Conor McGregor he might get knocked out and it is not that easy to take McGregor down and even if that happens he will get out just like that and he got stuck only by Khabib and that is a different type of ground fighter altogether.

I always doubted Conor McGregor and he always proved me wrong and i always picked against him and even when he lost the first fight against Nate Diaz that was the fight i picked him to win as the first two rounds he was thoroughly winning the fight and placed a bet on seeing that and i lost my bet and coming into this fight he is really prepared and he choose the division for this fight and i am expecting him to win but it will be a tough task to face Donal Cerrone and if he is not successful he can always move down to Featherweight division but he has bulked up a lot and i find it impossible for him to cut that much weight and his apt weight to fight would be Lightweight.
It will be humiliating for Conor if he will loose to Cerrone. With all the hype and how Dana White is supporting him and yet he will loose to Cerrone, he should think of his future after this fight. Conor is talented but he should be serious in preparing for his fights and not just partying and endorsing products left and right.

If you have a fighter who could help you make a lot of money than the rest of the fighters then he will be having the priority and that is what he is getting here, everyone can promote him but Conor McGregor has to deliver when he fights and he has proved that in the past and all the fans are waiting to see how he will be preparing for his return and what his future will be, i am expecting this to be his last few fights and one more loss and he might retire as he made a lot of money and businesses so that he can carry on his spending life style even if he does not fight ever again.

If he is not able to dominate then he should go down in weight and fight in 145 pounds where he shined the most throughout his career and that made him the fighter he is now and i am sure he can beat many fighters in the 155 pound division as well but when it comes to fighters like Tony Ferguson and Khabib he might struggle but i am sure he will have an upper hand with the rest of the fighters.

^  Still too close tho.  And remember how convincing Diaz's win was in their first bout.  I hope McGregor doesn't win exactly like how he won in his second fight vs Diaz.  That would suck for him imo.

Here's a tape of Cerrone showing what he can do with that right leg.  Very dangerous once McGregor starts gassing out...
Donald Cerrone does have lethal leg kicks and if Conor McGregor gasses out then there is no way he will go the distance, i am not expecting Conor to improve his cardio and change his fighting style and i am expecting a well prepared McGregor who will start aggressively from the start and if he is able to connect with Cerrone then he can very well knock him out.

Really looking forward to seeing Conor return to The Octagon after a long absence. I have no idea what to expect from him as he’s been away for so long.

If McGregor can't find a way to deal with his problem this fight might turn like another Diaz fight, but actually Conor Mcgregor on the first round was surely superb with his techniques, accuracy, and fighting very smart and carefully analyzing his opponent very well, but if he can only keep that up in the latter of the fight I think there will be no question regarding his ability as a fighter.
