^  Yup cos you never really know with Diaz.  He was obv still in the match and not backing down.  Masvidal didn't look like he was gonna get tired or anything but he was looking a wee bit concerned.

Could've been a Diaz submission on the fifth...  Who knows...

With how the match ended, a rematch would make sense for Dana. They should do it in Vegas where doctors would allow Nate to fight even if he looks busted up.

The fact that Nate was still standing after the 3-round beating could have affected Masvidal's thinking also going to the 4th and 5th rounds had the match continued. Who knows what could have happened but we know Nate will still be swinging like it's the first round because of his gas tank.

And it looked like Masvidal was looking a bit concerned at the third round imo.  He already gave Diaz everything and Diaz is still there like a zombie.  Lol.
~
Exactly. I'm pretty sure he still expected a tough Nate to come out but his camp did plan to finish the fight as Masvidal kept mentioning that he doesn't want to leave it to the judges.

Many fight fans thinks they were robbed of two more rounds from that doctor stoppage  Grin

Masvidal won! Diaz was tough as hell (as expected) but doctor says it's enough punishment after 3 brutal rounds. If it was another fighter, that would have been a KO. The more superior striker won.

Blood don't hurt and he also has a knee injury about three weeks ago. That's the reason Nate Diaz said during postfight interview and he wants a rematch. I think it's a good way to see him fight in good condition and prove that he still has the fight in him.

Anyway that sucked.  But congrats to Masvidal.

Pretty sure many are not happy with the result of the UFC 244 and here are screenshots of some negative reactions of fellow UFC fighters and I am pretty frustrated as well, even though I am frustrated with the result Masvidal did a good job-fighting Diaz and giving him a punch that had cut Diaz, and because of this Doctors had to stop the fight that made Masvidal winner by TKO, but I guess both parties are looking for a rematch, And even though the conclusion of the fight is like this I guess it is OK I think the safety of both fighters is pretty much more important here.

Many got upset in social media regarding how the fight ended. Anyways, like I said earlier, we should consider the perspective of the doctor on why he stopped the fight. Of course the doctor would not stop the fight if the cut is not deep enough. As what I have seen on the post fight, Diaz's cut is severely deep that his right eye is closed and that's the reason why the physician stop the fight to not aggravate the cut.

Both fighters will get Vegas rematch for sure... but it needs time for Diaz to heal.
It can happen in 2020 for sure.
Dana White is not interested to have a rematch right now and if Nate would have won we would have seen the trilogy between Conor and Nate Diaz
Even me also no longer interested for a rematch after we knew the result. There's no more need to sertle in my opinion, Their match was concluded through a stoppage but that's okay. Masvidal cleanly and fairly made his cut anyway Roll Eyes. I'm now looking forward on the next championship match between Covington and Usman.

Dana White is not interested to have a rematch right now and if Nate would have won we would have seen the trilogy between Conor and Nate Diaz and now that plan is derailed and he wanted Masvidal to face someone else or he will have the opportunity to challenge the champion and we will have some clarity after December 14, 2019 after UFC 245 and if Kamaru Usman or Colby Covington gets injured there is a possibility that Masvidal could step in and take the challenge.

You have to consider where the event was held also. Some claim that if it were held in Vegas, doctors would have let Nate fight.

I guess that is correct.

Kind a stupid way to end the fight Jorge Masvidal vs Nate Diaz.
Masvidal was better, but doctors stop the fight in 3rd round.
Cut on Nate Diaz was not that bad to stop this fight!

It's doctors dude, they should secure the fighter's health before anything else. Of course as what we have seen, it's almost like it's not too bad to stop the fight but for the professionals they have seen worse for him. They are more knowledgeable in their profession and let's just respect what they have come up to.

1st round technical knockout by Corey Anderson. Johnny Walker overhyped by Dana similar to a ICO pumper pumping his token to dump on its fans hehehe.
I was expecting Corey Anderson to win the fight but i never expecting a knock out and all the hype trains challenging Jon Jones are not even reaching that level and getting defeated quite easily, if you look back all the fighters that challenged Jones lost already now  Cheesy.
Andrei Arlovski slept once again but the most disappointing loss for me is Kelvin Gastelum as i was expecting Gastelum to win the fight against Till.
Kevin Lee was another surprise as i did not expect a first round knockout and he is the super star of the show.

Jorge surprized everyone. I thought Nate would finish him, but that wont be an easy fight. Not Masvidal turned to be a “die hard” Smiley

And as expected, Arlovsky and his crystal chin was KO in a first round with a punch. It took only 29sec to put him to sleep... At this age Andrei should trully consider to retire.

This are my predictions for upcomming UFC matches

Jorge Masvidal vs Nate Diaz
Kelvin Gastelum vs Darren Till
Derrick Lewis vs Blagoy Ivanov
Kevin Lee vs Gregor Gillespie
Corey Anderson vs Johnny Walker

Looks like they are all very interesting matches, and risky for betting.
I think Derrick Lewis and Kevin Gastelum should win more easy than others.

What do you mean by 'it's gonna drag'?  'Gonna be a drag'?  Like it's gonna be boring?  Nope.  It's gonna be a real fight (I hope).

But drag, as in 'goes the distance' then maybe.  Over 4.5 rounds is at 1.75ish.
"goes the distance"

"boring" never crossed my mind. I mean, we can't associate that word with these two strikers.
