I agree that Askren would win, but if not the age, Maia would have won. In the beginning of his career, he was quite a talented and strong fighter.
Yup! at first I see Maia as a better fighter here if not for their age I will not have doubt with Demian Maia's Strengh if not for their age, I guess Ben Askren will won if not with submission it can be with a decision as well.

It is true that Khabib is a clean athlete as he never drinks or parties as he is following his religion to the dot and many athlete like to party because it is a hard sport and to make a living by hitting someone is difficult for me to comprehend and you will have a few drinks because after the fight the pain will be like hell and i respect Khabib in that aspect, Conor is doing what he likes best to party around making babies and punching old people and selling whiskey as he is not having any plans to fight longer .

Khabib is dominating everyone but if McGregor could land a lucky punch flush in the face like Michael Johnson it will test his chin without a doubt
The feet of Conor was like a balloon as per the words of the Irish king if not he would have landed that left hand

Conor McGregor will be in Moscow, Russia for a press conference this week. The Irishman recently posted on social media that he obtained a Russian visa for this very reason.

This fight shows whether Askren is able to compete with the elite fighters in the UFC and if he fails this time he might be thinking about retiring.
It will be a big test for Askren as he is coming back after his first loss in his career and that too was a brutal one and many of the fighters will be cautious when returning back but luckily for Ben he is not fighting a striker and this fight will show the ground capabilities of both fighters and it is not that easy to defeat Demian Maia. I have not seen Ben fighting any elite fighters, this is a good test for his career.Jump to:
