I don't think that there will be hype of Floyd Mayweather rematch, they have made tons of money out of it and I they can't fool us twice.

He should go back to UFC and fight anyone including Masvidal or Edwards and then chase money fights. Sort of building his records first and maybe fight fans might be interested on a Khabib fight in Russia.

I'm not sure about that, for me Edgar is already way past his prime. UFC fighters did level up, competitions are very different when he was campaigning before so I wouldn't be surprised if he lost to Jung and his losing streak continues. He doesn't had to clear his name and reputation though, no had done enough throughout his career.

Floyd Mayweather Jr is a really smart person and if you look back Floyd knew he had the best opportunity to fight Conor McGregor and make a ton of money because of his persona and Conor too knew about it and so is the reason he started poking about a possible fight in social medias and during interviews and the fans got excited because during that period everyone felt like Conor McGregor was invincible and could defeat even the greatest defensive boxer of all time and so was the reason there was a huge hype and we know what happened, Conor Gassed out and got knocked out eventually by Floyd Mayweather, you have to remember Floyd usually never knocks out any boxer and now who will be spending money to watch that rematch in a PPV Tongue

Floyd would gladly beat him for good. But this is purely money making scheme which people might not anymore be willing to watch on PPV. I personally just want to watch them wrestle in the mud because this puts them both in a disadvantage. I'd like to see them trash talk knowing they'd fight on the mud.

This event was originally Brian Ortega vs KZ... Anyway the line for KZ could be value imho. I don't see Edgar as that much of a favorite.

The possibility is surely there Masvidal can be a very highly recommended for Usman but Leon Edwards is also a shot for Kamaru Usman to take, Well if the defeated by Mavidal part happen and I am guessing that Jorge Masvidal can be a hard fight for Usman right now well maybe Conor Mcgregor can have a shot of his own, but that is unlikely to be if they will not settle a good talk about this so lets all wait and see what might await Kamaru Usman next opponent.

I have seen the fight late but I have noticed that Usman just won because of my bet, well Covington just broke a jaw while exchanging punches with Usman and this opportunity for Kamaru Usman to slow down Colby Colvinton in getting him much damage then finished it with a knockout I really think that Usman is fighting really smart here and every time he fights he gains and exceeds his potential,

Maybe Masvidal is a great fighter next inline in facing Usman next but we will see in the following decisions of both sides.

Colby lost via TKO almost in the ends of the fight. I think he simply run out of stamina, ate 1 punch and it was all over.

I was expecting a competitive fight and it was indeed a competitive fight and Colby Covington broke his jaw because of his sloppy work in the second round and it is really hard to get punched in the face after getting your jaw dislocated and i was really impressed he went till the last round until Kamaru Usman brought the fire in the last round if not the judges would have screwed the fight like they did with Jose Aldo.

If ther will be a rematch in the near future, for sure Colby will not be as cocky as before due to his loss. I also expect lot of excuses coming from him and will deny his loss. Hahaha, guess who got the last laugh Grin

Anyway, why I saw some comments from FB groups showing their negative sentiments aboutvthe match. Some said that "Colby get robbed", "There's no really a low blow and eye poke happened blah blah", why is that? I mean, I can't see the logic of faking it since the all corners of the octagon are equipped with HD cameras. Regarding about the low blow, to be honest it was not directly hit to his crotch but let's give Usman the benefit of the doubt, we are not the one being kicked Cheesy

. On the hand, I saw on the replay that it was a real eye poke, though Colby's fingertip didn't directly poke the eyes of Usman but it's very clear that a part of his finger touched.

I just watched it in Youtube and definitely it was a war.

Both of them really trade a lot and no surprise that Covington got a broken jaw here. But I'm not seeing a rematch, at least they should go and look for other fights first. If there is another hype since Coby is a trash talker then probably in the future we might, but an immediate rematch is highly unlikely.

It was definitely a good fight with neither fighter attempting a takedown. Usman was just the heavier puncher and definitely have a tougher jaw Grin

He's been eating some good punches from Coby too.

I'm not sure about an immediate rematch though. I would prefer seeing them fight others and build up that rematch up.

Right, that's a good fight and a rematch would definitely sell a lot of tickets. If a rematch will happen soon, then I would place my bet to Usman this time. Covington has played well but Usman showed us that power he has and that is the reason why I will bet on this guy.
