Chess match I think is a perfect description of what's about to happen. Some casual fans, who were used to seeing brawl & KO's, will still find it boring though.

Distracted that's what I see in him after he became famous and offered a lot of endorsements. Take a look at Khabib, with his good record in MMA his training is still consistent and you will seldom see posts or articles about him partying, compared to Conor, most of the articles or photos you see about him is how he party nowadays and his endorsements. Not sure if he is secretly training to maintain his shape at the very least.

I want to see the rematch in Russia as Conor called out Khabib in Russia because i am wondering what the odds will be this time, last time the odds were pretty decent but after getting mauled by the bear it is highly unlikely we will get a competitive odds but it will be another highest grossing event for UFC, in my opinion Conor has to face Nate Diaz in 155 pound division and that will be another huge pay day for Conor.

This two are great with their submissions Both Demian Maia And Ben Askren, In my opinion, both really knows what are they doing, and the recent defeat of Askren from Jorge Masvidal really shook him with the flying knee, I guess this is just a miscalculation on Ben Askren's part, I think he's got good records until Masvidal put a red mark on it But If we look both men Ben Askren can sure wrestle against Demian Maia, I guess Askren's strength can sure be seen here, but let's just see what happened between both fighters that had the same caliber of technique.

I think I will bet on Askren for this one.

Many MMA purist will still love this even if there's no knockout. It's always nice to see people battle for position on the ground looking to submit their opponent. For me, that's better than the usual ground and pound.

It will be a high level grappling contest and i am waiting for this match, Ben Askren is a high level wrestler and Demian Maia is a high level 4th degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and ADCC World Championship, only age is the disadvantage for Demian Maia it will be a really good contest for true fans.
Ben Askren is the litecoin guy as he is pro crypto for a very long time and an investor in the market and he usually discuss about it in his podcast.

Conor McGregor will be in Moscow, Russia for a press conference this week. The Irishman recently posted on social media that he obtained a Russian visa for this very reason.

It will be a big test for Askren as he is coming back after his first loss in his career and that too was a brutal one and many of the fighters will be cautious when returning back but luckily for Ben he is not fighting a striker and this fight will show the ground capabilities of both fighters and it is not that easy to defeat Demian Maia. I have not seen Ben fighting any elite fighters, this is a good test for his career.

Even if Jon Jones have a bad day he will find a way to win, Jones never took Thiago Silva down and may be because of his ego to fight a striker without taking him down and that shows his confidence but the judges gave the fight a split decision and the injuries Thiago Silva sustained during the fight makes them close.

I dont think he will want to return and make a defense versus someone who he has already beat but instead he will welcome new challengers

Of course doesn't make sense for him to make a comeback fight to a fighter he already defeated, he already clean up the division.

However, Reyes is slowly rising in the ranks and this could pose a challenge for Jones to return in the right and prove that he is still the man to beat in the LHW division.

I only watched the final bout, Chris Weidman started strong trying to take Dominick Reyes down and on another attempt he just cracked a perfectly timed left hook in the chin and instantly the legs of Weidman gave out and two more hammer fist to finish it up and Dominick Reyes called out Jon Jones, looks like there are some worthy contenders now in the light heavyweight to challenge Jones.

And to think Weidman was talking about shocking the world again if given a shot vs Jon Jones before the fight... Lol. Nope, he's done.

WOW thank you for the results, I wasn't aware Chris Weidman was put KO in 103 seconds. That's a little bit humiliating for him, I hope he will be able to overcome this at the psychological level... Undecided

If not Dominick Reyes who will be the rightful challenger for Jon Jones in the division, either he has to move up to heavyweight division or another rematch with Thiago Santos, if he moves to the heavyweight division then there are many fancy match ups and with Anthony Johnson making a come back i hope we will see a match up with him too but with the huge size Anthony Johnson is in he will be fighting in the heavyweight division.
