@pereira4 A rematch isn't happening unless Connor pulls out some stupid shit as the bus incident again, iyam that won't end well for him this time Tongue Khabib won't be taking a re-match until Connor proves himself to be worthy, which I don't see happening as he has got all the money in the world now. Tongue I do agree with @SaShiRaJaVu Connor vs Dustin makes perfect sense and to see Connor "Back the fucking talk".

You may argue about the fight being 'good' for business but remember khabib ain't about money, He is all about his 'Legacy'. The way dude is disciplined I doubt any amount of money will be able to convince him. Tongue

It was amazing, right Shocked? Aside from that, I've read a post saying that he is also a fighter which did 10 knockdowns in all of his 7 fights. I only saw it on FB a while ago, free to correct me if I'm wrong Grin.
Israel Adesanya is a striking specialist and he has more than 29 knock out in Kickboxing in 80 fights and he has done some boxing matches too and that too professionally before entering the UFC, Daniel Cormier asked the help of Israel Adesanya to prepare for his fight against Jon Jones back in the day even before he was famous in the MMA circles and he rejected that because Luke Rockhold was the champion during that time.
In MMA he has 14 knockouts in 18 fights and it is not a big surprise as he is an elite striker and i expect a challenge from a wrestler, i would like to watch him fight Yoel Romero and Ronaldo Souza in the future.

That's just Adesanya setting it up for a future bout.  I doubt he'll fight Jon Jones now.  He's too skinny...  He needs at least a year to fill up for LHW imo.

Watched him in latest Ariel Helwani MMA show , where he said that Jon Jones should be ready for him in 2021,
but Jon Jones also wants to go one category higher. Anything can happen

Israel Adesanya is the face of UFC in a short time, he started fighting in UFC in 2018 and within two years he became the champion is an incredible feat.

Looks like next stop for Israel Adesanya is Paulo Costa, a Brazilian with a record of 13-0-0
Most probably he would be his next opponent if Dana agree on it (especially that Adesanya personally call Costa after his fight against Whittaker). I'm exciting for this because they're both undefeated but only one clean record will remain.

Looks like next stop for Israel Adesanya is Paulo Costa, a Brazilian with a record of 13-0-0, he defeated Yoel Romero in UFC 241, Uriah Hall in UFC 226 and Johny Hendricks in UFC 217. After beating Wittaker in UFC 243, You can see Israel Adesanya giving the DX Generation "suck it" move and Paulo Costa pointing his fingers back to Israel Adesanya. Plan is have a PPV match between this two at March 2020. Lets see if this will happen.

Looking forward to my girl MACKENZIE DERN fighting AMANDA RIBAS at UFC FIGHT NIGHT 161
I am looking forward to see her fight but she is coming after a long gap after giving birth to her child, so it is really difficult to predict how she will come back being a mom and perform the same way she used to do in the past.

Since you made me wonder as well, I did a little research. Israel Adesanya got 6 awards on his 7 fights: four Performance of the Night and 2 Fight of the Night. He got those Performance of the Night against Brunson, Tavarez, Wilkinson and Whittaker (currently) while he get the latter two when he fought Gastelum and Silva. The only match where he don't get an award is his match against Marvin Vettori Smiley.

When i  see these kind of meteoric rise i feel sad for Tony Ferguson who is performing at the top level for a very very long time and still he was not able to fight for the belt.

It will be the biggest fight EVER on the UFC, surpassing the first match. All the naysayers saying "we don't want to see Conor beat up again by Khabib, it's already done" will be buying and watching, or perhaps only watching... but still watching at the end of the day.
There is no doubt that Khabib rematching against Conor will be another highest grossing PPV and that is the reason Dana White is also really interested in this match up.

Odds will obviously be for a Khabib stoppage, the money will be in betting for a Conor win. My strategy is to put money on Conor by UD, there is no other way I see Conor winning, maybe SD if super close. I don't see him stopping Khabib, however, and believe it or not, I see Conor being able to stay away from the fence for some sounds and force Khabib to be on the feet.
There is no way Conor will have the stamina to last five rounds with Khabib, the only situation i see is a flash knock out and if it goes the second round then there is no way Conor is going to beat Khabib.

He is going to need to improve his cardio a lot, his stamina has to be ready for the last 2 rounds. I think people are underrating Conor's grappling, he did actually pretty good on fight 1, the nightmare comes when he is pushed against the fence, he has to avoid that.
Conor has a great take down defense against average wrestlers but Khabib is on another level when it comes to grappling, it is not that easy to improve the cardio just like that, if that was that easy he would have done that already before fighting in the UFC  Cheesy.

But first, we need to see how it goes for Tony, but the good news for Conor fans is that it doesn't matter the outcome, the rematch is happening 100% assuming Conor doesn't fight before the rematch and losses.. perhaps that would kill the buzz, so if he fights he MUST win.
Tony is the fight we need to see against Khabib and in the mean time Conor has to fight someone else, Dustin Poirier will be the perfect opponent for Cornor as both lost against Khabib and they faced each other at 145 pounds.

^^ Right. Let Khabib finished Tony first and let's see how Dana will set up this fight.

I'm sure Dana in a hear beat will organised everything and set up a rematch. After all it will bring more money in UFC specially if it will be held in a hostile environment such as Russia. I don't know how will Conor will market this fight, I mean will he go that route attack, (attacking Khabib's wife and religion etc.)

Jones is owning Adesanya even on social media. I know Israel is still young but he's too sensitive with these war of words against Jon.

I'm pretty sure Dana is loving  what's happening between the two. It's good money if they can make it work.

I remember Jones saying he was inspired by McGregor before and that's probably why he's taunting. He wants to get paid big time too.

$50,000 Performance of the Night Bonus goes to Israel Adesanya, Yorgan De Castro and Fight of the Night award went to Brad Riddell and Jamie Mullarkey. This is the 6th Fight of the Night award for Israel Adesanya out of the seven UFC event appearance that he made. Now I am wondering what was that event that his fight was not appreciated by UFC.

I speculate that Conor will be less on Dana's priorities now that he has found his new pet in Israel Adesanya hehehe.
Dana White is a good businessman and he knows how to make money and which fighters to promote at the right time, with Conor McGregor he was able to get fans from Ireland and England and with Israel Adesanya he is able to capture the Australian and New Zealand fans along with the African fan base, Conor did loose a lot of fans because of his outside antics by fighting old people in bar and he is not having any easy fights to return back to MMA too.

I speculate that Conor will be less on Dana's priorities now that he has found his new pet in Israel Adesanya hehehe.
Most probably because Adesanya is the current man of the hour. I will not be surprised it becomes avreality because Adesanya and McGregor got the same attitude — they're both cocky. Those kind of fighters had great showmanship which attracts more viewers due to the hype. More viewers means more ticket sales and more pay per view, more viewers means more sponsors too because huge crowd are very effective for advertising. So the result is kaching kaching! $$$.

However, of course as an owner you would choose to focus more on who recently gives you tons of money so goodbye McGregor for the meantime and hello Adesanya Grin.

^ Relax guys. I don't see the Jones-Adesanya fight happening either.
Indeed. Let them be the king of their own divisions Grin. Besides, it was a mismatch right at the very beginning since they got different weight class. If we insisted one should adjust (whether Jones will go down or Adesanya will go up) then we only might see a fast and boring match.
I have nothing against Costa but trashtalking doesn't work with some fighters. It doesn't help them at all.
We're the opposite. I rellly enjoy such kind of drama because this is where the story of every rivalry starts. Bring it on! I want to see Ricky Martin fight against him lol.

The fight is probably going to end up in a knockout and we will see them swinging from the get go. I hope this fight lives up to expectations.
It really ended in a knockout as Adesanya knocked out Whittaker in Round 2. Flawless movement of the head and the reach advantage of Adesanya really helped him get the victory. To be honest, I like how Israel move when Whittaker goes on offense. So many head kick misses too and that huge counter punch that knocks him out Cheesy.
The alias "bender" was perfectly showcased in this fight. He was rolling through the punches & kicks and that must have been so frustrating for  Whittaker. Punching and kicking air probably made him commit more which is a huge mistake against skillful strikers with longer reach.
