Not sure about Yair fight... and need to do more research and think about it
If you watch the fights of Yair Rodríguez and his losses he lost both times to strikers once against Frankie Edgar and the another was well back in his career and his fight against Chan Sung Jung he was loosing the fight till the last second of the fight and that crazy elbow earned him the victory, Jeremy Stephens hits really hard and he lost against top level fighters but his fight against Doo Ho Choi impressed me a lot and i am going with Jeremy to win the fight.

Yes, it's the highlight of his career because it was Anderson Silva whom he defeated. It wasn't exactly downhill after that since he defended the title a few times. It was his defeat to Luke Rockhold that started his downfall. It was probably hard for him to recover from his first loss in MMA.
Chris Weidman was a good fighter and when he came to face Anderson for the first time everyone thought  Weidam will be another victim for Anderson but he was show boating a loan and got knocked out cold and on the rematch Silva was injured, then Weidman faced an aging Lyoto Machida and Vitor Belfort and then he faced Luke Rockhold and then went on a 3 fight loosing stream and my guess is that Weidam will use his wrestling skills to control the fight and if he is able to do that he will win, other than that it is impossible .

I haven't watched any of Dominick's fight but I'll probably go with him, Weidman sucks nowadays.
Rodriguez and Stephens rematch deserves more attention, it could be the fight of the night. I didn't expect it this soon but I'm glad it's about to happen.
Dominick Reyes is an upcoming talent and the way in which he won against OSP and Volkan Oezdemir was impressive and Weidman is coming up in weight and it will be a challenge for him and even before fighting he is challenging Jon Jones, the same happened with Luke Rockhold who was challenging Jon Jones even before fighting and was out cold in the second round, i am not expecting a different result here.

Here's a funny one.  It's the highlight of Weidman's career (it's been downhill after) and the beginning of Anderson Silva's downfall (cos hubris and he never recovered).  Watch for the lulz if you haven't yet.  Cheesy

It feels like Yair Rodriguez is gonna get it from Stephens.  Lolol.  Stephens ITD could be around 3.00ish...?  If only there was a BTC sports betting site that has prop bets.  Those are fun.

I didn't know there was already a negotiation way back 2013 between Askren and the UFC management before he joined One FC.
There is a big history between Ben Askren and Dana White and why Askren was delayed to get into the UFC and retired from MMA thinking his dream is done because of his fight with Dana and he controls everything. The loud mouth of Ben Askren is nothing new and there was a time when Dana White said it was impossible to implement Olympic type drug testing for UFC and Ben Askren called out Dana White and said he is a liar and that started their bad blood and during that time he was the Bellator champion and he was trying to get into UFC and he was asked to provide the release documents from Bellator to consider and Ben Askren forced Bellator to give his release while he was the champion thinking about joining UFC and after getting the release from Bellator UFC said they are not interested in Ben and hence he move to Asia to fight in One FC and after that too Ben was critical about Dana White and they had many fights in social media in the past.

Talking about One FC not being the UFC, I was pretty sure I read some article that someone from the UFC commending One FC but during my search, I stmble upon this old article https://www.mmafighting.com/2013/12/9/5193678/ben-askren-announces-signing-with-one-fc-blames-immature-dana-white I didn't know there was already a negotiation way back 2013 between Askren and the UFC management before he joined One FC.

I guess even though Dominick Reyes didn't face many strong wrestlers Reyes is a good athlete in my opinion and Weidman will have a hard time winning the wrestling department and the striking department in my opinion, and Weidman really sucks nowadays and I really think that Reyes is a wrong opponent for Weidman being less durable and this weakness might expose him.

Wow! Askren is pretty pissed with Dana White right now but I guess Ben Askren will have a fight Oct, 26 Saturday that will be on the Fight Night 162 with Demian Maia as his opponent.

Sage Northcutt was knocked unconscious and he had to undergo facial reconstruction surgery after that fight Shocked
You made me remember the tragic ending of Sage's debut in ONE FC again Sad. He is actually one of my favorite rising stars of UFC back then because he prove to us that age doesn't matter in MMA sports but then he just loss in ONE. Take note, through a total knockout and that was very upsetting.

Well, there are really several good ONE fighters in fairness (like Ev Ting) but still body build matters so for me UFC > ONE. I can't explain thoroughly but we all know that Americans tend to be more physique than Asians thus more superior, I hope you know what I mean Grin.

*cough* Pride *cough*

I can't just erase from my memory all the freak and brutal matches during Pride

Ben Askren was talking so much before his first fights...
but recently after losing that fight I hear no sign of him Smiley
UFC is not he same as ONE championship bro

You can't really shut that big mouth of Ben Askren, you might consider him a troll because of that mouth of his. Obviously it's a different league, however, there's a lot of ONE FC championship that are tough as a nails, just saying.

They have tough fighters too, they are not getting that exposure here but they might be big fighters in Asia. Eddie Alvarez lost his first fight in One FC, Sage Northcutt was knocked unconscious and he had to undergo facial reconstruction surgery after that fight Shocked and Demetrious Johnson who was smoking everyone in the UFC is facing tougher opponents in One FC as he went to decision twice.

They say that the fighters in One FC are quite different from UFC. Just look at Vera who is not doing quite well during his days in UFC, but in One FC, he is a champ but not until someone defeated him in the last One FC event.

Indeed, the difference between the two are not too obvious but you can still realize that UFC got higher quality tho (maybe the only advantage of ONE is that it has also kickboxing events and not only pure MMA). Aside from Vera and Askren, another proof is when Mighty Mouse shifted to ONE and become also a champion in no time after defeating his opponent last Oct. 13 Grin.

You cannot shut Ben Askren as he is not acting in front of the camera like the other faker in the sport like Kevin Lee or Colby Covington and if you are active in social media you know the funny trolls of Ben Askren coming on a daily basis and he does have a podcast and he is an avid supporter of the crypto community and a wise investor. UFC is not the same as One FC but Ben is a great wrestler and a ground fighter but he is yet to prove against the toughest opponents in the UFC.

Ben Askren haven't fought for over a year since his last on at ONE FC. He was shaking dusts during that Robbie Lawler fight. Robbie was only a tune up, but props to him for  making it a real tough fight. But let us say Askren was not 100% back at that time.

Ben Askren's defeat to Mashvidal could be a fluke. It could have been very interesting too see how the two combatants fared to each other throughout the rounds. Askren could be 100% back that night but we didn't see that and probably never will since he is not undefeated this time. That fateful knee deprived us at least a round or two. Kudos to Mashvidal though for making it an early night for him.
That fight was controversial, remember it was stopped early by the referee, after stoping the fight and referee thought Lawler was down and out, you can see his hands was able to move and the referee was apologizing to Lawler because of that call. They say that the fighters in One FC are quite different from UFC. Just look at Vera who is not doing quite well during his days in UFC, but in One FC, he is a champ but not until someone defeated him in the last One FC event.
